As always the food was world class. We have been coming here a few times a year and the food is always great. We started with the Fire Calamari. It's got a bit of heat to it but not so much that a person who had spicy issues wouldn't eat it. There was also a generous portion that the four of us had plenty for all. We also tried The Boy's Favorite which is a couple of meatballs and sausage smothered in sauce and mozzarella. This is another app that we have had before and rarely do we not have it. And again plenty for the four of us to share. For my meal I had the Shrimp Alfredo which was Alfredo sauce with onions, peas, prosciutto and the Alfredo sauce. And there could be no complaints on the lack of any of the ingredients as there was plenty of shrimp and prosciutto. After having the appetizers I still left with enough of my meal for probably 3 lunches. The others had great meals some of which they had in the past. My only issue was the service and time to get the food. While we placed the order for apps and the meal at the same time it took 45 minutes for the meals to come out. The apps came out in a fair amount of time, but three tables that ordered after we had our apps, had their meals come out 5-10 minutes before ours. We had a one year old with us and the anxiety to not cause others an issue was at the top of our thoughts. I'm going to attribute this one bad night and will return because the foods so good. But I pray the delivery time is better as our waitress kept telling us the foods almost there and I actually felt bad for her. read more

There is a large parking lot, so you do not have to worry about parking. The staff was great -- super friendly and helpful. There is also a large seating area, so it's a good place to bring big parties. I got the chicken sandwich, and I have to say the chicken was like rubber -- very chewy. I came here with my kids for dinner and it went downhill fast. Our server made things awkward and embarrassing when I asked about onions. I've had an onion intolerance my whole life, so I always check before ordering. This restaurant lists ingredients but (like many Italian spots) doesn't mention onions. When I asked, the server dragged it out with unnecessary questions instead of giving a clear answer: "no onions, no problem" or "the sauce has onions--let me suggest something else." Neither happened, and the dish still arrived with onions. For guests with allergies or intolerances, that's not just inconvenient -- it's irresponsible, and dangerous! Let me start by saying the food is good, but the service is awful. Entres came before appetizers, all was rushed, prices on the menu was 4 and 5 dollars less than what they charged and when I asked the waitress she said the menus are older... probably. horrific ...started out with my reservation..inreserved an outdoor seating and was told " oh I don't know if we have a table there" . so why was my reservation confirmed?we did get the last table.. took some time to have someone get to the table..service was poor the entire night . the pasta fagoli was served without beans and the manager insisted it was fagioli .when we tried to explain that fagoili means beans and this was a minestrone, he took it to the kitchen and threw beans in ..unexceptable.. the fish oreganata was served with a boiled glob of pasta which was on TOP of a lemon wine sauce . on top of that was a dry unseasoned piece of steamed fish with a slice of tomato sprinkled wth toasted seasoned bread crumbs...inedible . the person who ordered the veal Milanese reqjested some oil and balsamic as the dish was dry.. after 20 minutes and 3 requests it came and the food was now cold.. dealing with the server who claimed he was the manager was another ordeal..apparently in his training he was taug how to with an unsatisfied customer..he argumentat and insulting.. they eventually took off the food did not eat.. and in my seventy years of dining the only tip I could offer was to get and chef and enroll in a customer service course. read more

Food was good but worst service of any restaurant I've been too in my entire life. We arrived with a 6pm reservation and weren't seated for 40 minutes. We received bread and then nothing else including water for another 25 minutes. It total we we're there for almost 3 hours m. They close at 8 pm and our food arrived 30 minutes before closing. We were never offered desert and felt rushed to leave as the approached closing time. They also gave our table of 6 2 wine glasses say that they were out of wine glasses. I suggest you bring your own glasses and wine opener. Hostess was also rude about our reservation and no apology offered. If you don't want to experience the same go after 7 so you will receive food in less than an hour as they move faster close to closing. Came here for a girls night. I literally live 2 mins away from here for the last 5yrs