I don't leave reviews very often, but this place absolutely deserves one. From the moment we took our first bite, you could tell that everyone in the kitchen truly cares about the food they serve. Every dish tasted like it was made with pride, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to make customers happy. It's the kind of place where you can feel the passion through the food. We ordered the Shrimp Shumai, Pork Tiny Pan Fried Dumplings, Honey Roast Pork Bun, Vegetable Spring Roll, Honey Roast Pork Belly, and the Fried Coconut Bread with Condensed Milk... and every single item was delicious. We loved it so much that before leaving, we ordered two Beef Lo Meins to go, along with another order of the Pork Tiny Pan Fried Dumplings and the Fried Coconut Bread with Condensed Milk! As if the incredible food wasn't enough, the staff was incredibly kind. As we were leaving, they surprised us with a complimentary sample of something that's coming soon, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made us feel genuinely appreciated. It's not a huge restaurant, but don't let the size fool you. Sometimes the smallest places serve the biggest flavors, and this is definitely one of them. This is a tiny spot in RVC that has 3 tables. It's more of a take out spot and you order via two screens. Their chicken dumplings and chicken wings are delicious. The soup dumplings and shumai are also good. If you're looking for a dim sum spot close to home, this will hit the spot. read more

ZERO STARS!! Rude staff ruined the vibe before I even ordered. I love trying new spots and was excited when I stumbled across this place. I walked in to grab a menu, took it back to my car to browse, and saw a few things that caught my eye. I went back in to ask a few questions and hopefully get a recommendation. I told the cashier it was my first time and asked if he had any suggestions. He just stared at me. No greeting, no interest--just blank. That should've been my cue to leave. I asked if the bao buns were available separately since I saw them listed as part of a duck platter. He replied flatly, "No." Another customer walked in, so I turned to them and asked what they recommend since the cashier clearly wasn't interested in helping. They offered a few suggestions. I then asked the cashier how many ribs came in the order. His response? A dry "I don't know," paired with a shoulder shrug. No effort to find out. No attempt to sell the food. Just rude and dismissive. It honestly made me question if he had a problem with me. The attitude felt personal. Either way, it was completely off-putting, and I wasn't about to spend my money somewhere I felt unwelcome. I took my business elsewhere without hesitation. If you're the person customers interact with first, you should want to represent your business well. I didn't try the food, so I can't speak on that--but the pricing looked steep for what resembled a basic takeout spot. Customer service matters. First impressions matter. And this one was trash. We've been wanting to try this place out for a while sorry to say I dont think we'll be back. We ordered take out, chicken with broccoli, chicken spring rolls, chicken fried rice, pan fried pork dumplings, and wonton soup. The only thing we ate was the chicken with broccoli and some fried rice. The spring rolls were very oily, the dumplings were undercooked, wonton soup had a funny smell and the fried rice didn't taste fresh. Street parking can be challenging in this area. The interior is small with three tables for seating but better set up for take out. Ordering can be done at the counter or in one of two kiosks. read more

I've ordered from here to go several times and have also eaten inside as well. The food is good, one of the better dim sum spots in the area, and the price is okay for what you get. Highly recommend the claypot rice. The food here is as close to legit, Flushing style. Wide variety of flavors and dumplings, entrees. It's very centrally located in Rockville Centre so it's close to Oceanside, Baldwin, Freeport etc. and it's also extremely reasonably priced. read more

We got 50$ worth of food as pictures as well as what we got. It wasn't bad, the wagyu buns honestly taste like a balled hamburger. The egg custard buns were very grainy which was a little unpleasant but they were ok. The soup dumplings were super small and not very soupy, for 1$ per dumpling it was a little underwhelming but the honey pork bun and the duck buns were lovely. I'm super excited to be the 2nd reviewer for Dim Sum Bloom RVC. This awesome Women-owned business just recently opened up this second location, their first being in Manhattan. We ordered via the kiosks, which was super easy and intuitive. We chose to take our food to go, which was ready rather quickly in less than 15 minutes or so. Everything was absolutely delicious. I'm talking veggie spring rolls, dan dan noodles, grilled beef ribs over rice, scallion pancakes, and Shanghai soup dumplings... everything was literally 5-stars, including the genuinely friendly service at the counter. Can't wait to return a second time.. which will probably be later this week! read more

Official grand opening will be on Saturday, April 6th. They will be giving scratch off cards and keychain dumplings to celebrate. Right now it's in it's soft opening stage so the menu is limited but not too limited, a good amount is available. I does take a while since everything is steamed/made fresh when ordering. Allow a good 30 minute window for slightly bigger orders. I waited about 35 minutes. My order consisted of steamed buns, and pan fried dumplings. But all the buns and dumpling wrappers were super fresh. Fried rice orders take about 10mins. Everything is priced just right too. Not too expensive in comparison to order dim sum places. You can order from the 2 kiosk or you can order from the front cashier, who is extremely helpful with suggestions. It is a small location 2 four seater tables and then 1 two seater. But it is brightly lit with natural lighting. Definitely a great unique addition to the neighborhood. Parking paid is street parking, there's smaller paid parking lots in the surrounding area too. Parking is cheap, and it is free after 6pm daily. read more

