Been coming to this jersey Mike's for awhile now. But love eating their salad bowls. I always ordered the ham, provolone cheese, and prosciutto the number 2. But today I wanted to try the chicken salad bowl. Well it was good the chicken was just like a tuna salad mayonnaise and diced celery and blk pepper. You can create your own bowl. Add wine vinegar to the lettuce, spices, tomatoes, banana peppers etc. I opted for just the chicken salad , tomatoes and lettuce no dressing since I got homemade dressing at home. Order on line through door dash was ready when you specified the time of pick up. Came home and it was delicious. Will try another topping on another salad bowl soon. read more

The sandwiches are generally good. Meat portions are generally skimpy - wish looked like the photos. There is a good variety of toppings. Why not 4*? Generally order via the app. The orders are usually 15 mins late - after the time stated in the app. Annoying to arrive on time & forced to wait longer for the order. It was my very first time having Jersey Mike's Subs on Oahu, but I had Jersey Mike's a few times on Maui....... I was working at Kahala Mall, and since Jersey Mike's was just a hop, skip, & jump away from the Bank of Hawaii, I decided to pop on in for a sandwich. Besides the standard cold subs, Jersey Mike's also does hot sandwiches - like the "Big Kahuna Chicken" Cheese Steak sandwich which I ordered. Never mind da vegetables, it's all about da MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAT, and throw in a few peppers, mushrooms, & cheese baby! To top off my sandwich DEALAGES, Jersey Mike's Sub sent me a promo coupon, where I was able to get a free sandwich when I ordered a sandwich! MAHALO! Can we say DEALAGES Yo!!!! Lol!!! A very meaty sandwich, with minimum fillers........das da way us men like our MAN Sandwiches, or shouldI say "Manwich"!!! Buwahahahahahahaha! Service here was on point...........fast & efficient. I love sandwiches... Something about putting all your favorites between bread to enjoy especially on a hot summer afternoon nothing that a hot plate lunch can cure though I was in the Kahala Mall area I just didn't want to fight for parking and lines and though that this 4618 Kahala location which is just beside the mall where there's a bunch of shops and always parking available would be the perfect place for some lunch. Walking in is nice as the shop is nice and clean though you start at the back to order your sandwich and since I wanted to make it Mike's Way which is to add the lettuce and tomatoes it's only available for cold sandwiches...Jersey Shore's Favorite was it. Topped with Provolone, Ham & Cappacuolo they slice each item to order so you do feel the freshness to which you move on to the toppings and Mike's Way is shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, sliced onions and juice or the dressing, it's all loaded and wrapped to go. The shop is nice and clean with a few seatings most are high tops as the lower regular seating area labeled for disable so I decided to take my sandwich outside where there's are lots of shaded seating. Service is nice but pretty basic but I enjoyed my sandwich that got quite pricey as I didn't say though they didn't ask what size which I will remember the next time. Thank you! read more

Came in around 8:30. Every table was dirty. I asked if someone could wipe down a table for me. This confused everyone in the store on what to do or how to do it. I found a table that was the least dirty and so I said, oh hey, don't worry about it so they kept doing what they were doing and didn't bother to clean any of the other tables. She asked me if I wanted it Mikes way and I said do you mean wet (like with the vinegar and oil) , and she said what and this went on for about a minute, wet?, what, wet?, what. It took quite some time to get my food. It was good not great and the sandwich was dry after all with very little dressing. I left a one dollar tip to be nice. At 8:55 they told me they were closed and kicked me out so I finished my sandwhich outside. I also didn't see the meat slicer working and she was busy cleaning it when I walked in, I don't really care about that but that was different, from all other JM experiences. I think since they went all corporate since Jersey Mikes was sold things have gone downhill. Sad. there is something less authentic about the bread. Seems like less meat. Seems like the staff is not what it used to be. I don't care if people are over the top friendly but a little customer service, listening and follow through go a long way. read more

My favorite sub place here in Honolulu! Mike's Way really is the way! I love everything I've tried here and the portions are huge. My favorite is the club supreme which comes with turkey, roast beef and bacon! So flavorful. The staff are super friendly and even when I forgot my purse there and called a few minutes later they had already grabbed it and put it in the safe for me! I love the choice of indoor and outdoor seating at this location right next to Kahala mall. The sizes are very generous and I can split a giant with the family! Even the mini is very filling. Well worth the money. Can't wait to go back and try more. read more

