Marshalls is my very special place where I purchase all of my soaps. Yes, there are more great things, like clothes, shoes, fragrance, makeup, hair tools, and house decor that I love to purchase here, too. But the soap is my favorite. I love the Castelbel scents! I love the Lemons, Cotton Flower, and Lavender scents, and during the holidays, they bring in the Christmas scents like Sugar Cookies and Peppermint. Today I went to two Marshalls. I just had to stock up. Plus, a lover of soap, like me, got to the first one before me and only left three bars. I didn't see my creamy Goat Milk soap. Did I mention that soap is only $3.99 a bar? I probably go to Marshall's twice a month and spend anywhere from $300 to $1000 every shopping trip. The manager on duty at the round rock marshals this evening was so aggressive. Round Rock Marshall's this evening was so aggressive and treated me with such disrespect, literally left a cart FULL of stuff and an OPENED drink on the counter & walked out. The sales clerk was very friendly and excepted my returns for store credit, and then the manager came over, did not even greet me and started talking down to her employee. "Have you actually checked that these are on the receipt?" She began scrutinizing all four items I was returning told me that, the penguin tie I was returning, they did not sell that brand (even though it had the tag attached to it still). The tie, I was looking up the receipt on my phone because it was not on the paper receipt I had with me. She went through the rest of the items, making sure that the tag on the item matched the department. And THEN, she scanned THE Jason Wu dress that was $49 (on her portable scanner). She then told me I could not return my Jason Wu dress because in her mobile scanner the color was not "red"! Mind you, I literally bought two red Jason Wu dresses the last time I was at the store because I was unable to decide which one I liked better. I'm super annoyed because I was very excited about the things I was going to get for my upcoming Bali vacation & have never been treated this way by a sales manager. Usually, they are pressing me to get the marshals credit card because I buy so much each time I go in. I had six shirts for my son and eight complete outfits for myself, a curling iron, a couple of notebooks, two phone chargers, and two phone cases to match the burnt orange dress I was getting for the UT football game this weekend. Plus, they already opened sparkling water... Add it up! That's what you just lost. I will never shop at that location ever again. I can't get those two hours of my time back. What bothers me the MOST was the way she was treating her employee. She was 15 years her senior, and a terrible example of how to treat people and talk to others. read more

Marshall's....hmm. I noticed I hadn't left a review yet. I agree with the other reviews that they have a great selection of shoes, but there are times when I come here unable to find anything I like. Yet my coworker always finds the cutest shoes on sale. Same goes for clothes for me. I may browse and browse the racks and mostly leave empty handed. My coworker will find a great bargain on clothes. The thing I do love about this store is the beauty aisle. Face masks, hair care and makeup brushes. Score! Household items? Score! Organization boxes or shelves? Score! These are the items where I have to tell myself to calm down and not overdo it. I love to browse the household items they have. I bought a lot of great stuff here to organize my overflowing closet. Now it's in great shape! My coworker scored a great gift for our White Elephant gift exchange one year. It was a Moscow Mule set and people were fighting over it. The checkout lines used to be so long and I usually come during lunch so I am in a hurry. That has actually improved when I visit. The lines definitely go faster than another big discount store. I love this Marshalls. They have EVERYTHING. I always walk out with something. The store is organized and I can always find what I'm looking for (and then some....). I haven't had any issues with the employees here. Everyone seems fairly nice... never had a rude experience. My favorite section is the pet section. They have the bests stuff for pretty darn cheap.... no need to get a dog bed at Petsmart or Petco.. just come to Marshalls! read more

Absolutely absurd! I don't often write negative reviews about any stores, but I walked into this place at about 8:30. They don't close until 9:30 and the dressing room is already shut. Couldn't try anything on in the dressing room. The dressing room attendant when I explained to her well you don't close for like an hour basically just stopped talking to me and was so rude. I mentioned something to the manager, asking to clarify the hours because they also came on the announcement and said something about their closing in 30 minutes at like 8:30. If you don't close till 9:30 why are you making an announcement that you're closing in a half an hour. Her excuse, of course was they are short staffed....so get more staff, pay them overtime or just do better. Absolutely absurd to go into a store almost an hour before they close and you can't try anything on. Are we back to Covid crap?! I get that Marshalls in general are not exactly the high-end retail shopping experience, but I still expect to be able to try the clothes on that I'm going to purchase! read more

I have bug bites all over me after trying on bras there on 6/16. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how it happened. I thought maybe a mosquito got caught up in my clothes or something. I came home, washed 3 bras and had no more bites. 4 days later I tried on another bra I'd bought but wasn't sure about. Bites all around my bra line!! Called and spoke to the manager who said she hadn't heard anything like that before and tried to leave it at that. I pressed her, so she said she'd call an exterminator. Buyer beware! I like this Marshall's...like most Marshall's, they have a little bit of everything! Men's, women's, children's clothing and toys, trendy home decor, women's and men's accessories, shoes, luggage, etc. The selection is varied but every time I walk through the home decor I tend to find something that catches my eye. You can also find some decent items in the clearance section. Some of the prices are a little high on select pieces for being at Marshall's, but otherwise the prices are fairly reasonable. They tend to have a line at checkout, but try and move through it as quickly as possible. I stop by whenever I'm shopping around the area. read more

