I came in last Saturday with Thing Two as it was her 10th birthday. Usually, the Things get to help plan what they would like to do on their cake day to ensure that I don't hear any complaints after the fact about what they wish they could have done :) On this day, Thing Two got her ears pierced. Thing Two was over the moon thrilled when we arrived as she was in awe of all the little sparkly items the store had to offer. Accordingly, I allowed her to pick out items of her choosing upon arrival. Additionally, prior to coming into the location, I purchased several things on-line to be ready in-store. The piercing technician was very thorough in her explanation of what to expect during and after the piercing. As a parent I appreciated this as it placed a sense of calm in Thing Two. After the piercing, Thing Two found some pineapple lights for her room, a cat mirror jewellery stand, a key chain and some other items that I am sure will not be in style or on trend by the time year 11 comes around. This store and stores like it are very easy to spend too much money in with buy three get three deals and half of this and that... I came in with the expectation of the getting the $50.00 dollars of items I paid for on-line and pay approx. $60.00 for the piercing. But, clearly that is NOT how this played out. Thing Two wanted earnings with the piercing that were at the top of the price list, so $60.00 turned into $92.00 with tax. And another $50.00 + on in-store items in addition to the $50.00 spent before coming in. Expectation of spending: $60.00 + $ 50.00= $90.00 Reality of spending $92.00 + $50.00 + $ 50.00= $200.00 (with tax). This store is sure to please lovers of shiny things. read more

the walls of the store are a bit tacky and outdated. most of the stuff is pretty cheap-made. prices are unreasonable. sale unappealing. the staff member was very friendly and approachable. she offered great service and had upselling skills. read more

Facial jewelry has clear as day red price tag on it saying "$10" i grabbed it and the cashier said they have a sale for buy 1 get one$5 , after purchasing i realized she charged me 19.99 for the $10 jewelry, MIND YOU that is CANADA PRICING, the US pricing was $14.99. I was too slow to catch on but YA'LL BE WEARY. Side note- me & my husband had reason to believe the cashier was racist based on vibes and an encounter she had with other customers. They sell costume jewelry as a final sale so you can't do anything about the broken trash they sell you. They'll do a 3 for 3 sale but you end up spending $70 anyway so you literally saved no money. This place and Claire's are nothing more than glorified party cities. Avoid at all costs!!!! read more

My daughter went here and found a bunch of accessories for junior prom. We found a bunch of stuff that really match her dress. They had a buy 3 get 3 free, the only thing we didn't find was a shimmery purse. They had a nice variety of earrings, necklaces and rings. read more

I came here to look for accessories for a cosplay I'm putting together. This stuff is cheap, but makes for a quick easy place to find some accessories. I wouldn't count on stuff being very durable, but there's a lot of cute little things. The thing I find to be a problem is that this place needs to get their facts straight. When I asked where the hypoallergenic section was, I was told that the entire store was "hypoallergenic". This is not true. I am used to people not understanding what that means, so I did keep an eye out to check this information for myself. I think an accessory store should be informed about this kind of thing. Sensitive solutions does not equal hypoallergenic. Nickel-free jewelry is not hypoallergenic. Hypoallergenic means that it must be one of three things with at least a ~95% purity: surgical steel, sterling silver, gold. Icing does have a small section I found that will cater to these requirements, but those of us allergic to cheap metals must be careful when selecting and check packaging because some stuff that says sterling silver or gold on the packaging is merely plated by pure by a pure metal (which will rub off) or mixed loosely with it (which doesn't work at all). My 10 year old daughter, some friends and I were at the outlets this week. We were walking by Icing and saw this hand written sign in the window and I was completely taken back by it. It had the words "CHEAP AF" written on the sign, which is completely unacceptable and unprofessional in this atmosphere where kids walk by on a daily basis. I do love this mall and I do love this store, but as a mother I cannot accept this type of stuff without saying something. read more

I took my 4 month old daughter to get her ear pierced. Allison K. was the girl who helped me and pierced the ears. It's nerve wracking enough to get your baby's ears pierced and skeptical about it being done right and holes centered etc. but Allison did a FANTASTIC job making both my daughter and I comfortable and pierced her ears perfectly centered! She helped me pick out the right earrings for my budget and preference in style and wouldn't do anything without me being 100% satisfied. Well, I was! She's the best and I'd recommend asking for her if you're going to get your baby's ears pierced. read more