I've heard for a couple years they were going to open one in Kailua, Hi but haven't. And the one in Hawaii Kai closed recently also so I now have to work harder to satisfy my craving. Walked in, no line but about 4 other people wiaiting on their sandwich. 3 employees working and see me standing waiting to get my order taken but not one of them greet me nor say, "be with you in a sec". Made eye contact with others patrons in the room. Not one of them looked surprised. From the looks of it they've also been waiting. After a few awkward minutes of standing around I left. She never said another word, proceeded to ignore me for 10 minutes while I stood there. Finally got the attention of another clerk, who asked her what was going on. She was too lazy to come over and talk to me, but shouted something about a "rack". I finally found out that app orders are put on a shelf at the back of the store. By far the best sub shop in the Kahala area. I have been to them all in Kahala, and this is the only one that gives substantial portions of meat in the sandwich. The quality is the best. The bread is very good quality compared to the others. It is like going to a supermarket deli, only that at Mike's the quality stands out, and it is very sanitary! I love the hot Philly Steak Sandwiches, and their cold cut sandwiches are excellent! The deli meats are all shown in a refrigerated display case for choice. read more

They weren't busy, but there was a very difficult customer before me. The staff handle her very well, never showing frustration, just completed all of her ridiculous request. Cred's for that. Got there at opening time, 10am, due to difficult customer, I didn't get my order until 1025am. I don't blame the restaurant for this, they were dealing with the difficult customer. Jersey Mike's is my favorite sub sandwich chain that we have in HI. I thought it would be a newer one that's also in Kahala, but Mike's is more consistent, faster, cheaper, and imo tastier. The service could always be quicker, but they cut all of the meats to order, so I can't expect much faster. Store is clean and staff are always friendly. Avoid rushes if you can as orders stack up quick. I like the mobile order option and even curbside if I'm in a bind. read more

Visited this Kahala location for the first time yesterday (11/17) and we were pleasantly surprised. The store wasn't very busy at the time went so we received prompt attention. There were 2 males and 1 female working. We had a lot of questions and they all answered us very knowledgeably. I got the regular Veggie sub and my husband got the Chipotle Philly cheesesteak sub.... Jersey mike's was my go to sandwich shop in South Carolina. I am so glad they have a couple here on Oahu! My favorite is the turkey with provolone on white, mikes way with mayo. Simple, fresh, and flavorful. Yes there are probably some really amazing sandwiches, but Jersey Mike's give you a great sandwich in the most convenient way possible. Lines aren't usually long and they make them pretty quick unless you are getting a hot sandwich. My favorite part is ordering online ahead of time and just running in, grabbing my order, and going. Plus, their shore points really help me out when I get enough points for a free sub. Their prices are a bit high but the freshly sliced meats are amazingly thin and flavorful. And the giant subs I can usually split into two meals. read more

My husband & I come here whenever we're in the area. We always received great service. We were here during the lunch rush. Line was long. Jaden was the young man who took care of us today. I asked Jaden if the ham is fatty today? He shaved 1 slice to show me, and the ham was perfect. I got the ham & provolone. My husband got the famous Philly cheesesteak. Usually the food is good but I ordered 2 Giant 56s aka the Big Kahuna. One w/out jala and the other add banana peppers. Both with Chipotle sauce. So when we got home and was about to start eating my wife realized that they forgot the jala and banana peppers in her sandwich. So I ran drove back and i thought they would have remade it since I paid 40 dollars for 2 cold sandwiches but no they just added the veggies into one and gave it back. The store is clean and the Workers are pretty friendly went in on a whim before going to the beach, I ordered the number 4 Mike's way which was pretty tasty. (side note if you like spice you can ask for cherry pepper relish which has a nice kick) As I was waiting in line while my sandwich was being made the guy making my sandwich asked me how my day was going and made small talk with me about going to the beach. Order food from a delivery service. I am able to select all ingredients that I wanted (bread, veggies etc) just like I would be able to in person. SEVEN items I selected they di NOT put in my sandwich including the type of bread was wrong!!!!! Seriously that many items they missed?! Missing 2 or 2 items, but 7 items is just wrong. I have been to this location a few times. Went in with my sister and ordered 2 sandwiches. The door was wide open, and flies were inside the condiment bar. The whole sandwich-making area was filthy dirty I told the guy making the sandwiches my concern, to no comment! I asked another guy if he was the manager. I told him my concern that the place was filthy. He said he was not the manager; he was there to help out. He, at that point, walked over and pointed at all the filth on the counters, telling the guy to clean up. The sandwich maker had gloves on, yet was working the cash machine and would go back to making the sandwiches without changing to new gloves. 5 people were working at the time.
