    Grand opening weekend store front
    Michelle W.

I love Daiso! It went from me driving to Irving to visit Daiso to driving to north Austin to get here...now it's even closer in Round Rock. I was very excited they opened this one. I visited during grand opening weekend and it was not crazy packed in here. I missed the giveaway they were doing which was fine since I am not fan of crowds. I have come back on the weekend to stock up on more items. The store almost feels the same size as the one in Austin. I haven't been to the one in Austin lately, but I noticed most of the checkout area at this store is self checkout. There was only one person ringing you up which is different than the one in Irving and Austin. I got spoiled with people ringing up my items. Just be careful using self checkout as it's very sensitive and it will ring your items up twice very easily. Lots of cute stuff to shop from at Daiso and they carry the coconut animal crackers my little one loves. Great prices. My latest haul was buying plastic boxes to organize toys. You can find items for the house, garden, beauty, toys, stationery, organizational items, snacks, drinks, candy, etc.

Good small store for the gone essentials to small gifts! They had great deal on Christmas decorations so we had handful of goodies and we enjoyed them! :)

Daiso is the cutest spot for small knickknacks, snacks, home items, and a plethora of other things! It's full of Asian snacks and skincare. You can also find dishes and toys. You go in just out of curiosity or for one thing but you leave with a basket full of stuff you didn't know you absolutely needed. Everything is priced fairly cheap so a big shopping spree doesn't break the bank. The store is a good size but the isles are very narrow. I'm sure when it's less busy it will be easier to shop around. But with the grand opening the store was very packed and the line to checkout wrapped around the inside of the store making it very difficult to maneuver around and see all of the products.

It feels like they have slightly more available at this location than the original store on airport. But that could very well be because it also feels more spaced out because of how the floor plan is laid out. Either way, my PIC and I still enjoy coming to Daiso for their selection of goods. Employees are friendly and helpful.

Crappy sign and store front but ok inside . Not the biggest but ok selection

Crappy front. But inside not the biggest one I've been to but it is an ok selection. Have to watch. The prices and there is no returns

While this location is smaller than others, it has a variety of items, and it saves locals an entire trip to Austin. It's close to the freeway, so it's super easy to get to. There is a section for all of your household, gift-giving, gardening, arts and crafts, and office needs! I prefer Daiso to the regular dollar store. We went to the grand opening, and we got a goodie bag for being one of their first customers.

Cute new store full of Japanese products. There are price guides on the wall if a product doesn't have a price marked next to it. They carry some items I haven't seen before, as well as some favorites like Pocky sticks. Check out is mostly self service with one checker available if you need help. The store is open and clean and pleasant to shop in.

I've been a Kohl's customer for many, many years, but no longer. I doubt I will buy anything here…read moreagain. They so rarely had my size in Levis that I just stopped looking, anyway. I can go to the Levis website and order the exact pair I want in my size and they will be on my doorstep in a day or two. So why bother coming to Kohl's anymore? Amazon Returns. A few days ago, I was here for an Amazon return and they handed me a coupon for 20% off my purchase at Kohl's. So I thought I'd use it. In a nutshell, that 20% off coupon Amazon gives you is bullshit. Allow me to explain... I went to the area where all of the men's sportswear clothing used to be to discover that there wasn't much to choose from. There was a lot of Champion gear, but their track pants felt like burlap. Seriously. Burlap. Nevertheless, I found a nice pair of Under Armor joggers. Good enough. I also found a Yellowstone board game (a gift for my parents - they love the TV show - shush, don't tell'em I got'em that until after this Christmas). My wife got some bras. So three totally unrelated items: pants, bras, and board game. While checking out, however, we were informed that we wouldn't be getting 20% off of anything because the coupon wouldn't work for the things we wanted. It says it all right there, in that tiny font wording on the coupon that no naked eye can read, the giant list of everything in the store that the 20% doesn't apply to. After I took the coupon home and put it under my microscope so I could read it, I would venture to say that the 20% off coupon does not work for 95% of the stuff for sale within Kohl's. After paying a lot more than we thought we would have to pay for our stuff, we were walking out when I noticed that there was a second larger location for the rest of the men's sportswear on the other side of the registers, hidden behind all their Christmas stuff. Silly me! Why didn't I just look behind the mound of Christmas swag back where the women's clothes used to be for my men's pants?! This store sucks. Unless there are some big changes, I doubt Kohl's will be around much longer. This place continues to go downhill, year after year. I seriously doubt that putting a Sephora in the middle of the store will save them. I remember when Blockbuster Video tried to save themselves by having a Radio Shack outlet that sold a small selection of cords, batteries, adapters, etc. in some of their stores. That did not work out for either of them in the end, and I predict history repeating itself in the end with Kohl's (Sephora may survive, though). Hopefully, by the time Kohl's goes under Amazon will have a drone service available to pick up my returns in my driveway.

