Although a bit pricey , it's really worth it because the pedicure includes a lot of other places . You could get a mani pedi for 25 bucks at other places , but you also won't get the great service that they provide at this nail salon . Which is why , when it comes down to it , the price is very resonance for what they include . The owner also offers you drinks and brings it to you . Everyone is so so so nice there . I use my feet a lot because I work in retail so getting a pedicure is a very important thing to me so I don't mind the $$ Okay so I came in here and from what I read I expected my visit to be expensive. I got a pedicure and manicure. When I came in I was greeted by the owner. She was very warm and friendly. I then I sat down. The chair is very comfortable! The massager is amazing! I wanted to fall asleep! I forgot who did my toes, I believe it was Maria but it was a older women. Her hands are amazing! She asked me what type of oil I wanted and they gave me the option of citrus or lavender and I chose lavender. It felt so good. They also had very relaxing music on, it made me feel like I was in an actual spa. They massaged me with honey! I've never been to a place that massaged me with honey! It was the best feeling ever! My legs and feet were so hydrated! The women that I had was so good with her hands but I've noticed that all of them do the same thing so they were all really good. As for my manicure I really like it! They were so perfect and I love the shape they gave me! I actually messed up my ring finger and they did not judge me or anything when I asked the women if she could please fix it. I paid $50 for a manicure and pedicure. I get gel manicures done pretty frequently (prior to COVID). Usually my gel manicures last at the minimum 4 weeks with no chips. I had a chip the next day after my manicure and now I am 11 days out and 6 of my nails have chipped polish and another 2 are on their way to chipping. They did not brush the polish along the tip of the nail like most places and this is the only thing I can guess is the cause for my chipped polish. This is the worst manicure I have had in a long time, especially for the price. They tell you the price and then add more money for doing different nails different colors but do not tell you they will do this. However, I figured an expensive gel manicure means it will be even better than my usual ones (which are $10 cheaper). However, this was sadly not the case. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I came in because it is close to my work and had good reviews (no idea how). I came in to have my gel extensions removed and explained to both the owner and my nail tech that they have to use a nail drill and hand file and cannot soak them in remover (because they won't come off that way). Any experienced nail technician or salon owner should know this themselves!!! They both ignored me and made me soak my nails, afterwards used a nail dill. Which is completely wrong!! I was there for almost an hour and I left before they could damage my nails more. ( these pictures show how terrible of a job they did). The owner proceeded to make me pay $25 even though she knew they were done incorrectly AND that my natural nails were ruined. This is the WORST customer service and nail job I have ever had. Stick to a regular manicure if you decide to come here... read more

I just left this salon and had a terrible SNS nail experience. DO NOT COME HERE FOR SNS. Never been here before, but the place was busy in a Sunday so I felt comfortable. Everything was going fine until the nail technician clearly did not feel comfortable doing this process. She tried to use the wrong color (I asked for red, she pulled hot pink out). When it came time to put the top coat on I noticed my nails looked gritty, which made me think she must have done the process wrong. she tried to put some extra top coat and MY NAILS STARTED FOAMING. She tried to hide/remedy the situation but it continued to get worse. She eventually put the UV gel top coat and made me put my hands under the UV light (sns is supposed to avoid this) my nails are uneven, matte, and already flaking. Was introduced to this place by a friend who is very particular about where she gets her toes done. The spa pedicure here are truly amazing. You receive a honey and milk treatment, hot stone massage + a deep massage, a sugar scrub, and a deep clean all for $35. The pedicure takes about 30 minutes which is a great time to sit back and relax. I recommend Veronica. She's a great nail tech. Her foot massages are incredible and she hits all the pressure points. I've been going to this nail salon since I moved to Montclair two years ago, and absolutely love the pedicure I get, no matter who takes care of me. A pedicure is $25 and includes a leg massage, hot stone massage and full nail treatment. The leg-massage is always the best part of my week. Jennifer, the owner, is very friendly and welcoming, as is the entire staff. I've had manicures, pedicures and waxing done here, but am interested in booking a facial. Sometimes I do have to wait, even with an appointment, but it is always worth it. They have late nights on Thursday and are closed on Tuesdays in the summer. They do accept credit cards, but prefer cash for tips (the first time