The food was fresh and good. It's hard to find good Chinese food. I had shrimp and broccoli.

Great Chinese food. The beef lo mein is my favorite but everything is good. Service is great as well. Support local biz!

It is my go to Chinese food restaurant because the staff are very nice, the food is good, service is fast, and they have bubble tea.

My parents introduced me to this place and they go every Sunday after church. So yesterday (Sunday) I joined them. We were greeted by friendly staff but again my parents come every Sunday so they were friendly because they know them. But I think they do well because people were coming in and the place has been serving clientele for 30+ years.. The inside is very spacious and nicely decorated and maintained. The food we had reminded me of Chinatown (Wo Hop on Mott St). We ordered pork mei fun, veggie mei fun, General Tao's chicken, spicy prawn dish and broccoli w/ garlic sauce Oh and we started with hot and sour soup and wonton soup. We also had these crispy chips on the table with some good sauces ( chili paste, hot mustard and duck sauce) to dip. Services was super quick and plentiful. Everything arrived hot and tasty. We were all beyond satisfied. I can see why my parents come every Sunday and why they have been around all these years. If you're near Lynbrook come on by. I will take pictures next time because this time I was hungry. ‍

That in addition to the main chicken element being non-existent. The fried chips and duck sauce were the best part of the meal. We'll definitely won't return, better places around.

There is a certain taste to lzbns which is described as "xian", and this soup has it. The pork sauerkraut dumplings were also great, as a Northeastern Chinese (Harbin) restaurant, the dumplings were as chonky as I expected with great wrapper texture. They give free pickled veg (pickled with Sichuan peppercorns!) and watermelon as well. Staff was attentive, I came on a Sunday dinner 630pm, was quiet, mostly takeout orders. Wonderful restaurant, definitely eat in if you can for the freshest experience.

However, I was comforted by the fact that several were Yelp elite reviewers. Nevertheless, my party included another Yelp elite reviewer. I figured two tongues were better than one to judge . The restaurant is a modest sized, neighborhood, family run gem. The food is unique in that it is inspired by cuisine from Northeastern China. The menu is huge and the waitress was very helpful in explaining the various choices. We started with some amazing steamed dumplings, both shrimp and vegetarian. The vegetarian secret soup was delicately seasoned. The sweet and sour double cooked pork fillets, which is the highlight of the type of cuisine offered here, was quite different than expected. There was no sweet and sour sauce draped over the strips of pork rather the sauce was mixed into the pork before it was crispy fried. The result was delicious! The moonlit lotus pond was filled with a variety of vegetables, each cooked just right, not too mushy nor hard. The shrimp were very good but could have been more plentiful. The fish flavored eggplant dish was excellent and surprisingly vegetarian as the flavoring did not come from fish itself. Portions of all the dishes were quite generous. Service was excellent. Seating modest, not fancy, and clean. Pricing very reasonable. This restaurant is quite a find. Highly recommend it next time. you are anywhere near Franklin Square (just off the Southern State Parkway).
