Chiliquilias and omelette
Darryl N.

Breakfast and Brunches are best here and busy, especially on the weekends. This Jerry Bob's has a Mexican focus and lots of the standard American options. Came with a group of four, There was a small 20 minute wait. Hint: There is very limited seats for waiting. You can park out front but is tight, better option is parking in the back, more room and there is a back entrance. NO Handicap Parking, you have to do your best and the best option is in the back. Seating is table and both inside, no outside seating. Staff were great and friendly. Food was good and tasted great. Prices are reasonable. Not fancy, it is cafe style. No fancy drinks, just the basics. Portios were good. No issues splitting the check. I'd recommend trying the Mexican items, but American fair was great.

Veggie Omelet, fresh and delicious!
Leslie J.

Great breakfast! Saturday morning and they were slammed! We were still seated quickly and our food came out fast! The largest veggie omelet I r ever seen! Great variety of vegetables, cooked al dente, so delicious! My hubby had the basic breakfast and everything was to his liking, clean plate club! Coffee is hot and strong!

Pork chops and eggs

This place is always hopping and I can see why! Breakfast is great, anything from bacon and eggs to menudo. I had the pork chops and eggs, cooked to perfection! The staff is always friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

Breakfast tacos / special order

Visiting and decided to give this a try because of reviews. Did not disappoint. We were seated right away, but got there in time. There was a line a little later starting around 10:30am on a week day. The wait staff was wonderful and quick. They were accommodating as well with creating breakfast tacos for me. We also had a waffle which was cooked good. Menu is pretty diversified for breakfast and lunch. They have both booths and tables.

Menudo was fantastic!

We had quite a wait, but it was worth it. The food was delicious and the service was great! I had their menudo and it was fantastic.

Swiss and mushroom omelette
Joey C.

Service was poor. Twenty minute wait time was okay for a table busy during lunch. Then half hour for coffee and food after being seated. Burnt the toast, how do you burn toast? Huevos rancheros was like a toilet filled with a menstrual attack and a box of salt. Swiss and mushroom omelette was completely bland. Who are all these people waiting in line and giving this place such high marks? I don't understand.

Enchiladas
Caitlin M.

I found this place on Yelp during my time in Tucson due to its amazing reviews. The place was very busy, but my service was still pretty quick. I got the chicken enchiladas, and they were very flavorful and filling. The ambiance was like an old school diner. I would definitely support this business again if I were to visit Tucson soon!

Chicken Fried Steak, eggs, grits and toast.

As I mentioned in my original review, I did quickly return to try the aforementioned Chicken Fried Steak. As I suspected from observing it on the original visit, it was amazing. It was huge, thin and crispy as well as covered in a delicious white gravy. I had grits as an included side along with toast and wasn't able to finish the whole meal-and I tried! This is a treasure of a restaurant near the airport. Highly recommended!

Food was good and waitress very friendly. However, service was extremely slow! Orders sat for 5 minutes before going out. Disappointed.

Best breakfast near the airport, hands down. Waitresses were great and fun to talk to. I'll stop by again next time in Tucson.

It was a perfect place to meet someone who had just flown in to TIA. It's a short drive over from the airport with lots of comfortable booths, and plenty of free parking. Our server Justin, was awesome - super friendly, and understood from the get-go that we would be hanging out for a few hours, waiting for someone else's flight to arrive. The food and drink selections were plentiful, and the place went from being relatively quiet to hopping with customers of all ages, to quiet again. Justin handled all the tables, making sure to check on us, too. Before we left, we complimented his ability to multitask with such an upbeat attitude - always smiling - which added to how much we enjoyed our experience. We ordered the hummus plate, the salmon entree, and the apple pecan salad and all were delicious. Definitely a great place to consider for a meal when picking up hungry travelers, or for a satisfying meal when arriving to Tucson hungry with no idea where to find decent options. ¡Gracias, Justin, and SOL!

Chips, salsa, Guacamole and SOL tacos should take no more than 10-15 minutes. Asking to top off waters was a real test of skills. Salsa is spicy. Don't say you weren't warned. I thought it was good but my friend, not so much. She said the Guacamole was also spicy. The beef on the tacos was crunchy. That was a first. Interesting clientele... I suppose because we're by an airport, in a hotel, that all those things play a big part. Food - mediocre. Ambience - it's a bar/restaurant, not much more to say. Service - well I'll say the place appears to be understaffed.

It's only halfway through 2026, but I already know this will make my Top 5 restaurants of the year…read more It brings me such joy to happily pay for food that truly deserves its price tag - and I'd gladly pay more. So many higher-end expensive restaurants serve bland, tasteless food, meanwhile this amazing mid-ranged restaurant is serving some of the best dishes I've ever had. The smashed chicken was probably the best chicken dish I have ever had at a restaurant. The skin was perfectly crispy while the meat was juicy and well-seasoned. The ginger and herb salsa verde was so fresh and aromatic. The cilantro rice complimented the lemongrass aioli perfectly. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and I'm usually one to reach for the salt shaker at most restaurants. Smoked olives are a concept I have never considered before. It's a concept that was executed perfectly here. So savory, flavorful, and complex. I'd love to have a few with a dirty martini. Speaking of drinks, my Casino gin cocktail was great. Perfect level of sweetness and tartness. I knew I had to order dessert after how good everything else was, even though I am usually not a dessert person. The oolong tea cake was nothing short of incredible. The tea flavor was subtle but paired well with the fluffy and light honey buttercream. Not too sweet at all. Of course, the service was great too. Our waiter was very attentive and personable. My first experience at 5 points made me realize that this is what restaurants should strive to be. I can tell there is passion poured into every dish with every ingredient thoughtfully melded together. I can't wait to bring everyone I know here so they can experience this too!!

The drink menu is extensive- everyone loved what they ordered, and there were several other things we wanted too! The shrubs and Coca Cola with espresso were the favorite picks. My main course of kale Caesar salad was amazing, and the portion was so generous I had lunch for two days! Everyone else raved about their food. The service was so friendly and helpful. The location was spacious and airy. Highly recommend you check it out!

We needed a little more time to choose the right beer. My partner wanted a pilsner, but unfortunately they didn't have one available at the time, so we went with their famous Barrio Blonde. I've had Barrio Blonde on many occasions at other places, but this one tasted unusually bitter and a bit flat. It seemed like the beer may have gotten warm at some point and was later cooled again, affecting the flavor. We were hungry, so we ordered the patty melt. The burger was good, with a flavorful patty and perfectly toasted bread. The bathrooms were also very clean, which is always appreciated. Overall, service was friendly and attentive, but the beer quality this visit was disappointing.