I didn't know but she allowed me to add it to my total). There is no parking lot so you have to find street parking on Bloomfield Ave. which can sometimes be tough. **Updated 12/28/2010 Maybe it's my own damn fault for giving this place such a high rating, but this place is always crowded, and even when I do make an appointment, I still end up waiting at least 20 minutes. Also, I've been unhappy with the pedicures for a while-I feel like once they get you as a regular, they don't give you as long as a massage anymore. Or maybe it just depends on who you get. I went here for a gel manicure for my birthday and it started peeling within 3 days. I went back in person to show them and the salon was full they did not have time to fix it but said they would fix it if I made an appointment for the following monday. I show up to an empty salon that monday expecting to have my manicure re-done. They get to work then they tell me they don't remember me and the manicurist who did the work was not there that day. Since they no longer remembered me they will not fix the bad manicure for free but they will give me a 15% discount on a new one. Forget that! A Gel manicure is supposed to last 10 days, and they should have a record of my appointment! If you have any problems here, make sure its on a busy day so they have someone to save face in front of. read more

Ok, I've made this place my pride and joy since January. But ever since I've been going , the pedicures are great but the drawback is that they ask the same annoying question upon entering "Do you have an appointment?" ... and it's not so much the question, it's HOW they ask it, almost condescending. I've seen women who had an appointment wait for at least 20-30 minutes, so to ask that question the way that they do is a joke but I deal with it because they give the best pedicures I've ever had. So when they ask the question I always say, "no" .....they make me sit for up to 5 min-1hr depending on how busy they are. Anyway, so I walk in on Sunday, 3 hrs before closing. They ask THE question. I said, "No, I don't." I expect to be scolded with "well, you'll have to wait X amount of minutes" which I didn't mind. More power to the women who make appointments with them. Instead of saying that, she said, "I'm sorry we won't be able to take you, we're all booked." .........REALLY?? Three hours before closing.... 4 pedicure chairs free, staff bustling and you're all booked? .... So I said, "Oh really??? well, EXCUSE MEeeeeeee" and she smiled and said, "Sorry". Never seen an establishment turn down a paying customer. You have got to be out your damn mind to do that in Montclair where so many businesses are closing so rapidly. I can't recommend this place enough! The entire staff is friendly and Jennifer, the owner, only hires the best! I've NEVER encountered a bad attitude amongst them. The pedicures are amazing and include more than any $25 pedi in the area- great leg massages, hot stones (a legit hot stone rub too, not just a brush across your legs then put away!), great scrubs, and my nails never come out looking less than perfect. The same goes for the manicures- they both feel and look exquisite. You never feel rushed through an assembly line. Pros : Pedicure Cons: Pricy, rushed, nails didn't last, Pedicures are $35 and with gel manicure I spent $73. Visited this place about two weeks ago on a Thursday. Experience wasn't the worse but wasn't the best! To start the pedicure was amazing however the manicure didn't last but 2 weeks. The person doing my feet was changed near the end to do someone's eyebrows, as the 2nd person was polishing I asked someone to have her stop because she wasn't applying the polish evenly only to be told they would tell her and never did just continued removing my gel manicure and proceeded to send me to the manicure table. Then I went over to get my gel manicure and was rushed by their manicurist to hurry and pick a color because she had to leave I asked that she leave and have someone else do my manicure she insisted she do It, about 20 mins later the owner came over and asked if I mind she finish up because the manicurist has to leave! She noticed I was upset and I explained to her about being rushed & about the polish on my feet being uneven and bumpy she agreed and fixed the polish and apologized. I joined two friends for manis/pedis on a Friday afternoon at Jeeyune. I was only getting a manicure, they were getting both and we all booked appointments. When we arrived, it looked like the 6 women that they have on staff were all occupied and we waited 40 minutes to be seated (as other reviewers mentioned and as my friend mentioned who had been there before, the waiting game is common practice at Jeeyune). Finally they decided to soak my friend's gel nails and they sat the three of us in manicure chairs. One of the manicurists started cutting my nails, and then the owner came and ordered her to go over to my friend because her overgrown cuticles needed her attention. If there's anything I dislike, it's when I go to a nail place and have more than one person working on my nails (it happens more often than you'd think) or have someone pause for a long period of time in between the manicure. Both of these things happened during my experience here. Anyway, I finally