Peppermint Hot Chocolate with Almond Milk!

My go-to coffee spot, and honestly, a hidden gem! I swing by 1-2 times a week on my way to the office, and every single time, I'm reminded why I keep coming back. The staff here are absolute sweethearts--seriously, some of the kindest people you'll meet. What makes this place extra special? It's owned and run by the owner herself! You can feel that extra bit of love and care in everything--from the drinks to the service. It's got that cozy, small-business vibe that just makes you feel at home. There's never a crazy long line, and you can either walk up or cruise through the drive-thru, depending on your vibe. And can we talk about the fact that they've memorized my order?! That kind of personal touch is SO rare and so appreciated. I've never had a bad drink or bad service here. Every visit is smooth, fast, and friendly. One small wish: I wish they had more locations--because this place is truly one of the best coffee shops I've ever been to. Do yourself a favor and stop by. You'll be hooked too!

Best pupachino in Petaluma!

Java Jack's has great service! It's a little odd set up wise for a drive thru; no one came out to my car for an order, but they took it when I got to the window. I had a mocha, nothing excited, but it was good, and hot!! They were gracious enough to give my dog a pup cup of whip too, so bonus star for that!!!

This is my favorite coffee place! I am absolutely hooked on the dirty chai. The ladies are so nice and work quickly and are great at helping people through the drive up window and the walk up window. Brigitte is the absolute sweetest but honestly all the employees are friendly. They also have the sweetest pup mascot (see photo)! Whenever I bring my pup they give her a little treat :)

Best Mocha in town. Every other place is either mediocre or inconsistent. Java Jack's always tastes AMAZING and gets me going!

You really can't beat the quality of the ingredients here- I have yet to have something from the pastry case, the breads, the warm foods or drinks that I didn't enjoy. Every visit I have had here has been delightful, and I always marvel at the consistent quality of the foods. On my birthday for example this past month, my husband took me here for a breakfast celebration, and then my dad took us there again the same day for lunch. Does that sound like a problem? Not at all! I was delighted. During the Christmas time, they even had a pianist playing live music during the dining time with all their trees and lights and decor- it was truly magical. Usually when I visit, I go straight for whatever they have in their tart offerings. My current favorite is the pistachio tart, but their passionfruit tart is equally incredible. Their set lunch with their soup, sandwich, latte and pastry is such a delicious good deal, you will love it. Prices are absolutely on point for the consistency and quality, as well as the gorgeous presentation. Yes, you're going to be paying more than if you were at, say, Starbucks... but the high quality of these ingredients are worth it every time. I just can't recommend it highly enough. Sarmentine is definitely one of the best gems of South county, hands down...maybe even in the whole county!

They have specialty shelf stable chocolate and snacks and a display full of beautiful desserts! ** pistachio cream puff (4.5/5): unlike the more traditional choux shell, this one was laminated like croissant dough-- fun! The cream was also thick enough to not leak everywhere and didn't taste artificial. Really enjoy this one! ** strawberry and cream chiffon cake slice (3.5/5): didn't really feel like a chiffon cake or maybe it was on the drier side. It worked well with the mascarpone frosting though, which was smooth and a little too rich for me by itself. There wasn't too much strawberry besides the sweet jam layer in the middle. ** Brutta mi buoni (4/5): translated to "ugly but delicious," this craggly meringue actually caught my eye and curiosity for its looks. I'm usually not a fan of meringues, but this one was loaded with nuts and was tasty. Kind of tastes like a refined version of those Lucky Charms cereal marshallows in a good way! Happy with my little haul at Stellina Pronto! They were friendly and had a few window seats + outdoor seating. I'll probably stop by next time I'm in the area to try some new items. Definitely check them out if you're nearby!

One of the best foodie destinations north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Superb coffee shops and bakeries, some award-winning. So, back in 1999 I took a wrong turn off the freeway and discovered Petaluma and the first place I went was the "Tea Room" and it's still pretty much as awesome as it was then. A real nice vibe, nicely decorated with some incredible pastries to include the orange cranberry scone as I recall, sold out today. My breakfast today was quite good with the walnut toast, and a huge portion of very large potatoes that could've been cut into smaller pieces and maybe I only needed one third of the portion. Dem tatters were 'nuff for four people. Great atmosphere, nice friendly staff, and a very pleasant ambience. There's mirrored signage that says TEA mounted high on the wall across from one another so as to appear as if it were a reflection. I personally can also see the word EAT in there every time I glance at it. I was told years ago that it came from an old Texaco gas station sign. It makes sense, check it out. On Western Avenue. I used to tell folks it's across from the pink Catholic Church rectory. That's been painted to a rather unattractive conservation brown. A lot of nice outdoor seating and cool shops nearby, check out next-door thrift shop and the ever remarkable Petaluma market around the corner, with superb produce display! Famous for cheese, wine, cider, breweries and happy cows! If you're coming from the south cut over through Fairfax to Olema and take the back road up to Petaluma which is a stunning drive!

She makes the entire experience unenjoyable and it's very frustrating because we are always nice and respectful, and we always tip very well. The straw that broke the camel's back for us, was when we came in and my husband and I were about to order and the place was super busy so no tables were currently open, and two gentleman offered their table to us because they were about to leave, and the lady at the counter snapped at me and refused to let us sit at the table because she thought we had pressured the men into letting us have their table (mind you, we hadn't spoken to them at all before they approached us) . I'm not sure what her issue is, but I have heard from other friends in town that they have had similar experiences with her and it's made them stop going there. Unfortunately, we won't be returning either.