Clothes for the average man, but be careful because most Kohl's-brand items won't last for more than a year or two.

She was quick, patient, and genuinely kind. If this review were based solely on her service, it would easily be a 5/5. She truly deserves a raise. The bad: I was standing in line patiently while watching employees talk in front of me, with two registers initially open. The employee at register one turned off her light, causing the remaining line to become even longer. The customer who was next in line went to register one to check out, understandably thinking it was still open, only to be told it was not. Meanwhile, people who were behind her then moved ahead to the only open register in the entire store. When the customer questioned the employee at register one about why she wasn't informed sooner, the employee stared at her, popped her gum, and shrugged her shoulders. Later, someone else in line walked to the front and asked the employee from register one if another register could be opened. She responded that she was leaving for the day and that no one else could take her place, though she apologized for the inconvenience. There are great deals at this store, and I typically don't blame employees. However, aside from the slight attitude displayed, this situation points to a clear lack of proper management. With unemployment at a record high and this store appearing short-staffed, this location could greatly benefit from hiring more employees. Doing so would not only help stimulate the economy but also provide customers with a much better experience. Separate note: I was only there to make a return. There really should be a return-only lane in these stores, and the absence of one has been noticeable across multiple Burlington locations. That said, it's hard to expect improvements like that when the store can't consistently keep more than one register open.

An elderly customer--who was simply unaware of the store's updated pricing model--was harshly spoken to by the store manager, Jennifer. When the customer politely expressed surprise at the higher prices, Jennifer snapped at her and said, "Pay attention next time! It's not Dollar Tree's problem you didn't pay attention." The customer was visibly shocked and too timid to defend herself. It was heartbreaking to watch. There was absolutely no need for the tone or hostility--especially directed at someone clearly just confused by recent changes. We all deserve patience and respect, but especially our elders. While I understand that staffing challenges exist and retail work is not easy, Jennifer's demeanor was unprofessional and unnecessarily cruel. A manager's role is to lead by example, and in this case, that example was one of impatience, disrespect, and lack of empathy. I spoke with the assistant manager privately and respectfully urged her to ask Jennifer to treat customers with basic decency. We are all human, and a little kindness goes a long way.

Since today is their first day everything looks great, clean and neat and well stocked, and plenty of employees to help. For snacks the prices are close to convenience store prices so they're not a great value, but the selection is great with all kinds of things including Japanese candy and hard to find trendy items. Meanwhile the t-shirts seem like a great value at $5.55 for licensed designs that would cost $15 at Kohl's. One complaint is that this location seems to have only self checkout registers which are fine except one of my two purchases didn't ring up at the right price. The nearby employee was happy to fix it for me quickly, but it did slow things down a bit. I imagine it will go more smoothly when not crowded, and it does let you have half a dozen registers going at once instead of just one or two cashiers struggling at peak times. But to sum it up, this is a nice brightly lit store with plenty of low priced items to tempt you, and some fun things that you might not find easily elsewhere.

I just shop in the app and select drive up. If an item you want for pick up is out of stock, they will either make a substitution if you opted for one, offer you to pick it up from another location, ship it to you, or cancel it. Usually when you order online the minimum is $35 or orders placed using your Target RedCard can score you free shipping. The staff at this store is helpful and drive up has always gone smoothly. The layout makes sense and it is easy to find items. I still love the OG scanning machines to find the price. TIP: I've scanned items using my phone with the Target app, but sometimes items can be marked as clearance without the sticker. I scored kid's boots on clearance. The app had a higher price than the store. TIP: if you have Sprint/T-Mobile, the cell phone service is horrible in the shopping area so be sure to screenshot the drive up code once you get it as the employee needs it to close out your order if you're picking up.