had Gladys come and finish up my manicure. She was very sweet and did a pretty good job (I like my nails squared and she made most of them rounded even when I asked) I liked the extras like the fresh aloe and lime scrub. My friends were then transferred to pedicure chairs before their manicures were finished. When it came time for their manicures, one was done right away and the other was left waiting and became very upset. We were there for almost three hours and in that time heard others complaining about waiting. It is very obvious that the owner plays favorites and when one of her loyals walked in for a waxing, she stopped in the middle of handling someone's pink and whites to tend to her. The girl was very upset and said that always happens. Although the result is pretty good, I just can't believe the disregard of people's time that this salon has. I'm a little more on the patient side, but my friends who had plans and one who had her child with a sitter were both pressed for time and really couldn't enjoy themselves. There are countless other salons in Jersey that are bigger, well staffed and get everyone in and out- and usually for much lower prices. read more

It was my first time here and the service was Amazing! And they are open on Sunday till 6pm! I called so many places in my town trying to find an open nail salon but there was none. I had to drive 30 mins to come here, and it was worth it! I think they booked me and someone else for the same time, not sure how they resolved it but after 5 minutes sitting at the manicure table alone, a manicurist came to do my nails. She did a good job. After my nails were painted, they helped me with my jacket, fixed my hair.. Well, I wasn't getting this kind of service at other places, so I was impressed. Everybody seemed nice. They let me stay after closing to dry my nails longer so I don't accidentally ruin my freshly painted nails while getting into my car. I came in recently as a walk-in: I got a parking spot out front, I had nothing to do, I felt like experiencing some pampering. I was really only interested in getting a simple French manicure. I was essentially pressured into one with gel, so there goes the $20 I had wanted to spend. I suppose I could have said no, but there didn't seem to be much room to disagree! I suppose the manicure was good, but I'm certainly no expert. My main objection was that the manicurist pushed my cuticles back when my hands were dry, and it would be significantly easier and less painful if they were warmed up. This made the work seem rushed. I know she was just making small talk, but I could also do without the loud comments on the state of my nails (I never get manicures, ok?) and the size of my hands and fingers (I have unusually small hands and nails- a side effect of surgery- and mine are the same size as the adolescent girls I teach) Both comments made me feel pretty uncomfortable. I didn't seem to experience a lot of the typical things associated with a manicure until AFTER the polish was dry: lime hand scrub (what's even in that?), hot towel, and lotion. I walked out having spent $50 (plus tip). I rationalized it by telling myself that my nails would look good before NYE, but this price is ultimately too steep for me, the occasional nail salon patron. read more

I have been to Jeeyune twice and each time I received a good pedicure, but not a great gel manicure, especially considering the money. I had a similar experience, both times as the Black woman who posted that they offered a beverage to all of their customers while I'm sitting right there thirsty. The second and last time I had to request a drink twice and the manicurist took her time getting me a drink. I have discovered another nail salon within the area. You get a milk and honey wash, a green scrub, a lotion massage as well as a hot stone massage. Excellent place they pay attention to every detail and I personally love it! I get my pedi by Maria and she is FABULOUS! I used to pay $20 for both but this is so worth it and for the #1 package you get a mani, pedi and 15 min massage for $50. I went to Jeeyune for my first time today after planning on going to another salon across the street and finding them booked up. I was with my sister and we both requested pedicures. The place was busy but the owner made sure we got into chairs as soon as possible. Maria, who did my pedicure, gave me an incredible massage, and I really enjoyed their massaging chairs too. My sister was able to get a manicure at the same time as her pedicure (which I declined) and I only had to wait a few minutes for them to finish with her, as we told our technicians we had somewhere we needed to be. I walked in Jeeyune Monday morning and was greeted pleasantly. The place has a relaxing feel to it. I requested a price for a manicure & pedicure and was given the price. A bit pricey but I was willing to give it a go. The pedi was performed by i believe her name was "Hilda". She asked if I wanted somthing to drink as she then preceded to work on my feet. I was relaxed and pleased with the pedicure experience with her. The mani was ok.. I had some grease under a couple of nails on my right hand and it was not really removed and indicated that it was to to deep & should be addressed at home with soap and water.
