I had dropped my phone several months ago and it had gotten severely cracked. I am preparing to move, and had wanted to get the phone fixed before I move. So obviously I went to such a high-rated place like JB. I left it with them for the day, and then when I went back, it wasn't ready, and there were additional issues. So came back the next day, and it was fine. Gave me half off, and that was that. Well, I noticed a couple of days later, that when I went to turn off my phone, there would be a little white flash...unusual, but I didn't give it much attention. And then, two nights ago, my phone had a slight slip, nothing much, and later I i noticed there was a blue line on the edge of my screen. It went away later. Today, however, I was getting out of my car, and I went to put it in my pocket, and the whole phone screen lifted up and part of it cracked, and the whole thing went black. So I am ending up having to get a whole new phone. Needless to say, I would not go back to JB, even if I weren't moving out of state. read more

I was in the process of replacing the battery in my iPhone 6 when I dropped one of the teeny tiny screws. I thought it had fallen into phone but couldn't find it, so I took it to JB to have a look. He didn't find the screw in the phone and offered me a replacement screw. I had been very frustrated working with those small screws so I asked if he could put it together for me. He accomplished that in just a few minutes, and when finished he handed my phone back to me, and said there was no charge! He was extremely friendly and efficient. Called them about fixing a cracked screen and was told to come in the next morning. So we come and give the phone over and we're told to come back in one hour. One hour later we come to pick our phone up and the guy says he couldn't fix it because he didn't have the right part... so he says come back tomorrow morning and we will do it free... ok so we come back the next morning and give the phone to him. We leave for 1 hour, come back and the doors are locked. So we call him and he explains hes coming right back. He comes back and hands over the phone still cracked.. so moral of the story we won't be back and it's sad because we've been customers for years. Extremely disappointing service. read more

While he was at my house, he noticed that we had a flooring project in progress. This guy is awesome! I took my grandaughter's cracked phone to staples first. (big mistake) They said there was something "loose" and they couldn't fix it. After spending 6 hours in the Apple store with no solution other than a business card for a service that would cost up to $1200, Juan had my phone fixed (and my daughters as well) in 30 minutes. My backups of the phone had failed and I was faced with potentially losing 12000 photos/videos. Went in to JB after work; I could no longer charge my Iphone after getting getting it splashed with SALT WATER. I did the usual "stick iphone in rice and silica dessicant" and even blew the charge terminal w/ lightly cooled air for 24 hrs. Nada. My iphone was flickering it's last battery power life; my data will be lost to the netherworlds. So, I forlornly went up to the counter where associate tech Anthony was waiting. Suddenly, there was a cell phone call to Anthony and it was JUAN!! I dunno if he has sixth sense or not, but he called in right when Anthony started diligently working on my phone, using a large pair of needle nose pliers and pressurized air to clean the charger terminal end of the phone. In the seconds it took me to say Hey, Juan, how's it going, Anthony had it the charging terminal cleaned out, plugged in the charger and WORKING. And he didn't charge me. So honest, so sweet.
