I put myself in quite the situation with my phone and ordering aftermarket parts on Amazon, and they were able to fix the problem and explain to me how to do things better next time. DO NOT GIVE THE PASSWORD THEY WILL GO THROUGH YOUR PHONE. They asked me for my password which was weird and I really didn't want to but I foolishly did. Picked up my phone to see all the app tabs were closed as if the guy went through my phone. Had to change all my passwords for security reasons . Also they never even called me when it was done, I waited an hour for a screen replacement which I was told would take way less time. A few weeks ago I cracked my iPhone X screen while at the gym. I called around to a couple of places and found that JB was one of the most reasonable prices in town and could have me setup in a matter of minutes. Three weeks later I find a small crack in the top left corner of my screen. I found it quite odd since I didn't drop the phone, placed a new glass screen protector and case on the phone and still had an issue. So I thought JB would surely compensate me accordingly. He initially stated that it would be 50.00 to replace the screen and it would take approximately 20 min to have it repaired. I thought, that seems fair since my first service cost around 139.00. Upon my return he tells me the price is 100 bucks. I was shocked cause just 20 minutes before this encounter he said 50.00 bucks. This guy does not honor his warranty and he is dishonest. If your phone gets cracked like mine did your better off taking it to your phones service provider where they warranty their work and their products. read more

These guys are simply the best! I've been to other shops that did a similar job and never have I been this impressed. I rolled over my iPhone 6 with a 2500 HD Silverado, and the damage looked pretty grim. Ordinarily I would have tossed my phone and opted for a new one but I was told by a Verizon employee (you heard right) that these guys were something of miracle workers. Within two hours of drop off, they'd restored my phone to working order AND replaced my battery- all for $105. Unbeatably good at what they do, and totally deserving of good tips! I found JB Fix on Yelp. It took me a month to finally contact them about my phone. An iPhone 6 Plus. I e-mailed them and told them the problem I was having with the phone. I got a very prompt reply that is was most likely "touch screen disease". I looked this up and found it fit my described problem with the phone. JB Fix is a little hard to find. It's a small place in Gilroy next to Sunshine Bicycle. I found them and asked if he could repair the phone. He said yes. It took a week. The phone had other issues as well it turned out. Another week. I couldn't be happier. I spoke to two people there. They are fast, really good at what they do and were very nice. As others have said, his prices are really good. And he stands behind his work. I am very pleased with the workmanship. If I have any computer or phone related problems again, I now have a go to place to get it fixed. My apple back screen is not as efficient as my original and doesn't have glass so my phone is not water resistant anymore and doesn't charge with any of my apple magnetic chargers. Will try again once more to see if a correct back screen is available. read more

My wife's iPhone12 Pro Max was not charging able to because the charging cable would not connect fully into the charging port. I took it in to JB Fix and Juan immediately looked at the phone and within 5 seconds, resolved the issue! There was an uncooked rice piece stuck inside and he was able to get it out using a tweezer. This was probably a leftover of when her phone got wet and it was put into a bag of rice. He also has a sense of humor because he joked that we shouldn't be eating with the phone! He didn't even charge me for it. This was the 2nd time I had gone to JB Fix and the 1st time was a successful and positive result as well. His younger assistant was also very polite and friendly. I rarely write review,but my recent visit with JB Fix was more than satisfactory. My daughter accidentally dropped my iphone 11 and cracked the screen. I needed a replacement so was shopping around a few repair shops for a decent price. So called a few shops and was quoted with some ridiculous price. Not to mention some of the shops were kinda rude on the phone. So looked a little farther and found JBFix. Let me tell you, these guy were the nicest and friendliest service rep i ever spoke to.