and never got to come here till tonight.. Just an FYI - we came here in a Wednesday around 6pm and it was ridiculously packed!!! Grace, who works at the front advised us to come after 7 so there is no wait time. So, instead of going through it. We decided to take on the special which a 3 course dinner for 15 bucks! First off , you are served bread with olive oil - this was great and I love the addition of chopped olives in the oil! I order the salad, chicken parm, and cannoli. Our waitress was nice and got our orders to us fast. I wish she took our previous dishes away before serving us our different courses. I also wish she refilled our waters instead of us having to ask. As for our food, the salad tasted great, and fresh. The chicken parm was very good! The sauce had a lot of flavor and the chicken was cheesy and juicy! The cannoli was nice and crispy, and it tasted fresh. It wasn' t too sweet either, which I appreciate. Solo Bella is BYOB, we totally forgot to bring our own bottle! Also, bring cash! We've been going to Solo Bella for close to 20 years and their food is always on point. We will typically order a nice salad, the boys favorite, broccoli rabe and sausage or chicken, chicken Milanese, spaghetti pomodoro and/or clams and none of them disappoint. Great for large family parties, since it also serves one of the best pizzas, great for young diners, and the daily specials have always wowed me every time I visit. I don't know what has happened to the food. I ordered online. The food was awful. pasta pomodore had ziti with very little sauce and a lot of chopped tomatoes on top. No flavor. They started with salad, pepperoni bread and pizza squares then on to vodka pasta with peas. Then we got our choice of chicken Parm, eggplant Parm or Sole Francaise. The olive oil is immersed with olives giving it a unique touch. The spinach artichoke dip is the freshest I've ever had - so light not like others; I could literally eat this dip alone as a main course. If you haven't gotten the gist of my post at this point idk guys - bottom line the food is amazing. The ambiance is homely and loving and the service is phenomenal. Everyone enjoyed our meal, service was good but our server would not give us separate checks,which I do not understand. In Florida it's never a problem for getting separate checks when you eat out at a restaurant. Here the other night our server told us she could only do 2 checks,not three. We also felt like we were being rushed to leave and we weren't there very long. In this day and age, people don't want to have to split bill when 5 people are involved. Food was as good as I remembered!! As I ate my meal, I was watching my favorite movie, and did not want to be interrupted to get up for salt and pepper. To my surprise, everything was well seasoned and didn't need anything extra! Not even parmesan cheese! You can really taste the tomato flavor in their sauce and all of the extra ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Portions are large, and you get more than your money's worth. So we visited Solo Bella for much needed dinner date. I been coming to this location for many years and you must know 2 things about this place. It's very loud. There are a lot of big parties. Make sure if you are just 2 or 3 people to make a reservation. I always enjoy the fresh bread with oil. We ordered there special salad. I love the saltiness to the dressing. Our main meals came from the specials. These specials seem to be the same ones from months ago because I ordered the same thing. The steak comes with thick bacon, mushrooms and a barbecue sauce. I asked for medium rare and when I cut in the thickest part, white lines in the steak. So rare. They had to take it back and when I cut it again, it was perfect. The flavor and the taste is very good. I enjoy the meal. My wife's meal was a lobster bisque sauce with seafood and pasta. She enjoyed it and having a soup as a sauce is a nice idea. Overall, I enjoyed Solo Bella but it's not a location I will go to every month. If you want the pizza, just order out. Try to request the small room for a small party. Also, order your steak medium. Came to celebrate husband's birthday along with my sister. My sister ordered the crab cakes from the 'SPECIAL MENU'. 2 large crab cakes were served on a plate with a drizzle of aioli sauce. They entirely consisted of filler. No noticeable signs of crab meat or even a tiny side vegetable or lettuce/tomato with it. Very disappointing. Perhaps a poor choice at an Italian restaurant. Wow wow!! I was hesitant because of the reviews but we went there for my moms birthday and everything was delicious!! The margarita Pizza was amazing!! The rice balls which was on the specials was DELICIOUS!! My stand out dish was the penne vodka!! YUMMMMMM. We also got the fettuccini Alfredo, and eggplant parmigiana. Everyone loved everything!
