First off, I had to reschedule my appointment last minute and they were more than willing to squeeze me in before the holidays. When I arrived, I met Siwan, who immediately seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. This gave me a lot of confidence knowing my car was in good hands. Siwan's incredible work ethic and dedication to his craft really impressed me. Despite temperatures well over 100 degrees during an extreme heat warning, he worked tirelessly and was very communicative on the progress of the installation. He was very transparent about any precautionary measures that should be taken before calling the job complete and made sure I was completely happy with the car before sending me home. To make sure I had my car back for the holiday weekend, Siwan worked late and even came in on his day off (Independence Day) to finish the job. That level of customer service is incredibly rare and truly demonstrates how much he cares about his customers and quality of his work. If you're looking for a shop that combines technical expertise, honesty, outstanding communication, and genuine dedication to customer satisfaction, I can't recommend Prime Care Auto enough. I already had a good idea of what was wrong with my car based on past experience. When I called this shop, the difference was immediate. They were professional, respectful, and didn't argue with me or try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. I specifically looked for negative reviews--and there were none. I dropped my car off early that morning, and they gave me a clear time estimate for when it would be ready. They even sent photos of the issue. While I didn't fully understand what I was looking at, the fact that they were transparent enough to share images--knowing I could easily research them--told me everything I needed to know about their honesty. They were going to charge $500 just for the part and another $200+ to install, i went to a dealership and the total for the part and installation was $540. They said the air filters (that had been replaced four days earlier) needed to be replaced, the spark plugs all needed to be replaced, and a tail light needed to be replaced. None of those things needed to be done. The one thing I can say positively is that they were not going to charge an insane amount for the battery if I had them replace that. They were however going to charge $75 for the test and replace of it. Advance Auto Parts does that free.

After doing my own research, it became clear that not everything on the list of repairs were safety-related or required by the state. Only after pressing the issue did the mechanic (named Malik) agreed and revised the list, which already raised red flags about trustworthiness of this shop. The experience only got worse from there. I dropped my car off early the next morning, as instructed, and called later in the day to ask Malik when it might be ready so I could arrange a ride. Instead of a simple, helpful response, I was met with outright hostility. When I asked, "Do you expect the car to be ready today or tomorrow?" Malik curtly replied: "Your car will be ready when it is ready." I asked my question a different way. Malik replied with the same exact response, " It will be ready when it is ready" I tried to explain that I just needed an estimate to plan my transportation. Malik responded "What part of what I told you don't you understand?" This level of rudeness and unprofessionalism toward a paying customer is completely unacceptable. Clear communication and basic respect should be the bare minimum, especially when you're entrusting someone with your vehicle and paying for their time and expertise.
