We had some pizza, some pasta and some salad and it was all really good. Our server highly recommended sandwich #17 and it was so good. I would have never ordered a grilled shrimp panini - - but this one was loaded with shrimp, avocado, broccoli rabe and fresh mozz -- SO GOOD - - definitely try that one! Service was also very good. Our server had so much patience - - it's hard to decide on an order because everything is so good! There's a reason Dave Portnoy gave Brooklyn Square a 8.9 rating - - the signature "upside down" pizza is so good. (Cheese on the bottom, sauce on the top). It's actually hard to even pick one slice - - so you'll have to go back and try other ones. My husband loves the eggplant rollatini....breaded eggplant rolled with ricotta, spinach, roasted red peppers with mozz on top - -that brings him back to Brooklyn Square every time! After having the appetizers I still left with enough of my meal for probably 3 lunches. The others had great meals some of which they had in the past. My only issue was the service and time to get the food. While we placed the order for apps and the meal at the same time it took 45 minutes for the meals to come out. The apps came out in a fair amount of time, but three tables that ordered after we had our apps, had their meals come out 5-10 minutes before ours. We had a one year old with us and the anxiety to not cause others an issue was at the top of our thoughts. I'm going to attribute this one bad night and will return because the foods so good. It takes me 3 days to eat it, and for me, its heaven on the third day, and yes, I refrigerate it and put it in the toaster oven to reheat. Anyway- probably over shared but the dough is fluffy, the sauce is the same as it was growing up, a very satisfying pizza. I think we can all agree that as we get older, our favorite memories of food and how it tasted then, versus now, can sometimes be disappointed or shadowed, but not for me, and not when it comes to Pizza Hut.
