To me a children's consignment store should not be selling item over market value. I'm not sure where they get their pricing BUT used potties should not be $15-$20, dirty shoes should not be $10-$12. They had toddler snow boots for $50-$60 each, looked them up online and they run $30-$40 brand new. I did find a few things worth buying but I really had to dig and hunt through each section. Once upon a child has better prices. Very disappointing. Also no girl newborn sizes at all. Pretty good customer service. The cashier was friendly. Just not a good spot to hunt a bargain. read more

They give you almost nothing when they buy your clothes, then hike up the price. They also donated my clothes and expensive tubs/bins after I didn't pick up same evening. I was never contacted that it was ready for pickup. I'm dumbfounded. After not hearing from them, I called the moment they opened next morning. No apology, no empathy, just an attitude. Horrible customer service. The manager said she has no idea what happened to customers items at the end of the night. That's hard to believe. Or just bad management. Who knows. Also, 23 items that they bought for me for $20. Really? You're going to go sell those Nike's & Adidas for $15 though, which is how much I recently purchased them here for. They completely take advantage of busy overwhelmed families. I will not be selling, buying or recommending this location anymore. I'll make sure to let the local mommas know. Great selection of gently used children's clothes, shoes, and toys. They have great sales to help you save even more. I like that they also have maternity clothes, since they can be pretty expensive. They also sell nursing bras and every once in a while you'll find some nursing tops. For selling your used children's items, they can be selective. Every time I come to this location after 5pm they close early. The hours state on the door they are open until 7pm Thursday. It's now 6:25 and they are closed. It's upsetting because I get off at 5:30 and usually can't get here by 6 on usual days. HORRIBLE OWNER! I sold items to this store on September 6th and I went back today to use my store credit, when I went to the register they told me I only had $8 and some change when I should've had $16. The girl then proceeded to tell me owner caught my daughter on camera opening a doll, doesn't tell me when doesn't show me the video, and they took the money out of my store credit. I proceed to ask for the doll then if I paid for it , or to be shown the video and she couldn't do either one. As a store owner you should call your customers to notify them and have proof l, especially if you're accusing a 5 year old. I'm not mad about the money, if my daughter opened it fine I would've gladly paid for it . It's the fact the owner couldn't even call to inform her customer or even have the evidence or the doll for her customer since technically I paid for it. I will not be shopping her or selling here ever again. They buy something for $10 and turn around and sell it for $50/$60. Total rip off. Also owner was not even in her own store today. As a business owner myself I make sure to have communication with my customers throughout the whole process of me helping them. Do better. read more

I just have to go the extra mile and will say that I considered reaching out to law enforcement to get to the bottom of this. I realize that some need things more than others and my experience was an example. You say you state facts and that is one. I would love to speak with you and considered calling/going in- hence my thought to involve law enforcement. I, contrary to yourself, care to do things right. You are a small business and so money hungry. Again, the ethics of your business are questionable. I misunderstood how selling works here today. At drop off, I was asked if they can tag items right away. I said yes not realizing this means they wouldn't allow me to accept/deny an offer. This is my fault, I know that. It wasn't clearly stated though and when I was confused at pickup, the treatment I received wasn't kind. When I asked to leave with my items, they said no, we own them now. Legally, this isn't true. An exchange of goods hadn't been agreed to yet as I hadn't accepted the $ offered. I understood I misunderstood the process and I was kind and apologetic. The staff just stared me while I was dumbfounded at not being given my items back. I wasn't satisfied with the money offered but in order to leave with my belongings, I had to buy them back. And I did out of principle. It was a really wild experience. Nice store but they don't honor their hours!! I don't know how many times I've shown up during the posted business hours, and the store is closed for no reason... No signs, no explanation, nothing. There have even been times where I've shown up, there are workers inside the store at the counter, who see me and other folks standing there, and ignore us at the locked door and never come to even acknowledge customers outside. Frustrating and a waste of a trip when some folks drive from way on the other side of town. read more
