I came here with my kids for dinner and it went downhill fast. Our server made things awkward and embarrassing when I asked about onions. I've had an onion intolerance my whole life, so I always check before ordering. This restaurant lists ingredients but (like many Italian spots) doesn't mention onions. When I asked, the server dragged it out with unnecessary questions instead of giving a clear answer: "no onions, no problem" or "the sauce has onions--let me suggest something else." Food was good but worst service of any restaurant I've been too in my entire life. We arrived with a 6pm reservation and weren't seated for 40 minutes. We received bread and then nothing else including water for another 25 minutes. It total we we're there for almost 3 hours m. They close at 8 pm and our food arrived 30 minutes before closing. We were never offered desert and felt rushed to leave as the approached closing time. They also gave our table of 6 2 wine glasses say that they were out of wine glasses. I suggest you bring your own glasses and wine opener. Hostess was also rude about our reservation and no apology offered. If you don't want to experience the same go after 7 so you will receive food in less than an hour as they move faster close to closing. Came here for a girls night. I literally live 2 mins away from here for the last 5yrs and never got to come here till tonight.. Just an FYI - we came here in a Wednesday around 6pm and it was ridiculously packed!!! Grace, who works at the front advised us to come after 7 so there is no wait time. So, instead of going through it. We decided to take on the special which a 3 course dinner for 15 bucks! First off , you are served bread with olive oil - this was great and I love the addition of chopped olives in the oil! I order the salad, chicken parm, and cannoli. Our waitress was nice and got our orders to us fast. I wish she took our previous dishes away before serving us our different courses. I also wish she refilled our waters instead of us having to ask. As for our food, the salad tasted great, and fresh. The chicken parm was very good! The sauce had a lot of flavor and the chicken was cheesy and juicy! One of the most popular Italian restaurants in our area! And deservedly so. The food is Incredibly delicious and affordable, service is terrific, restaurant is huge and plenty of parking. Great for large family parties, since it also serves one of the best pizzas, great for young diners, and the daily specials have always wowed me every time I visit. Restaurant is always packed because it is that popular, so it tends to be on the louder side, but the meal itself will make all that disappear, plus BYOB. I don't know what has happened to the food. I ordered online. The food was awful. pasta pomodore had ziti with very little sauce and a lot of chopped tomatoes on top. No flavor. Tomatoes seemed barely parboiled with lots of skin, half on, half off. Mozzarella stick super crisp as thought they were deep fried twice. Calamari soggy and very chewy. I wanted cheese and parsley ring with rabe. The photo on menu was perfect however the item I received was a Stromboli with so called cheese and parsley. Turns out the sausage was a sausage link thinly, thinly sliced. noT good at all. Chicken parm with vodka sauce was the only dish that was good..Salads were fine. I was disappointed with the service our server Kayla obviously forgot to put our order in we waited 50 minutes yes 50 even saw other people get food that ordered after us. Still questioning how this place only has 3.5 stars when it's a 5/5 all across the board. If I could give it more stars I would. This restaurant is worthy of being GOD'S FOOD. Let's start with the freshest bread you will ever have in your life - I'm talking about bread that is so piping hot that it will hurt your fingers when you touch it (and that's in a good way). The olive oil is immersed with olives giving it a unique touch. The spinach artichoke dip is the freshest I've ever had - so light not like others; I could literally eat this dip alone as a main course. For the main course we had vodka pizza with extra basil and eggplant rolatini with penne vodka pasta as a side. If you haven't gotten the gist of my post at this point idk guys - bottom line the food is amazing. The ambiance is homely and loving and the service is phenomenal. Everyone enjoyed our meal, service was good but our server would not give us separate checks,which I do not understand. In Florida it's never a problem for getting separate checks when you eat out at a restaurant. Here the other night our server told us she could only do 2 checks,not three. We also felt like we were being rushed to leave and we weren't there very long. In this day and age, people don't want to have to split bill when 5 people are involved. Food was as good as I remembered!! As I ate my meal, I was watching my favorite movie, and did not want to be interrupted to get up for salt and pepper. Came to celebrate husband's birthday along with my sister. My sister ordered the crab cakes from the 'SPECIAL MENU'. 2 large crab cakes were served on a plate with a drizzle of aioli sauce. So we visited Solo Bella for much needed dinner date. I been coming to this location for many years and you must know 2 things about this place. It's very loud. There are a lot of big parties. Make sure if you are just 2 or 3 people to make a reservation. I always enjoy the fresh bread with oil. We ordered there special salad. I love the saltiness to the dressing. Our main meals came from the specials. These specials seem to be the same ones from months ago because I ordered the same thing. The steak comes with thick bacon, mushrooms and a barbecue sauce. I asked for medium rare and when I cut in the thickest part, white lines in the steak. So rare. They had to take it back and when I cut it again, it was perfect. The flavor and the taste is very good. I enjoy the meal. My wife's meal was a lobster bisque sauce with seafood and pasta. She enjoyed it and having a soup as a sauce is a nice idea. Overall, I enjoyed Solo Bella but it's not a location I will go to every month. If you want the pizza, just order out. Try to request the small room for a small party. Also, order your steak medium. The tables received a plate of perfectly seasoned breadsticks and mini pepperoni rolls, I believe with a nice seasoned olive oil. Very tasty start to even better courses. Next was a simple salad with tomato, cucumber, red onion, cheese, olives.. basic but nicely dressed and very yummy. Next course was a bowl of penne with vodka sauce. It was really fresh and the pasta was cooked al dente. The only suggestion is a little more salt.. kinda bland in that area, but didn't hurt the quality.
