I'm a little late in getting this out, but Michael was extremely helpful & honest. I first brought in a laptop that was a few years old that I was having issues with which was stuck in a system restore loop. He got back to me in the agreed upon time and gave me an update. Ultimately the laptop would have needed both the hard drive and motherboard replaced. Although he did give me an estimate to repair it, he suggested that it would probably be a better idea to replace it instead, which I ended up doing. I then brought in an even older laptop which I had lost the password for many years ago and tried to force my way into (didn't work, lol), and a physically damaged external hard drive. I was hoping he could retrieve some old baby pictures from either of them.