This Marshall's beats others in the Austin area for sure, but I had to take off a star because they change the store aisles around too often. Sometimes it's hard to find what I'm looking for in the area that it used to be in, and it's hard to find associates who aren't busy checking people out or running the dressing room. All this sounds a bit whiny, but it seems surprisingly often. There are some great finds here for cheap. I love that you'll find things that not everyone else in the world is wearing, like you'll find at Target and Old Navy. I purchased a @MCM handbag from @marshalls located at 10515 N Mopac Expy, Austin, TX 78759 06/27/22. I noticed a couple of hours later while packing for my trip that the small bag that normally comes in the medium size bag was missing! I purchased bag for $595, I took bag along with my receipt to the Marshall's located at 2701 Parker Dr, Round Rock, TX 78664. Here at this location I was racially profiled and belittled because of the lack of awareness of the employees. The cashier and manager a Hispanic women were convinced due to the bag being an online return with a tag showing it was that I could not return such an high price item at there location! The manager told me to go to the Marshall's I originally bought it from! I was livid because another cashier was telling them I could return there and did not have to return to original location. The cashier who is attempting to return the bag says I need to call someone again, I never had this happen! I asked several times all while the cashier had the receipt in her hand of my original purchase. The manager comes over and says "We don't have these expensive bags at this location" You need to return to original location! At that point I knew she was lying and I knew from working in retail as long as you have your receipt you can return at any location! I drove back to original location because the city @roundrock I was in I didn't want to be another static of police violence for losing my temper because they would have called the police on me and they were in the wrong! So I drove with tears in my eyes disgusted that knowing a woman, Carol Meyrowitz, As CEO of TJX. Would not appreciate knowing women are racially profiling in her stores! I return the purchase and the manager at the original location was a saint! @MCMtweets you should not carry your bags in stores who racially profile women of color! @tjmaxx @marshalls @HomeGoods You have lost a customer and I will advise my community that black women will be racially profiled in your stores! I have found the Mecca of Marshalls. Though their selection is not ideal.. It is surprisingly well organized Imagine the cleanest dressing room you've ever been in and then add extra hooks and designators. Not only do they have this grid like situation that will hold every piece of clothing you like, but they also have hooks labeled: "buy now" and "tomorrow" and "maybe." its pretty hilarious and appreciated. Bargain shop shop shop at this spot and enjoy the fact that the dressing rooms don't smell like 20 day old cheese. (I'm looking at you ROSS dress for less!) read more

I happen to fall victim to these places on the regular, now granted most Marshall's carry similar stock; somehow I manage to be disappointed with each visit to this location. Yes, they've revamped their dressing rooms--they have a great selection for home décor, their employees are fairly helpful and personable, the store is organized-ish, but they fail to offer the products my family and I shop for; which may not be an issue for you... 1) Shoes: They are well overstocked with women's shoes...yes I am a female and need shoes, but geez at least carry the pumps, flats and even tennis shoes...that I actually can match to current styles, not what I need to wear on Easter Sunday. Not to mention... the children's shoe selection is limited, most specifically the little boys selection. They once were notorious for great name brands, now it's dwindled down to Fila's and And1; yet the little girl's shoe selection is huge! 2) Clothes: I almost missed the little boy's apparel selection. I seriously want to talk to their purchasing manager, they're missing clothes. There were hardly more than 5 shirts in the 8's section; the shorts/jeans were missing as well. I probably should've asked for a map to the minuscule toddler selection as it was nowhere to be found. I could barely find a 3T shirt in the place and didn't feel like spending another hour looking for shorts. It's about to be time for school shopping, shouldn't there be a wider selection? The workout apparel is quiet small as well; we're not all XXS, where the heck is the mediums in this store? And one pair of Under Armour shorts? Aw--come on, restock, all the other locations seem to understand the Austinitie's need for comfy gym clothes. Overall, its a great store, but lacks what I as a consumer needs; with that noted, I won't be falling victim to splurging at this Marshall's anytime soon. read more

Im not usually a big close out store kind of fan.. I hate the R place because you have to DIG AND DIG thry mismatched racks.. and since Im not a tiny girl, nothing is for me anyways. So I have only recently gone to Marshalls for the 1st time. I DO like these places for home stuff, and sometimes for the kids.. BUT, Marshalls definitely impressed me. It was NOT a R kind of place. They DO have stuff for a non petite woman, lol (Im 5'11, and not a single digit waisted gal).. Their shoe selection is pretty good too, which is a plus! Ive not bought anything that had moving seams once I got home, lol, so all appears to be authentic and not "irregular". They have a better little boy selection than the other places, but could use work in the baby boy selections. Mens and juniors is nicely stocked too. Im a fan of the $35 Polo shirt! So overall, Ive now been 3 times in the past 2 months. So I likes. read more

This is one of my favorite stores to browse. The variety is phenomenal. The prices are great. The clearance can be a real steal. Name brands in almost all their departments. What more could a shopper want? You won't find staff hovering over you attempting to help for the commission. This store is worth taking your time in. read more

This is a great Marshalls. I am luck enough to fit in the kid shoes and I bought two pair of dress flats for $24 each! The best part is that they are Michael Kors! Somehow I don't have much luck when I go to this Marshall's. Although they have a big shoe selection, I prefer shoe shopping (if I'm going the discount route) at DSW. And really, I prefer Zappo's for convenience and the sheer number of choices. I have found things here, but it's not the mecca in my opinion that some other reviewers seem to think it is. It's amazing how so many Marshall's can be so different from one another! I've been to this location a few times and I am always pleased with how clean and organized it is. I tend to go in the mornings and it's quiet and not busy at all. Sometimes they have a huge selection, but sometimes they don't, so it's kind of hit or miss sometimes. But it's close and convenient to get to for me, so it's always worth just stopping in to see what their selection is like. read more
