The back-end is a pallet jungle featuring skyscrapers of cola, stewed tomatoes and angel hair pasta making the space largely unnavigable. Adding insult, the front-end is a deranged hedgerow of sheets, beach balls and pressure cookers forcing me to run the gauntlet when all I want to do is pay. Three stars for an excellent selection of prepared foods, strong supply chains during the pandemic and the usual demerits for uniformly lousy produce and severe pricing on center aisle staples. ShopRite is everywhere in New Jersey and like an infestation of bad tattoos at the shore, impossible to avoid - even though I'd love to.

Several times I have had to return produce that is within date, because it started to rot within a day of getting it home. Meat quality as gone down too. I've purchased meat that was rancid when opened and also purchased (and returned) meat that I realized was out of date when I bought it. It's the job of the store to keep items in fresh rotation. The woman at customer service told me she no longer buys anything other than packaged goods at the store - and she works there! It's worth the drive to Wegmans for produce. Sadly, nothing will change. These reviews are falling on def ears.

I absolutely love this grocery store, it's clean, fresh smelling and the produce section has…read moreeverything I need to keep my family healthy. Every person that works here has been nothing but nice, helpful and great customer service. I found Aisle 9- through word of mouth from some ladies I know where I work. I had been complaining that the fruit I was getting at a local market was really subpar. They insisted I give Aisle 9 a try and went on and raved about it- they do their weekly shopping here because it is very close to where they live, I asked about the produce and if they had a bakery, and they they said they cakes and pastries were really good, so more about the bakery later. They have a deli that really is amazing with ready meals, they have some of the best stuffed cabbage rolls from a deli, that I have ever had in my life! and I have eaten a lot of cabbage rolls in my life. They also have a paper products, party section, and I bought the most beautiful plastic wine glasses for a picnic, that I was taking my Hubby to for our Anniversary. So I I started shopping here back in December, the produce is fantastic and they have fresh figs, not that dried figs are not good, they are, but fresh is always better. I really like the fresh fruit cups for lunch time, they are the perfect size. During the summer months fresh cut fruit trays are a must and they have plenty of variety here, but in winter months when fruit is more expensive and hard to get, they have beautiful displays and reasonable pricing, which in these hard time, that speaks volumes to a budget. So let's talk bakery.. they have some of the most beautiful specialty cakes, they are little bit pricey, but for the quality and taste, I cannot complain nothing is wasted my family loves them. I really like the Challah bread here, I often buy mine closer to home, Rte 9, but I tend to get there late sometimes and miss out. Deli section has the usual cold cuts I think again quality reigns supreme. I just look at the weekly update online and gage my menu for the week. They have the usual pickles and olives and my MINI-ME is all about pickles, it would a horrific day, if she went to the fridge and couldn't find her favorite pickles, so there is that. They also have sushi, but I have not tried as of yet. Keep in mind, the store does get very busy and keep hours- so choose your shopping time wisely: Sunday 7:00 AM - 12:00 AM Monday 7:00 AM - 12:00 AM Tuesday 7:00 AM - 12:00 AM Wednesday 7:00 AM - 12:00 AM Thursday 7:00 AM - 12:00 AM Friday 7:00 AM - 1 hour before Shabbos Saturday 30 minutes after zman - 12:00 AM

When I call back he says turns out we don't need anyone for that position and hangs up again. Unprofessional my interview never happened. Piece of garbage.

Produce sections has really gone south so to speak. ALso, this whole new section for cosmetics and stuff- when I need to buy anything in that section, I also have to pay for it before I can continue on my way to other parts of the store!! and hold on to that precious receipt. Look I get it costs are high everywhere, but this is getting ridiculous and the inventory is lacking and when they are restocking- why are the pallets in the walkways? the aisles, everywhere, its like massive u-turns every where I am heading, I cannot be the only one feeling this way. The genius monitoring the area wouldn't let anyone use the completely empty lane reserved for their Sparks Delivery Drivers who apparently shop for you and deliver (and put away) your food purchases inside your home. I love employees with zero autonomy and less common sense. Keep it up Walmart. One sparkless star.

During an unplanned supermarket visit in Texas, former Russian President Boris Yeltsin was left speechless by the variety and bounty enjoyed by the average Texan as a given. Although ACME isn't exactly my favorite store, it's hard to complain when you walk out with basically what you came in for. You can quibble about the quality of their meats and produce but in a direct comparison to the run of the mill Moscow market, ACME would win just by showing up. Ask Boris, he knows supermarkets. Five stars for never taking them for granted.
