My wife was pressured into purchasing a curling iron, later that day she tried to return the curling iron and was informed they do not allow any refunds. I called to speak to the owner. The owner asked me if my wife was an adult and said no one forced her to buy anything at the store. I can only assume the owner trains her employees to utilize these tactics and pressures people into buying questionable quality items. Any place who sells high quality goods would have no qualms about allowing returns. I would advise everyone to steer clear of this location and do not walk into the store no matter what the sales pitch may be.

I started getting uncomfortable and realized where it was going so I stopped her and put my hair back up and grabbed my bag and indicated I was going to leave. She said she wanted to ask me one more thing before I left so i answered, and ended up keeping me there for 10 or more minutes. it was a constant cycle of her trying to sell me different things and throwing in free things or a discount and me having to repeatedly (and kindly) tell her no. She also insinuated that it was too expensive for me which i thought was so rude!! I'm a nice person and don't like having to tell people no more than twice so i got really annoyed and uncomfortable by the end. she tried to convince me again and gave me her card by saying next time i come in that it won't be such a good price anymore. I didn't buy anything-- it felt like a scam and offering a "lifetime warranty" wasn't very persuasive when they had no one in the store. 1/10 experience, don't waste your time by giving the benefit of the doubt like i did.

Because it's usually so hot in Texas, I go to Angel in between protective styles for a nice trim, deep condition and style. She's very knowledgeable about hair and has growing hands! She takes her time so you won't feel rushed as well as provides great conversation. If you'd rather not talk, she's okay with that too. The availability of my primary medication has also been in short supply and at various times the particular pharmaceutical staff they were indifferent about trying to help me get it. This last week has been a very different story. The pharmacy staff have been extremely helpful in trying to access the primary medication and offered to help in transferring other prescriptions since they are now a "Preferred" vendor and price competitive with my new insurance. Yeah! Hoping this trend continues. My husband recently used the new lab in the store and was very pleased with the service. It's a 3rd party provider. BUT if you don't make an appointment online you are very unhappy with a long wait in a cramped area which we saw with walk-in customers. Results were provided efficiently to the doctor who ordered them and got one unusual lab test done right. With regard to non pharmacy services I like the store! It's very convenient in my neighborhood firstly. I've used the photo service to make a custom greeting card which was so nice and very reasonable. Their rewards and coupons are confusing and sometimes work or not when ordering on line. Part of the appeal for this store location from my experience is that it's very clean, has a strong customer base, and is well stocked and they move the inventory. You aren't getting products in mutilated boxes that have been sitting on a shelf for years. I guess perspective can determine point of view huh?
