I sent my wife and daughter both alone to the shop. They didn't try to over sell or provide services that were needed. They communicated well before they did the work so you knew exactly what they were doing and how much it would cost before they started and finished. These last few visits hasn't been that great. This last visit was my last. Took a 2011 vehicle with 150k for a tuneup, transmission flush and to check exhaust and headlights. We had to call them and We were told we needed an O2 sensor, front rotors, rear brakes and something else. Fine. (No price) Had car for 2 days no follow up. We Called on Friday no total provided didn't tell us what was done or not. They finally called back and said what was done with a total of 1k. They didn't do tuneup or transmission flush. The reason I was told that the tuneup couldn't be completed was because I needed rear brakes. The reason they said they couldn't do the flush was because I needed a valve. All of this they could have told me on Thursday since that was the primary reason we brought the car in for. They charged me for a light repair. Front Rotors O2 sensor and an exhaust weld. Disappointing, because I really use to like coming to this place with the exception of these last few years. Unfortunately writing a review and no longer supporting this business is the only way that I can deal with this bad experience, but I'm sure they will be fine without my business.

In all honesty I wasn't to sure how it would go because it was a pain for me...but that's why there are amateurs and professionals. Communication was too notch and they showed up right on time as scheduled, they knocked the job out in 90 min to my satisfaction. Did I pay a nice chunk of change for labor Yes!, but for me it was worth it as I had failed time and time again. You don't pay at times for the time that was worked but for the experience they have. I would 100% book Devon again.

I'm documenting my experience with Devon Mobile Mechanic and attaching screenshots of confirmations…read moreand messages for accuracy. Summary: Confirmed appointments were missed twice with no communication, and I was unable to reach a real person despite multiple attempts. Prior service also showed inconsistencies. Detailed timeline: * I scheduled an appointment for my 2017 Polaris Slingshot. * I received a text confirmation for an 11:45 AM appointment and confirmed it the night before per instructions. * I arrived before the scheduled time and waited. * No one showed up at 11:45 AM. * I called multiple times but was only able to leave messages through an automated (AI) system. * About 30 minutes later, I received a message that my appointment was rescheduled to 12:45 PM, with instructions to confirm by pressing "1." I accepted and received confirmation. * No one showed up at 12:45 PM either. * I continued calling and leaving messages over the next couple of hours with no response. * I ultimately left around 3:00 PM after waiting several hours. * The first time I was contacted by a real person was moments after posting a review, and the call was argumentative rather than focused on resolving the issue. Additional context (prior service): * The week prior, I had them work on two different vehicles. * One vehicle was repaired correctly. * The second vehicle only worked for a couple of hours before the issue returned. * I planned to have that second vehicle looked at again during this scheduled visit. * During that prior service: * The technician arrived approximately 3 hours late. * Even though they knew in advance they would be replacing an oxygen sensor, they did not bring the proper tools and had to leave to purchase the correct socket before completing the job. * No test drive was performed afterward to verify the repair. Key issue: This is not about job authorization. It is about: * Missed appointments * Lack of communication * No ability to reach a human representative * Inconsistent service execution and preparation Conclusion: If you rely on timely service, proper preparation, and the ability to communicate with a real person, this was not my experience. Based on what happened, the only time I received a response was after posting a negative review, which shouldn't be necessary to get basic communication.

Adnan Fayyaz and the Zam Zam Auto Sales & Service Team perform partial low quality auto repairs with faulty parts and try to upsell customers to larger more expensive repairs that their autos do not need. They play the old shell game with auto parts to confuse the customers. They are VERY DISHONEST and DISRESPECTFUL, and will take your money without doing the estimated auto repairs that were paid for! Double check their repair work and get your money credits back! I visited Zam Zam Auto on Sat, 4/11/26 for a engine diagnostic and estimate to complete an oil and filter change, replace with new cylinder ignition coil #2, and 6 new spark plugs minor tuneup. The repairs were completed on Mon, 4/13/26 by your mechanics Jef and Israr to repair a check engine light and vsc off blinking light with engine misfire code problem on my 2009 Lexus RX350. I drove my RX350 back to Zam Zam Auto and reported that the same check engine light and vsc off blinking light with engine misfire code problem returned on my 20 min drive to work on Tues, 4/14/26. Jef and Israr requested that I bring my RX350 back on Wed, 4/15/26 to recheck the repairs, since the misfire code was now on cylinder ignition coil #4 and maybe the spark plug was not seated properly. Jef and Israr completed the engine diagnostic again on Wed, 4/15/26 and reported to me that after they switched the cylinder ignition coil from #4 to #2 that now the misfire code had moved back the cylinder #2. They also reported to me that they thought the engine cylinder #2 had low compression and cylinder #4 was fine. Jef and Israr agreed to provide me with an estimate to replace the engine in my 2009 Lexus RX350 with a used engine. The original diagnostic showed a blown cylinder ignition coil #2, the second diagnostic showed a blown cylinder ignition coil #4, and the third diagnostic showed low compression on cylinder #2. I paid for engine diagnostics and repairs that were NOT completed correctly with good parts and left my 2009 Lexus RX350 with the same problem that I came to Zam Zam Auto with on Sat, 4/11/26. I went to a different and reputable Auto Service on Fri, 4/17/26 to complete the new cylinder ignition coil #2 and new spark plug repairs, and demanded and received a refund from Zam Zam Auto to resolve the matter.

