Every dish was bursting with flavor, fresh ingredients, and perfectly cooked. The portions were generous, and you can really taste the care they put into every meal. The orange chicken was crispy and just the right balance of sweet and tangy, and the fried rice was packed with flavor--not greasy at all. I also tried their dumplings, and they were so juicy and well-seasoned. Everything was cooked to perfection. The service was fast and efficient. I stopped here on a whim after my brother called sick, and needed soup, something to eat. Upon entering I asked another patron if she like the food and she said yes, it's good. That's always good. My brother wanted Chicken Mei Fun, add broccoli. I've never had it before and was glad to try his without making a full commitment. It is thin noodles with slices of veggies and including snow peas, which I love. It was tasty although I did need to add soy sauce. I didn't try the soup, but my brother liked it. Overall I gave it 4 stars as I didn't eat much but what I ate was tasty but not necessarily memorable. read more

If you want the very very best this is the place for the very very best Chinese food. I have been a patron for years and have not ever been disappointed. The portions are large (can never get over how big the shrimp are). The wonton in the soup you need to cut it in half and yes you do get many. I have never ever had a bad meal here and I send many to this take out and they stop going to where ever they did in the past. Believe me you will not be disappointed. Had take out last night. The food was ready when I got there. Staff is very friendly. Due to the pandemic there is at the moment no dine in option. Once you get your food, there is a table with all the sauces, napkins, utensils, and fortune cookies, so you can take as many you need. The food is tasty, I ordered scallion pancakes, which I love, vegetable low mein (which comes with a lot of vegetables, not like other places where u get to pieces of broccoli and that's it) and sesame chicken, which comes with an egg role. I ordered from this place many times and never had any issue and the food was always good. The prices are similar to other Chinese restaurants. Parking is never a problem because they have a parking lot right in front of the restaurant. read more

First time ordering from Fu Wai. Food was very disappointing! General Tso's chicken was bland (despite requesting extra spicy) and the house special lo mein was AWFUL...had a serious burnt taste. This is pretty much our go to Chinese food restaurant. We live 5 mins away so it's easy for us to keep ordering from them. Delivery is fast and the food is good. The lady is very nice , you can call ahead to save time if you want to. They have a small drink section. It's a simple small Chinese food place. The prices on the menu are average, which is good. They also cook pretty fast so you never have to wait to long to get your food. CONS- They need to re model the place, it's extremely outdated and the sign from the outside you can't even see to well. It doesn't attract customers in. PROS- They make their own sweet tea it's very good, try it sometime. read more

Best dumplings anywhere period. I have yet to find better steamed dumplings than fu wai, they are amazing. General tso's chicken is also super good, egg rolls, honestly pretty much everything from fu wai is pretty good. And super reasonable prices too, especially the lunch special. Ok, so I should have known better, but Its 3:30, i haven't had lunch, I'm there, I gotta get some kind of snack to hold me 'til dinner, so I pop into this dump. It's 92 degrees out and there's no air conditioning. I order a shrimp roll and hot and sour soup for a quicky from the grumpy young woman at the counter. I pull a soda from the cooler and ask for a cup of ice. "No ice" says she. No sorry either. After more time than seems reasonable, my "eat here" food is served packed as if to travel, guaranteeing no chance of real crispness for the shrimp roll. There's no plate for it either. Nor any kind of bowl from which to enjoy the utterly flavorless, characterless hot and sour soup. Of course the crispy noodles to accompany he soup are those bags of soulless little tubular factory greased noodle imitations. I'd say I won't be back but I still can't believe I've been there once. read more

If you want the best take out for Chinese-this is the place to go. The portions are always quite large-most of the dishes I order are shrimp-jumbo shrimp that is they use, won-tons that are super large and tasty beyond belief! Love their soups! When my out of town family comes-they go there many a time for lunch or dinner-could be there just for weekend and they get their take out at Fu Wai no other place. The meals are always cooked perfectly. Looking at some of the other reviews-eggroll was greasy-they are fried and any eggroll I have had was that way. Cashier yelling-"When the cashier is yelling" she is telling the cooks what your order is. They are very nice people. Have been going there for 25 years. Delivery was decent considering I ordered from a few blocks away, food was pretty tasteless, though prices were cheaper than usual. Prices were the reason I ordered in the first place, but you know the saying..."you get what you pay for". My boyfriend and I got sick for the next 2 days, not knowing from what food item it was. Possibly the worst Chinese food I've ever had. Nothing was good. The sesame pancakes were a sad facsimile of the real thing. Sesame pancakes should be light, airy, and crispy. These were soaked in oil and chewy, with an almost mochi-like texture. I couldn't eat more than a bite. The General Tso's chicken was tough and flavorless. I don't expect too much from neighborhood hole in the wall Chinese places, but this was even below those expectations. I try to never waste food, but ended up tossing most of it or feeding it to my dog. read more

Whenever I'm here I get the wontons. Whether fried or in soup probably the best wonton I've had yet. Fresh, doughy, meaty, just right.

Best General Tso's in the area, the meat is always all white meat. All others use dark meat and often have grizzle gross stuff.
