The best fresh fish ever. Amazing assortment and great prices. You pick out your fish and they filet it for you in the back. Not much atmosphere but plenty of good stuff. Worth the trip.

My new favorite fish market ! I heard about this place from one of my friends and I'm happy that I decided to pop in. The place is small but gets the job done . The fish was very fresh and a decent price . They have a shipment everyday and a nice selection to choose from. There's plenty of street parking and a little parking lot for customers in front . There is option to buy a whole fish or buy pieces ... Cleaning of the whole fish and cutting is free with purchase .

Love the fresh seafood they have there. We have bought a ton of fish and shrimp from them. I also love their scallops. It's a small place but well stocked.

While stopping in Freeport in May, my daughter thought I would get a kick out of seeing this fresh fish market located along the Nautical Mile. (A) because it was so many kinds of fish.... and..... (B) because it was fresh. Even though I live in Los Angeles and can get to the beach with ease, the truth is, L.A. is not known for fresh fish markets, restaurants or otherwise. Sure, they exist, but it's not a common thing nor a commodity like other ocean-based cities, such as San Francisco, Seattle, Boston or anywhere else along the Eastern seaboard, so she brought me in here. As evidenced by all the photos I took, you can see I was impressed by all that fish and seafood. Wow !! I don't have a point of comparison to know how this store is priced, but I wasn't going to buy any fish either. I was just being a tourist and enjoying it all. To be honest, if it's really good quality, not to mention, FRESH.....I don't mind paying more for that. It's nice to know there are places peppered throughout our country that can deliver on fresh, quality fish.......and a great selection at that !!

Today I went in and perhaps it was the fact that it seemed to be all younger workers, I'm not sure. But I had the same guy ring me up today and the other day. Today he wasn't very friendly, and even walked away after handing me my receipt, leaving me to bag my items. As far as the food, the salmon stuffed with crab meat was so good! I had to get the salmon with lobster meat this time because I'm sure that's just as good!

Best part was finding the premium meats. A5 Wagyu, pichana steaks, sweetbreads, elk and bison meat just to name a few things. They also sell marinades, condiments, frozen fruit and vegetables. Beverages and salad toppings too. It's literally your local grocery store but better! This is the spot to grab proteins you need ahead of time for that BBQ you're planning or that family feast you will host. The variety is really the draw here. I saw lobster tails, scallops by the pound and coolest part, pre-made frozen goods for those that just want to thaw and reheat. That is great for when you didn't plan your meals ahead. I highly recommend this market for finding the unique, the premium, or for your everyday groceries. The model is simple: flash frozen, freshly sealed, and shipped or in this case, delivered to your local store. They own farms themselves, have huge bunkers and they work with the locals to source the goods.

We were thinking that it would just be a boring ride that the tour guide will explain about the places we will be going. The ladies band music added to the great experience. We went for a pre-dinner at one of the historic sea grill restaurant along the mile-Otto Grill and enjoyed the live band as well as food and drinks with a view of the canal. There are many things to see and explore along the Nautical mile and staying during the night after the sunset boat trip was a very fun thing to do. Will I come back ? Sure , why not. I heard of their boat festival event during Christmas time.

I love the relatively new addition of the volleyball courts and the public workout station at the park along end of the mile. I'm also quite fond of the new restaurants that call the Nautical Mile home, namely Off the Hook and Secret Thai Kitchen. There's also a cute little ice cream shop called Sam's Scoops as well, which has a seriously yummy vegan cookies & cream flavor. My favorite thing to do on the mile is kayaking and spending a whole afternoon on the water. There's even a couple of "secret beach" islands, though they seem sort of inhabited, though fun to explore the perimeters of. Like I said, I really LOVE it here.

I made reservations thru opentable, but when arriving I saw some availability inside and outside. We were promptly greeted and seated. Our waiter was Rich, he was friendly, funny and attentive to what we ordered. He apparently juggles apples too impressive lol but they are great at this restaurant. Food: I had the lobster mac and cheese and the not so old fashioned, both were delicious. My friends had shrimp and fries with the rum punch as well as the chicken and drink with prosecco and with a juice that made it turn purple pretty cool. I believe it came with a lemon drop shot. Appetizers we got the calamari and mozzarella Rangoon delish. We sat outside in front on the mile but I hear they have seating in the back area near the water. Definitely come here!! I will definitely come back here and try a few other dishes as well. Keep up the good work and great tasting food and drinks.