The quality of his work is fantastic and his pricing is very fair. He goes out of his way to work within your budget, letting you know what work is critical (if any) and should be addressed asap vs. what he's noticed could use fixing at some point in the future. But what really sets Jeff apart is his dedication to helping his customers. You can't put a price on the peace of mind I get after I take my 16 year old car to Jeff. Not only am I confident that I'm getting a good price; I also know that my car won't then break down immediately afterwards due to shoddy work or from some other issue that I didn't think to ask about (if I asked Jeff to get my car roadtrip ready, it will BE roadtrip ready). And I know I never have to be worried about being judged for asking questions or for the state of my car (yes, there's gorilla tape on parts of my car and no, Jeff has never mentioned it -- in fact, he always talks about how great my car is and how much he enjoys working on it). As a woman with super limited car knowledge who's always a little worried that I'm getting fleeced at auto shops, the trust I have in Jeff is priceless. I also know that Jeff will let me know when it's time to think about retiring my car. Every few years, I'll check in to see if he thinks it's worth me continuing to fix my car up or if I should start thinking about getting a new one. I probably would have thrown in the towel years ago and just gotten a replacement car (even though I love my current one). But thanks to Jeff, my first and only car is still trucking! But Jeff doesn't only make sure he's giving YOU the best possible value; he's also more than happy to help you ensure you're getting the best possible value from other mechanics. He's had to refer me to some other shops for work he couldn't do (or that would be much more expensive for me to have him do vs. other shops -- again, what integrity) in the past. And whenever I expressed any nervousness about them trying to upsell me, he's always told me to just give him a call if anything sounds off, and he'll advise me on what to do. Recently, I even had a situation where I texted Jeff about a light coming on in my car during a roadtrip. I wasn't sure if it was safe to keep going (the manual was extremely unhelpful, saying both that it could be a situation where I needed to stop and take my car in immediately or to just have it looked at sometime soon), so I texted Jeff a photo and asked what he thought. Jeff got back to me right away, and -- with the caveat that he couldn't be certain what was going on, since he wasn't there looking at my car -- he gave me information that made me confident that I could safely keep driving (spoiler: he was right). He then looked at my car the following morning and got the issue fixed (the problem had been a loose gas cap, as he suspected, and the system just needed to be reset for the alert light to turn off) in under 5 minutes, free of charge. And he even told me he was so glad I felt comfortable texting him about this! I've been taking my car to Jeff for over 8 years, and I can't recommend him highly enough. If you're looking for an auto shop, congrats! You've found the best one out there. At Sisson Street Automotive, you'll get great prices, exceptional work, and outstanding customer service. And you'll even get a thank you postcard with a drawing of Winnie, the world's best shop dog, for your trouble. 11/10, would recommend!

As a single woman and a…read moremother, it can be really hard to find a mechanic you can trust without feeling like you're being taken advantage of. Unfortunately, that has been my experience more times than I'd like to admit. The first shop I called gave me a bad feeling right away based on their customer service, but I still made an appointment. Afterward, I checked their Yelp reviews and was shocked by how many negative ones they had. That didn't sit right with me, so I decided to get a second quote. I already had a good idea of what was wrong with my car based on past experience. When I called this shop, the difference was immediate. They were professional, respectful, and didn't argue with me or try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. I specifically looked for negative reviews--and there were none. I dropped my car off early that morning, and they gave me a clear time estimate for when it would be ready. They even sent photos of the issue. While I didn't fully understand what I was looking at, the fact that they were transparent enough to share images--knowing I could easily research them--told me everything I needed to know about their honesty. I don't remember the technician's name, but they took great care of my foreign car, Lexi, and I'm beyond relieved not to be driving around with grinding rotors anymore. I truly appreciate their professionalism and the way they treated me as a customer. Every single mother needs a mechanic she can feel safe with--and I'm so grateful I found one. Thank you all for your help.
