Tried this place for the first time last night. I was in the mood for sushi but my boyfriend doesn't eat it. We tried this place cause they serve sushi and Chinese and are a few blocks from our house. I got the Kani salad, Boston roll, California roll, and a mango eel roll. He had sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice and an egg roll. The prices were great and the food was delicious. We usually order Chinese from Mimi's kitchen where the food is always good but the prices are outrageous. The sweet and sour chicken was just as good at Mimi's and cost close to $5 less at a lucky fortune. Try them! We're definitely going to order from there again. read more

I ordered delivery from this place and now take out. This place never disappoints. I ordered the salmon teriyaki bento box and for my daughter the chicken teriyaki bento box. The bento box comes with sushi rolls, salmon. Grilled veggies, and rice. There is a side order of salad. It's taste as fresh as it's made.They have a sushi chef on site that makes fresh sushi rolls. The place is clean, a little dull but the smell of the food as you walk in makes up for that. I like that this is not like the occasional Chinese spot. It's something to look forward too when deciding on Chinese I would of have it a ful start but I was waiting for a min to give my order for the person at the front was answering phones while I was standing there. When I came home eight my order I saw the California roll looked like it was not done properly or it was half eaten. I'm very disappointed with the order. Try to order in advance. Service is not the fastest but the food is pretty good. Prices are not too bad. Love the beef on stick.

They certainly have improved in the last few months. Service is always fast. They took away the fountain machine so it's now bottled soda, but they offer hot tea while you wait. I order online, they still have the offer of 10% off when you order online. If you order sesame chicken, orange chicken, or general tso chicken, order it extra crispy it's really good, when we order it regular it gets too soggy and doesn't taste good. When it's extra crispy the sauce carmelizes on the extra hot chicken and it's so good. read more

This restaurant was formerly known as Shoki Hibachi. The grand opening was Friday. My family and I decided to check it out. The layout of the restaurant is the same. I did notice that the tv was off and the soda machine was broken. Staff was friendly and helpful. The menu is Chinese and Japanese cuisine. There are lunch specials for sushi but no dinner specials. There are lunch and dinner specials for Chinese food and teriyaki bento box with salad, miso soup, California roll and dumplings. We decided to order the beef teriyaki bento box and salmon teriyaki with noodles to go. The staff informed us that they now charge $1 to substitute noodles for rice. When it was under different ownership they would not charge for this. We were disappointed when when we heard this. I remarked that we used to come here all time before it shut down. The staff offered 10% off the total order. We waited around 10 minutes before our food was ready. When we got home we noticed that the portions were not as big as before. The food was delicious but definitely the portions for the salmon and beef teriyaki were smaller than expected. Overall I would give them 3.5 stars. We would like to give them another try because it is nice having something else besides fast food. read more

I saw the Grand opening sign and then I was thinking I could go for some Chinese. When I got home I saw I had a take out menu from them in my mail box. They offer 10% off if you order on line, so ordered take out online and went to go pick it up. Upon walking into the Lucky Fortune I noticed how clean and new everything was. The staff was also very nice and greeted me right away. Lucky Fortune is both a Chinese and Japanese take out restaurant. They are spacious, clean and have some seating. The Kitchen is basically open and you can see them cooking. They also have a Sushi chef at a little bar next to the front counter. I order the Gyoza fried pork dumplings, Shumai fried, Beef Negimaki, Hot and Sour soup and house special Chop Suey with white rice. The Gyoza were light and larger than most, although a little bland and not as crispy as I like. Shumai was as expected. The Beef Negimaki was very small, I really didn't care for it much and wouldn't order it again. The Hot and Sour soup was good. The House special Chop Suey was a disappointment, it was mostly chicken, with a little pork and 3 small shrimp, once again a little on the bland side. For dumplings and Chinese food I feel there are better choices in town. I can't speak on their Sushi and other Japanese dishes. I would say they're very average, but in all fairness it is their first week open. read more

Wow, what a waste of money. I cant even believe they considered that food. The sushi was some of the worst sushi I ever had. Normally my yellowtail rolls [from my go to spot] are bright and look appetizing. I cannot say the same for these rolls. The spring rolls were not crispy or thin. The inside was mushy and soaked in grease. The shrimp tempura was ok, nothing to celebrate or really complain about. The girl at the register was nice and friendly but packaged the food with the same glove she used to collect money and operate the cash register. Overall, i do not recommend this place to anyone. I received an e-mail saying my order (the one that I just got refunded for), was being prepared for delivery. I freaked out thinking, "these people are going to charge my card again!!) This is the former location of Shoki Hibachi. If you were hoping it's the same people and food, it's not. I previously gave Shoki a 5 star review. While some of the old menu items are still there, what I ordered was awful compared to Shoki. The fried rice was the generic cheap yellow rice, and even by those standards it was the worst fried rice I've ever had. I love fried rice and I didn't eat any of this. I ordered the orange chicken. Orange chicken was my favorite dish at Shoki Hibachi. This was terrible. Bland and flavorless. Moreover, it was clear as day that they took their General Tso's and just sprinkled some orange peels on top. They even left the peppers inside! Overall super disappointing and I won't be eating there again. read more

The place is spotless clean and the food is delicious they actually care about the customers the people whoever gives this place a bad review needs to continue going to the other dirty dingy chinese places that doesn't clean up and care about the customers . It's a shame that even when a place has tasty food and also clean there has to be those people lying. I order chicken and broccoli also tried there egg roll. Sushi should be freshly made and delectable - All Ten different kinds of Al A Carte Sushi pieces were not prepared authentically - They were thick chunks of fish resting on plain, cold, old, dry rice - Supermarket Sushi is far superior! Chef's Special Twice Delight was NOT delightful. I have ordered this dish on three different occasions and each time they have sliced the scallops up into at least three parts - Tastes OK, but . . . thin slivers are barely recognizable as scallops in a shrimp and scallop dish with vegetables - This dish comes with rice - I paid $1 extra for smelly, slimy, moldy brown rice. An Asian Restaurant that cannot get a staple like rice correctly made and FRESH should NOT be in business - They have probably been getting away with this quality of food for many years - When will it stop?
