Do his parents ordered up everything and we went! So we got there around 4 on Friday and man it was packed! This is a good thing you see because that means the seafood was fresh and the stuff in the cases were being replenished quickly! Anyway we had our little yellow recipe, gave it to the cure girl behind the counter. While he was of getting out order, we got a phone call to order a whole lot more stuff. So we need 2 more lbs of salmon, 4 pieces of grey sole, sea scallops and lobster tails. I had no idea what I was ordering so taking to the gentleman behind the counter he was incredibly helpful in letting me know what I needed in the sole fish, the differences in sizes in the lobster tails and making sure I didn't get extra water in the sea scallops container. The salmon was taken over to the fish monger, a slightly older gentleman who was really busy with opening clams and cutting fish for other people. But because our cuts to the fish was easy he did it right there! Which was 2 lbs cut into 4 half pound pieces. Super fast! We ended up getting in and out pretty quickly but as we were there we found out that they offer to open clams, clean and fillet fish, de-shell and de-vein shrimp, and in general be very caring with the seafood. Of course the best course of action is to order this stuff ahead of time as suggested by one of the cute girls working there. All in all 5 stars because they were fast, organized, helpful and pleasant to be around even during the ridiculously busy rush of the holidays!
