    Snowy owl (seasonal specialty coffee)

I was utterly charmed by this darling coffee shop nestled in downtown Port Washington. My husband and I were headed on a day trip to Green Bay when we were in need of a bite and some caffeine for the road. Enter Java Dock Cafe. I ordered a bagel and one of their specialty lattes, assuming I'd have to take it to go as their space is so small and there weren't any tables that I could see. I was wrong! They have an adorable dining space on the second floor. If you're able to navigate a flight of stairs, you can definitely enjoy your coffee and bites in house. The asiago bagel and cream cheese was toasted and delicious. The latte was lovely and the service was wonderful. Zero complaints. I would definitely stop in here the next time I'm in the area. Get to it!

    Spacious, cute upstairs!

I like to bike to coffee shops near Cedarburg and this year I discovered the Java Dock Cafe in Port Washington. When you walk in you will see a smaller area where you order...it's cute but be sure you go upstairs....You will find a large, bright, tasteful room with lots of tables and lots of windows. The Oatmilk Latte I got was good and the Raspberry scone delish. They also have a few outdoor tables and a walk up order window. Most importantly, all of the employees seemed to care (you can tell). The Java Dock Cafe is not on the main downtown street (it's around the corner) so be sure you don't miss it.

You can almost miss this nice place in Port Washington. We came on a Monday morning, and landed here since there were limited options. We enjoyed the breakfast burritos and scones, as well as some crafty coffee drinks. The upstairs is indeed a nice quiet place.

A friendly small coffee house with a variety of roasters (Valentine, Anodyne, Collectivo, Stone Creek). The Scones are are not overly sweet and taste fresh out of the oven. I would visit more often if they started offering a tasty egg and bacon breakfast sandwich. There is a walk up window, seating outside and indoor upstairs.

My kind of place.. some treats and other beverages.. a window to serve the folks outside (not a drive up!)

Good coffee, scones and pleasant staff. Walk up window for when we're walking the pups. It's exactly what I'm looking for in the morning.

Get there early or you'll end up waiting. Don't drink? Too bad; if you don't get there early, you'll wait. Salad bar (which I love), not here. Muddled old fashioned, not here. Cozy atmosphere and solid customer service, definitely in the right place. We arrived with a veteran couple. They got us there early, understood the ordering routine and found us a place to sit. We ordered appetizers and drinks. Definitely get the onion rings as they are incredible! Drinks were solidly poured and reasonably priced. We ordered and were surprised by how quickly we were seated. The vegetable tray and bread basket were good. Our meals came out shortly after we were seated. The salads were nice sized and the blue cheese dressing with crumbles was great. Our entrees (ribeye, tenderloin with chicken, prime rib and fish) were all sized nicely and prepared as ordered. My dining partner said the chicken was some of their all-time favorite. My ribeye was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Our dining partners loved their choices. Overall, I'd really like to give 4.5 stars, but my pals at Yelp still don't trust half stars. We all enjoyed our experience and will definitely put this on our list of supper clubs to return to!

We tried multiple different cocktails, and loved each one. We all enjoyed our dinner entrees, which were beautifully plated. Their menu appears to rotate often and is somewhat limited, so make sure to check the menu before you go if you are someone with specific food interests. The vibe is on point, low lighting, rustic - a versatile spot to go with girlfriends or for a date night. The wait staff is always attentive and informational, providing suggestions when we are looking for guidance on what to choose. This time around I went with a girlfriend and we decided to share a couple apps and an entre. We started with their seasonal burrata that was bursting with flavor. It was both savory and citrusy, a really nice compliment. We did have to order a side of bread with it, so that's one improvement the restaurant could make - bread is a necessity with a cheese dish! Next up we ordered their Mixed Greens Salad which was a perfect light & tangy salad with a little bit of sweetness. Highly recommend. Finally, we shared the seared walleye entree. I pretty much order fish everytime I come here because they cook it to perfection and it's something I can't make at home as easily. The walleye did not disappoint and was so flavorful and enough food for us to share. We ordered the perfect amount to split between the 2 of us. Can't wait to go back, keep up the good work!
