I don't know if it's a management change or just the economic effects Covid has currently but their staff members are simply the worst and, what I consider, the root of their issues. An unfortunate hit-or-miss fast food restaurant in Lynbrook. I've been coming to this Wendy's ever since moving to the area (and even before then) and unfortunately find that service here can be inconsistent. While the food is what you would expect for Wendy's, the service is quite slow (especially at the counter), and they have mixed up orders on more than one occasion (often forgetting a part of the order, especially if there are multiple items involved of course). Part of the reason the service is slow here is the staff at the counter. There are some hard-working employees here (especially at the drive-thru), but I've seen many with no sense of hustle. On a few occasions I've seen staff members texting (or even on Snapchat?) behind the counter. It hasn't happened recently but I did notice this a few months ago. In general I've noticed that management prioritizes the drive thru, placing more staff (and the better staff) there, so if you have the choice, definitely opt to drive up to the window (even if there's 2 people waiting inside and 10 cars lined up outside, you might have a shorter wait outside). In fact, I've had little or no issue at the drive thru. Most issues arise at the counter inside (in one case, for instance, I was inside for 25 minutes despite having only 5 customers in front of me in line). Again, food here is fine and the place is kept pretty clean (and they even have one of those Coca Cola 100+ choice machines... Yay!), but service is hit or miss. read more

The service in this location has dropped drastically over the last year. They are continually rude and short when taking orders. you cannot use your card to pay your bill at the register only at the kiosk. You cannot use a coupon unless you pay in cash. If you try to order a breakfast sandwich 10:31 you are met with rude response that says breakfast is over you cannot order that. It's really a shame this location really use to be good. Used to be a great place, great service, and always came out hot. I go through the drive through for convenience, and am very disappointed. Said thank you for the food, and the girl slammed the window in my face, when she handed it to me, was talking to the next person in drive through, didn't even look at me. When you are inside Wendy's, you can be the only one on the line, and there's no one to serve you. There's a million people on the drive through line, and they have all the workers at the windows, and forgetting they have an inside. I'm a local and have truly tried to give this Wendy's a chance time and time again. Every single time I am incredibly disappointed and the Wendy's corporate office needs to be notified. Where do I even start - the soda machine is consistently out of 80% of the sodas. The line to order isn't terrible but it takes a minimum of 15 minutes to actually get your order. Even when you do get your order, the food quality is not to Wendy's usual standard. This Wendy's is truly a disaster and has absolutely no management. I've been to many different Wendy's locations and this one is one of the better ones in my opinion. It is clean, well-lit, and newly renovated. It even includes a fancy new beverage machine that has a touch screen display which you use to choose shots of flavor to inject into typical fizzy soft drinks. Ever since I've discovered Checkers, I haven't really been back here. I like Wendy's better than McDonalds or Burger King but Wendy's just does not hold a candle to Checkers. You can get pretty decent value and flavor for your buck if you take advantage of the value menu (like a dollar menu). Whenever my friends eat with me they always wonder how I get so much food at such a low price and I always tell them to order exclusively from the value menu rather than getting the combos which seem to gouge you for being too lazy to choose your meal items individually. I used to love their chicken bites that you could choose the sauce for and then shake them up in the little plastic box but they've discontinued that item. Boo! Their menu is always changing and you can substitute various items for the fries if you prefer. This location also offers a drive thru for your convenience which isn't as crowded and slow as the Burger King drive thru. If you're hankering for some Wendy's, then I definitely suggest trekking to this one since it is one of the nicer ones that tends to have fresher ingredients than other Wendy's I've been to. read more

Wendy's is pretty standard. I rarely have complaints about the food. But this is the first time I used the kiosk and even though my order showed on the "ready" screen and i was charged, it vanished nearly immediately and one of the workers said my order never went through and I should have gotten a receipt from the kiosk, even though the kiosk said they would have my receipt.Turns out the receipt fell on the floor and everyone moved on instead of actually making sure I had my food. So I also had to wait for them to remake my order. I get that it's their replacement but they still should have a better system for the kiosk orders.
