Do not ever get in home blinds installed because no one will ever call you back to actually get them installed! They did the measurement just perfectly but once I ordered the blinds and got them delivered to my home and no one will ever bother to call you back so that you can get them installed. I've been waiting five days with no response. Carmen never called me back and so I ended up calling and speaking to Timara the manager who gave me a one 800 number and then... Zack and Ida proceeded to tell me that they do not even know who the installation company is because they are a new company. SEPHORA. Worst experience in a Sephora. Yes, I was asked several times if I needed help which was greatly appreciated but I was just restocking on products I'd ran out of so I declined from any help. However when I went to pay, the woman who helped me check out was so incredibly RUDE. She seemed annoyed the entire time. Annoyed when my phone number didn't work for my beauty insider, annoyed when I asked her if she could put in my email instead, annoyed when I gave her my email. It was just such an uncomfortable experience. When I asked her for samples she told me they didn't have any but they have testers around the store. Um ok? Yes I KNOW THAT. I asked for a sample of a primer with a full face of make up on, why tf would I use a tester to try the primer out. Seriously SO RUDE. She then also forgot to put one of my purchases in my bag, and of course I went back and had someone else help me w that problem. When I was at the counter getting my missing product she goes to check someone out and didn't ask what was wrong or apologize AT ALL, she didn't even acknowledge me. The woman she was helping check out asked for samples and of course she had some FOR HER. She also charged on my receipt "mini make over" which is obviously free for VIB members so it wasn't about money, but she didn't help me at all or give me any extra beauty attention (which is what "mini makeover" is) and I'm sure she got the commission for it. I'm not sure what it was about me this lady did not like, but I will not be returning to this location. Honestly, I never write reviews unless it's a very good or very bad experience. This was above and beyond in every way. Celine(hopefully spelled that right!) was extremely helpful and friendly. THIS IS REGARDING THE SALON HERE AT UNIVERSITY OAKS IN JCP. Whatever you do, DO NOT GO HERE unless you know someone that has got a good haircut from a specific person! One of my friends recommended this place when I asked my friends for a good hair stylist/salon that is semi cheap. IT IS NOT WORTH IT. I booked with Theresea, apparently a master stylist. I had called earlier and made an appointment for 5:30 p.m. When I got there, there was no one to check us in and a lady asked if we had an appointment, which I replied, yes, and she said do you know with who? I said her name is thersea. She replied, "Oh I'm Theresea, I thought I was done after this one" (referring to the lady in her seat.) She made smart comments about, WHO PUT SOMEONE ON MY BOOKS WHILE I WAS AT LUNCH, and APPARENTLY I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT. She tried to pawn me off to another lady who did not know how to speak English, and we barely could understand each other. She double checked to see I had an appointment and it was with Theresa. When she tried to give the paperwork to Theresa, she said, "Why dont you go ahead and take it?" and she told her to take me since she doesn't do walk ins. I replied with I made an appointment and was referred by a friend who said this place was good. I told her that I hadn't gotten my hair cut in TWO years because of my bad experiences and I requested a master stylist. She then finished up with her customers haircut, complaining about how JCP only lets them work part time, no one is full time, so no benefits, and saying they only have a person to answer phones for only 20 hours a week. She told me, and other customers not to call JCP Salon as no one will answer the phone because no one is there, and to just walk in. That's terrible. Bad mouthing the company, and making yourself look bad. I WAS COMPLETELY TURNED OFF BY THIS POINT. But against my better judgement, I really needed a hair cut. She then began insulting my hair, and how she will not spend 5 hours cutting my split ends. She showed me a way to do it myself when I was home. Why am I coming to a salon to pay you 32 dollars and a tip if I COULD do it at home? I KNOW MY HAIR IS BAD. I'm here for you to fix it. She continued telling me terrible things about my hair, too dry, too thin, too flat, etc. She ended up cutting my hair OKAY. But considering the personality and customer service. Fuming as I'm typing this but let's just get into it. Just left Sephora, one of the most annoying but quick experiences I've had here. I don't frequent Sephora stores because I always get the worst service possible (except at Georgetown, ALL of those ladies are extremely pleasant!!) just stopped in to exchange some stuff that I had sitting in the car since I was passing by and I hardly ever go this way, well a simple quick stop turned into a headache. I ordered online, which I usually do because as I mentioned, I get crappy service (usually only when I'm not dressed up or wearing makeup as I wasn't this evening either) this time was a bit different, the woman who initially helped me was absolutely wonderful and truly helpful stars for her! Started at checkout when the woman who was helping me wasn't very helpful. First she needed my ID, understandable. Then she needs my receipt ummm okay? It's on my beauty insider account not sure why but okay. I get it and then she needs to call and there is a 45 minute wait. For what? For you to exchange products that you sell? Why is that so hard to do? I have never had an issue exchanging things and her attitude wasn't really all that apologetic or helpful at all. Her demeanor was judgy and irritated. You're irritated? Honey, I came in to exchange something which should have taken all of 5 minutes and you're telling me I have to wait for half an hour? Kidding right? Not kidding, I purchased the item instead because she was testing my patience and ruining my mood. Simply over JCP sephoras and most sephoras in general. I will stick to buying online and if something isn't quite right, I'll just return in via mail and leaving it alone instead. Ahhhhh I wish brands would go to ULTA! Yeah. Not a good experience at this JC Penny's. The product they carry is not the issue, let me just state that at the start. Their product is over priced but nonetheless good quality. The part that makes this a really bad experience is two fold: 1) Customer service is horrible - Took 20 min just to get to the line to pay for the stuff which after watching ahead of me the person working at the counter having a long conversation with one of the customers or her friends (not sure which if not both), we dropped everything we had in our hands and walked out the door. 2) No security in their parking lot. There was a child that was left in the car by her mother and she almost died if it were not for the ambulance and myself and my wife who called the police to get her the help she needed. It was a horrible situation and could have easily been prevented if the mother was not such a damn idiot for leaving her daughter in the car with the windows rolled up in 100 degree weather, and if they had security cameras or a patrol that actually could have done something to prevent this from getting this bad. Either way, my wife is scarred for life by what she saw there and the lack of JC Penny's employees doing anything to prevent or do anything about this when it did happen. Unethical conduct on their part. The store employees remind me of those people that witness an accident and can stop and help someone to stay alive but just drive off instead. I placed an order on November 22, 2018, for items for my daughter-in-law's birthday. When I ordered the items the delivery date was 4 to 7 days. Today is December 7, 2018, and my items have still not been delivered. I called J C Penney last week about my order and was told that it was put on the wrong truck and that my order should be delivered by December 3, 2018. I did not receive notification that my order was delivered so I called the store on December 5, and was told the same excuse that my items were put on the wrong truck and that there is a shortage of my items. I called again today and was told the same excuses. I was told to wait a few more days to see if the items would come or I could cancel my order and reorder the same items. Why would I want to cancel and reorder the items? When could I expect them to be delivered? After the new year? I will think twice before ordering anything from J C Penney again. My daughter-in-law's birthday has come and gone and now I look like an uncaring mother-in-law just because I trusted J C Penney to deliver a birthday gift. When I called J C Penney's 800 telephone number yesterday (December 9, 2018) to discuss my order, I was repeatedly hung up on before I could talk to anyone. An automatic message kept stating that something went wrong and to call back later. I waited and called back later only to get hung up on again. It is now December 10, 2018, and my order is still not here. I called the store where it should have been delivered to on December 4, 2018, and was told that my order was delivered to the wrong store on December 4, and to wait a few days to see if it comes in. My sister and i both got gift card for our birthdays to sephora. We went to the sephora at jcpennys around 10am. There was one associate working. She was friendly and inviting. My sister needed help with products and the associate was very helpful. She put make up on my sister and gave her knowledge on how to use the products and why. I thought that was so amazing of her to take the time to do that. She didn't make us feel rushed. She took her time with us and gave advice. I highly recommend this place for clients whom are gaining knowledge about make up. read more

Have been coming year for the last 9 months because the salon was close to my house and was thrilled to find my new stylist Jace Wergin. I've lived in the Austin area for about a year, but had been unable to find someone and tried here just for kicks. The salon is clean, affordable and everyone is very friendly, but most importantly they connected me to a talented stylist who I trust to execute all my crazy ideas (I'm one of those people that changes their hair about every 3-6 months.) Unfortunately, I tried to book an appointment with him, and found out that he was no longer working there It took me a while to find out where he landed but was able to find his new space: 13343 I-183 North, Suite 400, Room 150 in Salon Suites for anyone else looking for his services. Worst customer service I've ever had, anywhere, in their 'Salon'. They started by not having my son's name right on the reservation, and gave the impression that we'd be turned away if they couldn't find it. The person giving the haircut then got half way through and noticed some soap in his hair. She refused to cut it any further, which is somewhat understandable, but completely failed at handling it professionally. She started by saying that she could put gloves on and continue, but she didn't want to offend anyone. Then walked away saying that she, "Had a family to think about at home." Quite offensive. Finally, she came back and said that she would not finish the haircut until my son went home and rinsed his hair out. I have no intention of subjecting my son to her, or giving them any more business. Now I need to find a place that will clean up their mess. read more

Worst experience ever! My mother purchased plantation shutters from the Round Rock, Univerity/ I35, location and when they came to install them one was warped. The man who did the installation told us he would contact Bali and get us a correct one and Jc Penny would contact us for a second installation. After several weeks of no contact we decided to see what the issue was and to also purchase curtains with the $10 dollar gift cards per $100 you spend with your JCP card. So we went back to the curtain/ shutter department and spoke with the rudest associate I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. She had nothing to say about our new shutter date and told us it wasn't Jc Penny's problem but Bali's and we will get them when we get them. Then after being pretty irritated about that we made the mistake of wanting to order curtains from her. We wanted to order the Studio Peyton sheer curtains in black, already have some and love them, in a 60 in. length. She told us she saw some in the back and would go get them. After waiting about five minutes she didn't see them but definitely saw them in the stock room, so we waited another 5-10 minutes. She then brings them out and starts checking us out, and was angered when we told her no these were not the curtains we wanted they were 80 in. She then acted as if we were stupid for not wanting these and attempted to talk us into them we still said no and asked her to order the ones we actually want. She rudely did and asked for a name for who can pick them up so my mother said either or or my father and the associate said no one name only! Seriously???? WOW! So my mother said my father can get them, she was done. Then we move on to payment. After getting the blinds we received all of the gift cards and wanted to use those for payment. No. You can't use those because they don't add up to the exact amount. Okay fine we will pay the six dollar difference with cash...No can't do that. So we had to charge $6.49 OR buy a gift card and use that? Needless to say we were less than impressed and very unsatisfied. read more
