Your food will not be ready in the 10 mins they tell you. Or order 30 mins in advance if you need to grab and go. I've ordered ahead several times and still waited as if I had just walked in. This time I swear the ticket wasn't even printed until I came in and paid. I get it they are busy. Hiring more workers may not be an option to keep up with demand. Exactly the way I asked for it to be prepared. The bagels and sandwiches are good and the staff has been friendly each time I've come. I might just be spoiled by the bagel spot in my previous hometown, but I'd say this place is "good enough." The prices feel pretty high, but admittedly I can't say I've gone elsewhere to actually compare. I prefer Bagel Bazaar to the other bagel places in Jackson so far. read more

Bagel spots in nj are very common since bagels are a NJ staple. Bagel Bazaar does a nice job of delivering on a quality product even though there is plenty of competition around. They have soft bagels here that are made fresh. The blueberry is my favorite and with a little cream cheese it makes it even better. The sesame one was also nicely done. BAHAHAHA! What a joke, The new owner is worse then the last three! I told myself, I will not go back to this place, 1st we were over charged and both our sandwiches were missing cheese, Aaron did not refund us but we did get our sandwiches replaced. So ok fair enough. I understand things happen from time to time, so we have been giving them a couple more chance, at least THREE 3 times now I have come in to get my coffee and sandwiches before work, and the place is a mess, the cook is not even in so I end up late to work! And they are short staffed! What is going on? After, my LAST and FINAL time here, I found a hair in my sandwich, I brought it to the attention of Mr. Patel Who said There is nothing he can do about it, the grill is off (as if I would want another sandwich) and The cook had to leave early, WHAT? Have been trying to give this spot multiple chances to be good, due to it being close and convenient,but am most certainly disappointed and dissatisfied every time. Don't bother ordering a PEC, standard is two thin and skimpy slices. Ordered extra pork roll to combat this but they forgot to put it on, another time they forgot to put egg on the sandwich. Either way have to drive all the way back each time. Unless you're getting a cream cheese bagel don't bother. Nothing honestly beats a good bagel. Native to New Jersey I love finding new places when I come home. Tiny little shop nestled in a shopping center. Service was quick and everyone was polite. My bagel was good, I ordered the garlic bagel. The only thing that really annoyed me was that there was GIANT glob of butter on mine. They just have used half a tub because when I took it out of the bag, I just dropped everywhere. Stained my pants, coat, and seats. But oh well. But today I ordered a bakers dozen and buttered up an egg everything when I got home and what was usually a crisp, easy to chew treat was now a gummy, chewy bagel. I couldn't swallow the chewy dough. I look forward getting back into Jackson for arguably the best bagels in the shore, HOWEVER, relax B.E. with your pricing. It was lunch time and I wanted a chicken salad sandwich on a plain bagel. No drink, no sides, nothing but the chicken salad on a bagel. $8 bucks....Really? They have a cheeseburger with all the toppings for less. I said something to the cashier and he said "nope that's what it costs." As a review if of the food, bagel was good, I definitely had better (mayo and cold chicken) aka chicken salad though...and for 8 bucks, I shouldn't be saying that. Came here for my lunch break for a bacon egg & cheese on a bagel and a warmed bagel with butter. I was welcomed by a big sweaty man who had arms as hairy as a gorilla and did NOT use gloves to handle any of the food I ordered. I asked for my buttered bagel to be warmed 3 times and he still gave it to me with cold chunks of butter on it. My BACON egg & cheese did not have any bacon on it?? I did not have time to even go back since I only have a 1/2 hour lunch break and had to drive 10 minutes to get there and 10 minutes back. This place used to be good but their new system is terrible, instead of just grabbing a bag turning around and putting the bagels that are right behind the register into the bag as you make your selections u tell a cashier who puts each individual bagel into the computer than takes that receipt puts the receipt on and order line where another person takes the receipt and fills the bag. Mind you there's another register taking orders and the receipts are just put onto the line in no particular order. Waited 10 minutes for a dozen bagels and finally had to say something as they ran out of the bagel I ordered because an order that was taken after mine got the bagels that were there when I ordered. The bagels aren't bad, they're not great, but the service is terrible. Not the first time it's happened there, was the only person in early Christmas Eve morning no one behind me and they still managed to screw up the order of 2 dozen bagels. Just grab a bag and put the bagels in as they are picked. Will not be going back here, Bagel king is further away but worth the trip. read more

I've been a customer here since they first opened, they've always been consistent with everything. I've never had a bad bagel or experience here at all. Their bagels are always, always fresh! Flavored bagels are full of toppings or flavoring, whatever it is from everything to chocolate chip. Always cooked to perfection, never half burnt or raw on one side like I've seen at many other places. Breakfast sandwiches are delicious, definitely a great portion for the price, they make sure you get your money's worth. Regular cream cheese and flavored ones are tasty, full of toppings and everything you'd expect. The breakfast pastries and muffins are delicious as well. Lunch menu is great as well, they have a decent variety of lunch sandwiches and little platters you can choose from. The prices are great, especially their bagels and cream cheese package. The owners and employees are some of the nicest people around, always a pleasure going in there. Overall I highly recommend giving them your business.
