Never thought wed get a valid food spot in jackson thats not a franchise but this place got it right. This is as close as youll get to a spot up north and it doesnt disappoint. Don't blink or you'll miss it but Jackson's Bagel Run offers superb bagels that can stand on their own, with a schmear or any combination of mouth watering breakfast and lunch sandwiches you'd care to place between their delectable dough. Both firm and chewy, these handmade creations are spectacular fresh but also make excellent freezer stock. We don't pass by much anymore but when we do Bagel Run is a must-stop destination. Visited Bagel run had a Reuben without reading because where I come from it means corn beef however it was pastrami that was greasy the bread was not toasted enough saturated in Russian dressing. It was not worth the wait and asking them to clean the table and make another pot of decaf coffee really should not be. Will go somewhere else to spend 15 dollars. read more

I was new to the area and decided to give this bagel place a try. The staff was friendly, and thankfully I didn't come at a busy time which was good. The place looked well kept and clean. I got a dozen bagels all of which are basic bagels. I can honestly say the bagels were good but they weren't as fluffy and soft as I was hoping for . The price was average for a bakers dozen so not to pricey. The bagels weren't bad and I'd definitely recommend coming here but I definitely wouldn't come out of my way to come here. read more

It's an okay place. Very inconsistent. Depending on who is working the service can be anywhere from awesome to horrible. The omelets are pretty good and the portions are generous. Great service, the bagels are not hard but soft and the texture is perfect. everything bagel, toasted with extra butter is soo good. This place was fantastic! Showed up at 12:30 PM and the bagels were low as they should be for a good bagel place that late in the day. People continually asking for bagels after being told that certain bagels weren't available and yet the people behind the counter were patient and friendly the whole time. I was relatively new to the area and this place popped up on my breakfast searches. I thought I'd try it out since you can't really mess up a bagel. Right ? And they certainly did not disappoint. I got the Erica eggwich on an everything bagel and omg SOOOO GOOOD!! probably the best bagel sandwich I've ever had. And it's not a tiny one either. It will keep you full for a while. When I open up the sandwich I'm looking for the pork roll and the eggs? There was one slice of Prokroll. One slice?!?!?! Maybe one egg. Absolutely the best bagels and anything/everything bagel-centric. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of even the simplest 'plain' bagel. A lot of variety - from what I've tried so far you will not be disappointed. Looking forward to trying something I haven't tried yet from the menu soon, but nice to know I can just get great quality simple bagel with plain cream cheese when desired. A must try. Walking in was very welcoming. The place was full of life and clean. Apparently there is a lot of room for you if you want to dine in as well. Me and my fiancée took ours to go. We ordered at the counter. The guy who took our order was friendly throughout our time here. The prices were fair. 2 breakfast sandwiches for under 10 dollars is a win in my book.
