This has got to be the best McDonalds I've been to! What did I love? The self ordering kiosk was easy to use. The staff was friendly and helpful. My food was delivered to my table piping hot and with a smile. I kept seeing staff sweeping the floor and cleaning or running outside to deliver items to waiting drive thru customers. Just came here with my husband and my 3 year old daughter, also being 9 months pregnant and encountered the rudest woman behind the counter. Not sure if she was the manager, as she was barking orders. We had 15 mins until closing, and all it would have took us to eat. She saw me put my daughter in a highchair, take her jacket off and waited until after we ordered to say we couldn't stay. She was rude and disrespectful. We'll never step foot in here again. The service has always been horrible here. The amount of times they've forgotten the order, did it wrong, or flat out just didn't give me part of what I paid for is insane. There are plenty of better places around this specific McDonald's that you should go to instead. The workers are also rude and angry, they roll there eyes at you when you ask for extra sauce, they are rude over the drive through speaker and incoherently mumble. The place itself, isn't that dirty which is why I give it 1 star for being bearable. Very aesthetically pleasing interior. My ordered was messed up unfortunately. I came to grab a steak bagel for my drive up to school and was given a sausage, egg, and cheese bagel. The interior looks very nice. The table I sat at had a heat lamp on top of my head which I didn't love about this restaurant. The walls and furniture look very nice. The workers are constantly wiping and wiping, yet the tables are still sticky. There was barely any air on. There were 2 people working so hard cleaning the inside of the window and the outside. The outside one worried me a bit because she was standing on the top of the ladder on a step that was actually the handle of the ladder, so I just watched her as I anxiously ate my bagel... This place used to be really nice and big when I was a kid. However, they did construction and downsized the entire store to now just one are to sit in. There used to be multiple sections and the entire store felt cooler. Now that the store has more glass windows, it is hotter during summer from the greenhouse effect and limited air conditioning. However I literally installed Yelp to leave this review, because the most recent renovations (ones done in June 2023) are an obvious ploy to get rid of free refills on drinks. Cheaping out, and they'd probably have to sell thousands of drinks to make up for the renovation costs and lost revenue from being closed to do them. read more

I'm not going to front, I do sometimes run to get fast food. Micky D's has a great drive through, good coffee, consistently delicious french fries and good quick breakfast sandwiches. This is a really nice location, but the staff sucks. We consistently get sandwiches from here that are missing toppings that we've paid for. Whenever i order a smoothie it's always missing 1/4 of the quantity that should be in the cup. And no one there seems to care. Today we ordered again and every one of the three sandwiches was wrong. The manager Jospeh never even bothered to get involved or approach us even though he was standing right there when we came in to address the problem. I came here after visiting Long Beach for a quick and easy lunch. The line for the drive-thru was short, and we received our food fast. I give 1 star because of the quality of this McDonald's food. I've been to other McDonald's, and the Mighty Wings at those locations were much better for whatever reason. Here, I was unable to finish the last 3 wings of my 5 piece Mighty Wings order. The wings were greasy and overly salted. The 6 piece chicken nuggets and ranch chicken salad I also ordered were fine, but I'm thoroughly disappointed in the wings. I must say the outside curb appeal of this McDonald's was wonderful. It looked clean and renovated; however, that does not make-up for the lack of quality in the food. My expectations when it comes to fast food chains such as McDonald's aren't unfairly high, but for being as hungry as I was after the beach, I did not enjoy the food as I usually would have at another McDonald's. Lastly, I asked for barbecue sauce for my wings, and the workers gave me multiple ranch dressings instead. I got my basic needs satisfied here. Me and my sisters arrived around 10 or 11pm and there was no lines. We used the bathroom then ordered our food. It took a couple mins but it was soooo fresh. I had the grilled chicken sweet chili wrap and that chicken was great. Usually when I get grilled chicken from McDonald's, its hard and definitely not warm. I've been stopping by this McDonald's for years and I never had bad service here. Usually they get my order correct. It's an okay McDonald's. Nothing spectacular. They went into renovations a few years back and changed the whole layout of the place. I think they're going for the whole McCafe look now. Honestly, I prefer the old look better. I went here last night to pick up some McFlurries and a Sundae, as you know they have 2 windows - one for payment and one for the pick up of the food. Why does the payment window attendant have gloves on and yet the guy at the food pick up window has none!!!! This is unacceptable!!!! He had on a mask but no gloves!!! I had the pleasure of going to the Lynbrook one today. I have to ask this? What is going on there? It was very warm in the store, infact it was actually cooler outside. For some reason the soda was warm and the garbage pails were full to the top and there were french fries all over the floor as well. I was there after 1 p.m. and there were only a few people in the store. I also didn't see many workers, I guess they were hiding for some reason. BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD. In the past my visits here were pleasant. Nothing special. Last night 1/02/19 I picked up 2 meals for dinner at the drive thru that came out to a total of 15$. The next morning I could not find my card. I looked everywhere. When I checked my account there were 2 extra transactions made at the same McDonald's. 1 for 9$ and the other for 19$. Looks like some McDonald's employees had dinner for sure. I did not drop my card at the drive thru. It was never given to me. I can't believe I'm writing a yelp review on a McDonald's but here goes... I rarely eat fast food but on this hungover Sunday, I dropped my kid off at what is basically a Chuck E. Cheese and there was no way I would stay there. Who would? I'm not THAT Mom. Anyway, hungover and not a lot around here where I would feel good about myself so why not go for the hangover cure of some cheeseburgers at Micky Dees? Drove over here and parked. Nice and new building. Clean restaurant. And get this! Table service! You say 'what?!' No joke! Ordered me some cheeseburgers and even got the fries and a full sugar soda (seriously hungover) and they gave me a table tent plastic number thingy. Super friendly staff -- like, polite and friendly! Unfriggenheard of these days! The cute gal brought out my order and asked if i needed anything else. Like WHAT?!?! I'm thinking my hangover is actually an alcohol induced dream but no! Not only did she ask me when she delivered the food, she brought out another order a few minutes later for another table and stopped by and checked on me again! Got stuck coming to this McDonalds since they are renovating the Rosedale McDonalds. Should have just gone to Burger King. This McDonalds consistently screws up my orders. Most recently, my nuggets were burnt, the fries were soggy, and my Strawberry Creme pie somehow turned into two (nasty) apple pies. Next time I'll just go to Springfield Gardens instead. read more
