First, I want to say that the recent reviews don't reflect the quality of this place. Although many reviews are from a few years ago, I have consistently had pleasant experiences here during my color journey. I've interacted with several different staff members, but today I had the pleasure of being helped by Angie (if that's not her name, I apologize!). She has a bright, welcoming personality and offered great advice and recommendations. Talking to her felt like chatting with a friend I've known for weeks, even though I was only there for about 20 minutes. All the other staff members I've met have been incredibly sweet as well. One girl even told me that if I needed any assistance, I should let her know, and she would be happy to help. If you've read this far, I assume you're considering leaving a review. Please remember that if you don't achieve the result you wanted, it's not the staff's fault. They are doing their best to assist you in any way possible. Me in a beauty supply store, never thought it would happen. Needless to say, I went to Sally's to find a pair of scissors. I figured it was about time to trim my hair with not kitchen scissors. Only one other customer was there when I arrived. The only salesperson was helping her, she did stop to greet me. I do what I usually do, start on one side and go up and down the aisles. It's not that big of a store. Found the scissors and was trying to decide which one when the salesperson assisted me. She was pleasant and informative. Took my find to the register to pay. Around $10.00. Now you may ask, why not just go to Walmart. Because I would have been distracted by other items and spend way more than I should. read more

Really annoyed that you cant give 0 stars. I was told i needed a minimum of 4 boxes of dye on my hair but I only needed 1, so I went in to return some items after I was told I could return items without a receipt as long as I use my account. This was totally not the case and the staff was incredibly rude. They wanted to give me store credit on part of my order but it wasn't even worth returning the item because I wont be going back. Compared to the 2 other Sally Beauty stores I had to visit to get enough of a specific color of dye this one truly is a wild card of awful. Not a smile on the face of a single employee. read more

Will not be returning to this Sally's location. At first everything was normal. I walked in with my son and we were greeted normally. I was asked if I needed help and I politely declined. We continued to walk to the back were an older lady come from the back room and asked if I need help. I politely declined once again and walked to were I needed to go. While looking at what brand I wanted to get ANOTHER employee came from the back and asked if I needed help. Now at this point I'm not happy. My son and I are the only customers in the store and have been asked three times by three different people if we "needed help" . I continued to shop and I guess I took "too long" to picked what I wanted because out of the corner of my eye I could see the older lady lingering around the end cap. At this point more people came into the store and the lady at the front( which was different from the one when I walked in) was telling the customers what deal was going on. After deciding on want I was getting I went to check out and low and behold guess who "putting things away" behind me the older lady. Now I've been Sally's before, but this was the first times that things felt different. I tend to be able to brush things off like that but I couldn't this time. Bad customer service in my opinion. The lakeline location will be the one I will shop at from now on. I never have had a bad experience with them. read more

My daughter went by this location and was told they are doing curb side only. (Due to COVID) Call order pay then come pick up call us when your here. So we tried to call them all day Saturday and no luck. We tried again Sunday no answer, I tried to see if I could order online and pick option to pick up at store, nope it's only if you are ordering online to be shipped. Come on Sally corporation get with the times so we can order online and pickup at scheduled time. Or have more employees to answer calls and another to prepare the orders and another to come out and give the products to your customers. read more

You can trust the staff at Sally's on Walton Way In Cedar Park. Some of them have years and years of hair experience and those who don't, will refer you to those who do. No one gives advice unless they know what they're talking about. I had a color fix I needed to do. I went in and spoke to Michelle and got very good advice. I went home and had a few anxious moments through the procedure... But I followed their directions And the final step of the process brought everything full circle. Came into this location to by neon purple for my 12 year old daughter's slumber party. Not helpful staff. I asked a question and the lady ignored me! very rude lady. She gave me a "stank" look and walked away. I decided to look at the durage for a bit and considered buying some. Then decided that's for when I go bald officially. I don't like to do everything myself, it's a mess. I dyed my hair myself one time and ended up painting my forehead annnd my ear. I tried to curl my hair and ended up burning my cheek annnd my neck. I've never attempted to do anything myself again after that. My mom is a fan of this place. She likes to dye the roots of her gray hair herself. She curls and/or flattens it and basically works on her hairdo every day. She sometimes does her own manicures too. Dang, if only I could do half of the things she does...I'd save a lot of money each month!!! They pretty much have every brand and any supplies you might need for a beauty makeover, especially if you can't find it at the grocery or drug store. First visit- I needed advice on what supplies other than hair color, I needed to color my hair- developer strength, etc. The sales girl took one look at me and walked away, lol! I cornered her and she gave the least amount of information possible. I figured she was having a bad day. Second visit- same girl, same issue! I knew what I was looking for and where to locate it by my third visit so when she looked at me and turned away I wasn't put out so much. I was asking very basic questions and just needed a point in the right direction. I'm not sure how this store stays in business. read more

I am always surprised and delighted to find the specials, choices and great customer service. My daughter brings me in for her crazy hair needs. ..I end up ALWAYS buying extras for me. Today, the black lady work there ( forget to get her name ) ran up the price wrong twice but she is seem like " shut up , just pay whatever I said and leave " My mistake to spent more then $150 this location today but I decide to go back return all and never go back to this location. read more

My teenaged daughter wanted some hair dye and we show this Sally store. My daughter went in ahead of me and as I walked in the customer service abruptly stood in front of me and demanded, "Who are you here with?" "What do you want?" As far as I know, I don't resemble anyone one the FBI's Most Wanted list, so I was a little shocked at her demands. However, I said I was here with my daughter, just as my daughter called out to me. As we are shopping in this small store, I hear her talking on the phone. Upon hanging up the phone, she loudly proclaimed, "It was a man and they don't know what they are talking about!" While that may be possible, it wasn't something to be said in the presence of other customers. I told her was rude and and sexist. To which, she replied that she was joking. If that is so, then she's in the wrong line of work. I will NEVER return to that particular Sally's location with my daughter ever again. read more

First off I love any Sally's beauty stores, but this one is probably my favorite! The girls in there are so sweet and helpful, they know a ton about hair, skin, nails, etc. Majority of the time they have everything in stock and if not they will go to the back and most likely find it for you! This store has amazing products, like hair products, extensions, waxing kits, nail polish and everything you need for nails, like seriously. They have so many hot tools, brushes, accessories, and false lashes. My favorite part is looking at the body jewelry and hair accessories. Be sure to look at all the items up by the counter, there is usually smaller sized products for you to try if your on a budget! Sally's always has awesome deals and sales. Be sure to sign up for a Sally's card because you will get tons of discounts. Everything in there is very affordable! The store is clean, they have good hours, great selection of beauty products and a friendly staff. You will end up staying in there and browsing through everything for a while, it's so much fun. I highly recommend this store and their products....they are just as good as "professional" items. If you want extensions they have amazing hair for a great price......okay well as you can see I can go on forever about this store lol! Rachel helped me pick out hair extensions and hair dye, and gave me all the instructions needed to dye these extensions so they would match my grey hair. It worked perfectly, the color was exact! She gave me tips on how to mix the dyes and what else to do to make these extensions look real. They really do! Today, I went to the hairdresser to have her put them in after they were dyed, and to cut them so look more like my hair. After the appointment I stopped by Sally's to show Rachel, and she was just so sweet and so impressed with my first attempt at hair extensions. Sally's Beauty Supply in Cedar Park is the best!
