Country Store & Deli

You wouldn't expect to find such a hidden gem attached to a gas station - but this friendly, "hole…read morein the wall" country store makes the best breakfast sandwiches in New Jersey!! It all starts with the roll! Perfectly baked, crispy on the outside and perfect on the inside! If you are a fan of buttered rolls, you will not find better anywhere else! Even their butter is a perfectly sweetened, whipped butter salted just right! All of their breakfast sandwiches are without a doubt the best I've ever had! I always order a double egg, cheese, salt, pepper and ketchup on a roll. Of course they also have pork roll, bacon, sausage and everything else you could possibly put on a breakfast sandwich. They also make 5-star lunches! I have had both their tuna and chicken salad sandwiches. They really load it on and the flavor is wonderful! I want to make a point of mentioning that their prices are extremely fair and less than most. In addition their coffee is great too in case you're wondering. Please do not let looks deceive you! You need to go inside this place! There is additional parking around the back. You can even call ahead and place your order so it's ready when you get there. Once you go inside you'll be happy you did! Very highly recommended for breakfast and lunch!

Omg I'm in love with the @countrystore454 . They are notorious for breakfast and lunch. The food…read morewas amazing no one spoke till the last bite. I had the worlds best Chicken Gyro . Made with real juicy chicken no mystery meat, fresh veggies, and tzatziki sauce so good I thought I was in Greece . The wife had a classic cheesesteak you know I had to take a bite amazing to say the least. My mother in law had a Turkey club with crispy bacon non of that chewy stuff, it was packed with over 3 lb of the best @boarshead_official turkey. You can tell they take pride in fresh quality ingredients. My kids are super picky eaters and they gave 2 thumbs up as they devoured tenders and crinkle fries. The store is so nostalgic with old school items like Mary Janes made with real molasses and peanut butter, my favorite was a refreshing apple soda. The staff was fast and very friendly. This place is a true hidden gem literally the bellybutton of NJ surrounded by beautiful farms and trees very picturesque. It is a horrible shame when a brand new business opens up only to get attacked by local competitors…read moreposting fake, denigrating reviews to squash the competition. I know first hand that some of the scuzzy/starving pizza parlors in the area like to partake is this type of bashing, so much so that they actually caused another pizza parlor (a good one) to close. Only after logging in to Yelp to post a great (deserved) review on this place did I notice the online attack. Again, a complete shame, and if it were my business, I would immediately seek council and sue in federal court for denigration, intentional harm, interference with economic advantage and countless other torts. Anyway, back to the review. I will keep it short and sweet. All of my followers know that I have no issue leaving a scathing review when deserved, and they also know that as a SOBER diner, my taste buds are always spot on. Trust me - This place absolutely Rocks!! 1) I walked in and was immediately greeted by very friendly staff. Owner was in the back (staying on top of things) NOT abusing his employees, like one of the sham posters mentioned. 2) Everything in the trays 'looked' fantastic at first sight, and woulnd up being even BETTER than it looked! Pastrami was absolutely delicious. Owner suggested a 'cyclone' sandwich and it was totally fantastic. Melts in your mouth pastrami. 3) Hot dog was delicious. So were the beans (unreal) and the macaroni sides. 4) Bowtie paste - perfect 5) Homestyle potatoes = perfect 6) NY pickles absolutely delicious and crisp!!! 7) Garlic and Blue cheese fries! Delicious EVERYTHING was tender and delicious. Everything. As the town of Jackson is over crowded with pizza parlors that all leave their doors wide open and all taste the same, it is about time WE got a high quality place to grab some authentic NY style food. I posted a few images of our meals - do yourself a favor and try this place. You will remember my review after your fist bite! To the owners: Hang in there and DONT CHANGE ANYTHING! Your restaurant/deli is exactly what Jackson needs. Ignore the fake reviews from competitors. I guarantee your deli is going to be a major hit as more people find out about you. I'm telling everyone I know. Good luck and GREAT Job!

Tenth And Willow - Breakfast platter

Along this highway in Farmingdale, you will find an Italian deli that serves quality ingredients. I…read moreonly went there to support local businesses, and I will say that I do not regret it. Brand: 5/5 Tenth and Willow is an Italian-themed deli located in Colts Neck Plaza in Farmingdale. The logo has the Italian flag emblazoned in the background. The solid aesthetics on the website of the sparkles and shining rays perfectly represent the brand. When it comes to the interior, I will say that they deliver on all they promise, for you will find many Italian food and ingredients throughout the establishment. Website: 5/5 It brings you immediately to an image of a sandwich, which makes a good first impression on anyone coming to the site. Scrolling down, you encounter the backstory and the menu with many selections from beverages to wraps to heroes. You will find at the bottom a regularly updated blog section filled with fun facts of Tenth and Willow. Wait Time: 5/5 I experienced no delay or disruptions during the time I waited for my order. Ambiance: 4/5 The establishment housed plenty of Manhattan Specials of varying flavors throughout the aisles. You will also find plenty of cookies and treats upon racks, including meats and cheese hidden behind large glass counters. The aisles and the space between them and the deli did feel cramped with no tables or seats available. Food: 5/5 I ordered the Maple Ham Hero, which considers maple ham, fontana cheese, lettuce, tomato, and balsamic glaze. The maple ham had a sweet taste, as expected, which complements well with the sharp fontana cheese and the lettuce. The balsamic glaze had its own strong taste. The bread held well and had a decent amount of crunch, without becoming stale. Everything in the hero stayed in place while it also had a rich, thick taste. Service: 5/5 The staff managed to get my order without any issues. Worth The Money?: 4/5 The selection of meals, such as heroes, definitely reflect the brand of Tenth and Willow as an Italian market-and-deli. While I did not have a problem waiting, it did feel cumbersome in a cramped area for my order. Nevertheless, the ambiance of exploring around the establishment did not have an issue with me, especially as I got to see the delicacies from the cookies to the marzipan. As for the Maple Ham Hero, the appropriate wait time matched the quality of the food. The organization of the food shows that the staff care about their ingredients. They make it clear on their website that most of their partners provided locally sourced ingredients. If that is true, then this establishment deserves more attention, and I can see how Italian restaurants would rely on this deli for their ingredients. While the website does not scroll down with silky speed, it does provide a sense of welcoming ambiance with its deep, green color. I will say ultimately that the price of the Maple Ham Hero and the experience going to Tenth and Willow was worth it. Rating: 5/5 Stars I have hope that Tenth and Willow will continue to have relevance in Farmingdale, and among those who prioritize Italian cuisine and ingredients. Recommend To... Anyone just starting an Italian restaurant and is looking for key ingredients, since you would be supporting local producers while propping up your local business, thus creating a network of local businesses that help the community through the local multiplier effect. I also recommend to anyone looking to add more to their Italian-inspired cuisine and need suggestions about which meats, cheese, or spices to use. If you like Manhattan Special, then I would also recommend this establishment to you.

I had a tuna wrap (spinach wrap). The tuna was flavorful. My only issue was the spinach wrap. It took a little effort to bite through so I don't know if that means it wasn't as fresh. They had some other things I would like to try and will. As for the wrap, I would just call it a one off.