Meh, this is very mediocre food. Especially for the price. I ordered the shrimp and pork shumai, the dan dan noodles, hongkong style shrimp dumplings, wonton soup and the general tso chicken. I always judge shumai or any dumpling really, on weather or not I can eat it without the sauce. These, no, you need the sauce as that is where the flavor is coming from. The hongkong style shrimp dumplings were tasty. You can eat those without the sauce. It had a nice fry to them and the filling was moist. dan dan noodles....I ordered because of the dan dan noodles. I'm so glad I didn't get the mapo tofu because if it's anything like the dan dan noodles, it will look appealing but taste extremely lack luster. Its wild because it looks like it will be flavorful but the only thing that "flavors" it is the pepper. Again, it is a lackluster bland noodle. I will be making it over because there is no way I spent $48 on my food just to throw it away. The general tso chicken was dry without any sauce. The white rice that is included with it was not sent in my order. But I guess that was for the best since the whole meal would have been mad max fury level. I've honestly never seen dry general tso chicken before. I didn't even know that could exist. Wonton Soup- broth was flavorful and oddly enough, wontons were plentiful. I was actually surprised by the amount of wontons it included. I wont be ordering from here again. I'm constantly let down with Long Island Chinese food. I have to make the trek to queens if I want flavorful Chinese food. For the amount you pay, this food is not worth it at all. Go to your local mom and pop restaurant and you'll at least get your moneys worth. read more

Would be great to serve people eating in in something other than take out boxes and have plates available and sauces not in little plastic containers. Would return for sure. I'm so glad that Nassau County is getting more authentic cuisine. Dim Sum Bloom has great appetizers and dumplings with a kiosk ordering system. Everything is made fresh and delicious so give yourself at least 30 minutes for your order to be ready (they'll text you when it's ready). They use a white reusable bag for each order. Their prices are high which is to be expected for a small business, inflation, Rockville Centre rent, fresh ingredients and rising workers' wages. A delightful addition to the town. I'm thinking they'd save $$ on less expensive packaging. read more

First of All, The young lady that was running the counter was so nice and informative that she makes you feel at home. The place is small, only a couple of tables. The Soup Dumplings and Shumai are on par with some of the best Dim Sum places I've eaten at around the country. I had Pork and cabbage dumplings that were also excellent. I am so glad a place has opened nearby with high quality "Home Made" Dumplings and Dim Sum. I will be back to try their "Homemade" noodle dishes. Two flawlessly delicious meals from great people you want to support. So my wife and I happened to pass by during the grand opening and it was a party. Dragons, lotto tix, coupons and good vibes. We came back and ate under the roof a week later. It's small with just a couple of tables with options to order at the register or at a kiosk. There may not be a public bathroom, must confirm. Super clean! We have eaten there and taken delivery. We've tried just about everything in the menu, don't judge. Everything is really, really good. Some stand outs are: the steam pork buns (maybe the best I've had this side of Flushing) veg spring rolls, the ribs and rice w garlic sauce and tofu skin roll. Just bc I didn't mention doesn't mean it's not mouth watering delicious, bc it is. I have to say, all of the people we've interacted with are just the nicest. They are also very generous. I called to order a Peking Duck in the afternoon but they said I need to call 2-3 days in advance! I was disappointed but they called me back 20 mins later and said they will bring in one from their other store if I really want one for dinner. Their customer service exceeded my expectation. Two thumbs up!! Besides the Peking duck, I also order 2 clay pot rice. One beef and one pork. Both are very authentic and delicious. I am so happy we finally have a good Chinese food place in my neighborhood. Can't wait to try their dim sums and other dishes in the near future. Oh, the Peking duck was very good too. Just went for impromptu date night with my husband last night. When you first walk by it looks empty, but it is also a small store front, mainly for takeout or delivery. They have 2 self-order kiosks set up that are SUPER easy to use and very quick. But when you walk in the loud door chime rings and the friendliest woman walks out from the back kitchen to greet you and see if you need anything. They just opened recently, so we braced ourselves for any problems that would arise, BUT they were super quick, the menu was full of great options, the food came out in a very timely manner and the tables were very clean and comfortable. (There are only 2 four tops and 1 two top inside). We ordered a slew of things to try: veg spring roll, soup dumplings, scallion pancakes, spicy wonton in red oil, honey roast pork bun, bean curd skin rolls, and the grilled beef over rice with spicy garlic sauce. Spring roll was some of the best I've had, soup dumplings are smaller than usual, but the skin was sturdy and you didn't lose any of the soup inside when trying to bite into it. Wontons didn't say but had small shrimps inside, but very good and spicy but flavorful. The pork buns were a delight! Sweet savory filling and super light and fluffy (not dense at all) steamed bun. Bean curd rolls were lightly fried on the outside so it had the consistency of pan-fried egg whites and the inside had mushrooms, cabbage, carrots and water chestnut in a roux of some kind. I enjoyed it immensely and comes with a sriracha sauce. The grilled beef rice bowl is a little pricier than the rest but you get a HUGE portion of food. Comes over steamed rice, sauteed with onions and steamed bok choy and a hardboiled egg on the side as well. Overall the dumplings are a lil smaller than your average dim sum dumpling place, BUT the quality is very good and very flavorful. The portions were great for sharing and food delivery was very prompt. I am DEF going back soon to try their other dishes. read more

Delicious food! The scallion pancakes are the best. My family and I love dumplings and this is a great place. We've been there 2x in a week. Our new go-to place. So cool that they have vegetarian options too. The grilled beef ribs with rice, spring rolls, and veggie dumplings were terrific. The girl at the counter was so nice and answered our questions.
