First time, last time. Crab corn soup had no corn and was so salty could not eat any of it, same with Italian wedding soup. Medium pizza super greasy and way undercooked. Chopped salad was nothing more than shredded lettuce like you would put on a sub with cold cuts thrown on top totally mushy and also inedible. Only thing half way decent was chicken parm sub fried to a crisp with a sweet red sauce on top - 65.00 price tag made it even worse. Never ever again- shameful. read more

If there's any validity with these low ratings clearly the owner cares enough to have turned it around cause our dinner tonight was AMAZING! This was our first time ordering from here but based off Grubhub reviews it came highly recommended which is why I'm shocked by these reviews. I ordered the garden house salad with chicken, the Brooklyn pie and the jumbo wings with mango habanero sauce and every single item was fantastic. The salad was very simple but very fresh, chicken was warm and the balsamic dressing has to be homemade i assume and it was delightful. The Brooklyn pie had everything you want in a pie, excellent sauce and healthy amounts of fresh mozzarella. Perfect crisp to the crust which brought it up a notch in my book. The wings which I chose to do sauce on the side were crispy, big and perfectly cooked and the mango habanero sauce was awesome. Spicy, slightly sweet and not too salty. I will be ordering from here often. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. Not to mention, their prices are extremely fair! Awesome awesome job read more

First time ordering from Crespo's. I was hankering for pizza and my two favorite places in Farmingdale were not delivering so I did a search and found Crespo's. I'm glad I did . . . decent pie . . . above average . . . sort of thin crust. I'll definitely do them again. I wish they had Chicken Tetrazzini on their menu. One of my all-time favorite dishes . . . used to be a highlight on the menu at the old Airport Inn in Shrewsbury by the old Red Bank Airport. Stouffer's has had a frozen Turkey Tetrazzini for years but it is so much better made with chicken. But, it is nowhere to be found. There are recipes for it on the net and it's really easy to make. I moved to Jackson NJ from NYC and I wasn't sure I was goin to find the same quality food in my new neighborhood. Crespo's has a great pizza pie. Noticeably the cheese is great on the pizza. The dough isn't too thick at all and every bite was great. The prices are very reasonable and the variety of specialty pies are perfect. Even the day I ordered delivery. The food came hot and fresh and the price was very good compared to a different local pizzeria/restaurant who's food isn't not even as good as Crespo's. We tried this place during a power outage, because it was right around the corner, They had opened shortly before the pandemic. They had no power so cooking everything on gas stove. My husband and I both had veal dishes. I had veal and shrimp, with figs and asparagus over angel hair and my husband had veal and prosciutto in a vodka sauce. Both were excellent! read more

My mother catered from Crespos for her Christmas dinner. She raved about the Chicken Marsala and Francaise, Italian Meatballs, and Ravioli, saying they were all amazing. All the guests loved the spread. Crespos also did an astounding job taking care of her request for a special dietary restriction for one of the party. We got pizza and an antipasto from here yesterday and both were excellent !! The thin crust Brooklyn Square Pie was one of the best pizza I have ever had and I am very picky. Like a lot of places, instead of sauce it had outstanding canned tomatoes on it with fresh basil on top. Crust was thin and crispy. The antipasto was also excellent with plenty of meat, cheese, artichoke hearts excellent roasted peppers, artichoke hearts, olives. Only, problem was greens were still wet. I did not take off a star for this because everything was so good. They are newly opened and I hope they can make it. Top quality and I will try a dinner soon. read more

Just moved from Howell to Jackson. At the end of a long day, decided to try Crespo's based on Yelp ratings. We all ordered Chicken and Shrimp Champagne and it was excellent! Chicken, shrimp, asparagus and figs in cream sauce. Delicious! Fresh baked bread, kind of like focaccia with a dipping sauce and salad with a thick balsamic dressing. Went there for take-out to try the new place out. My wife had eggplant parm dinner which she said was very good. I had a sausage parm sub and it was awful. The sausage was very thin sliced, over-cooked and and not much of it (probably 1 sausage at most). The sub was mostly bread and cheese. Wasn't worth $10. Service was good and place was very clean.
