Absolutely delicious! Had the avocado toast with over hard egg on top and it was extremely satisfying! Very filling!

Always a great visit. Great atmosphere, never crowded. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Large menu. The avo toast is sublime. Add a fried egg, and it'll make your day. Aloha! read more

Java Cafe - Avocado toast with fried egg. Yummy! - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Kihei, Hawaii

Iced Mexi Coffee over priced and underwhelming 7.50 for a medium iced. Ouch. Almond croissant was pretty decadent not flaky more bready and cakey. More filling than typical at other places and at least it was contained inside the pastry. A lot of times it will seep out and burn in the oven so that was nice. The cashier was friendly and had a nice smile. read more

Really fun breakfast place, clean and fresh interiors with good food options. They had some refreshing juice options with healthy ingredients like beetroot, celery, ginger, OJ etc. But a girl needs her coffee in the morning! We had: 1. Smashed Avocado Toast - 5/5 2. Vegan Hummus Toast - 5/5 3. Kailua Coffee - 6/10 Food was fresh and light. Coffee was heavenly (may be a different spelling but sounded like Kailua). Overall really enjoyed the breakfast, although on the pricier side, food was really good. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for vegetarian options in the area. read more

I meant to take a picture of my avocado toast with eggs this morning, but it looked so good that I devoured it before I remembered to take a picture! So incredibly good I'll be back again tomorrow! Okay so it's tomorrow and I went back and got the beet hummus avocado toast with feta! I remembered last minute to take a picture... after I took a bite of course ;) read more

Got the avocado toast. Fresh and yummy - doesn't stand out as the best I've had, but definitely respectable and a good size! We also got the cold brew. Tasty. I really liked the high ceilings in this space, service was friendly and they had the World Cup on which was a bonus and unexpected. Give this spot a try! read more

While you might shy away from a strip mall cafe that attracts the tourists like me, Java offers everything you might need from food to coffee to free wifi. the vibe is a blend of local and modern, the service is excellent and the food is great. I most recently had the smoked salmon bagel (pictured) and, upon my first bite, audibly reacted to its tasty goodness. Wifi is free and good enough, but not super strong. There is plenty of seating, inside and out, and there are a few power outlets if you need them. read more

We went to Java for breakfast and got a Salmon Bagel, avocado toast and 2 smoothies. The salmon Bagel was good, I thought. The avocado toast lacked of flavor, it did not have spices, salt or anything on it, which we were surprised by and didn't end up finishing it. The smoothies were great. The service was alright but not the warmest. The main reason I removed 2 stars is for the price. This is the most expensive breakfast we've had on the island and if we put the quality next to the price, I am not sure it's worth it. The restaurant is located near lots of parking and has both indoor and outdoor seating. read more

I love this place. Great coffee, lattes and bagels. A lovely selection of baked goods, too. My favorite is the Fresh bagel -- I always add an egg, too. So delicious, and beautiful! The pink hummus and fresh veggies make it so colorful (and nutritious). I'll definitely be back! read more

Java Cafe - Fresh bagel with an egg! Better than the egg sandwich I think! - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Kihei, Hawaii

It's mid. Guy taking my order looked like he hated his job, the egg sandwich was pretty but was dry. Wish it had some sort of aioli or something. Cholula sauce made it slightly better. Gf ordered the special sandwich and a cold brew. It was not packed or busy at all but they didn't give her the cold brew. She waited really long to get her sandwich and they forgot to put tomato and avocado in it. We needed to remind them to get her the cold brew. For the prices you pay here it's not a good deal. read more

Good coffee and very fast breakfast service. Other places had long lines at 6:30am, but we caught Java Cafe before the lines started. They also are fast with the service which was paramount because I was starving. The pastries all looked great. We had two breakfast sandwiches which were both good. Very fresh ingredients. And the flowers on the plates were a nice touch. Drip coffee was quite strong, according to hubs. My decaf cappuccino was the best I've had in the islands. However, decaf is weak as heck on the islands... everywhere. read more

I absolutely loved this cafe. It's such a cute vibe with lots of menu and drink options. I came hère this morning for breakfast and had a hard time deciding what to get. I got the avocado toast which was fresh and delicious. I also tried their chocolate croissants which were so good. I liked this place because of their variety of pastries and breakfast items. They also have a Nutella croissant which looked amazing. The only thing that I didn't like is that I had to wait about 30 minutes to get the food which was a long time for avocado toast with no other customers in the cafe. This place gets really busy so I recommend coming in early. Good food and lots of options!! read more

Worst Americano I've ever had. Ladies upfront were very sweet, (A+ customer service), but I must've caught them on an off day because that shot was totally under pulled and sour. Fresh Bagel sandwich was good but it's $15.50 and you're not getting $15.50 worth of food. read more

First morning In Maui and we were ready at 6 am, we needed coffee and so just randomly chose this place . The pastries is to die for , it's so good. The cinnamon rolls taste like cronuts and the frosting is not sweet but like cream cheese. And the croissant with creamy fillings is just perfect. Very freshly made. Cute store, my kids went crazy for the swing chair. Hot chocolate with lots of whip for kids were made at the 'warm' temperature. My coffee, Irish cream , was so tasty. Definitely will come back read more

Delicious fresh pressed juices here! I bought a carrot, apple, orange blend; a ginger, grapefruit, turmeric, apple concoction; a pear, apple, pineapple, mint juice. It was all great and reasonably priced for fresh juice. We also got an iced coffee with cocoa to go--I'd halve the cocoa next time because it almost overpowered the coffee, but it was high quality chocolate and didn't rely on sugar to enhance that taste. Charming atmosphere with efficient counter intelligence--we'll be back for more juices and coffee while we're here. read more

First time in and it was a cute little cafe with outdoor seating. I ordered the egg sandwich (without spinach) with a Bliss pressed juice (in their case ready to go). The juice is delish!! Total BLISS! The egg sandwich was really beautifully made - presentation was great! I was pleasantly surprised to see two eggs on the sandwich and it had salt and pepper on it... YES!!!! So many times I order an egg sandwich (my favorite) and it has absolutely no seasoning... thank you, Java Cafe, for seasoning the egg sandwich! Also, it had a nice amount of avocado (no yucky spots- thanks!), and white cheddar cheese (nice touch)! Overall, impressed... I'll come back for sure! read more

It has a great atmosphere. Available Wi-Fi. Clean and lots of seating inside and outside.

Snotty staff. Not very welcoming. They were more interested in hanging out and talking to each other than giving any type of service.

Cute coffee shop within walking distance from where I was staying. Fresh pastries and juice in addition to the protein shakes, coffee and sandwiches. I've gotten the breakfast sandwich special with coffee each morning and haven't been disappointed. $12 large coffee and a breakfast sandwich on a croissant with bacon, egg and cheese made to order. **Vegetarian Friendly** Delicious coffee stand for those embarking on Road to Hana. Not only do they have coffee, they have smoothies and fresh pressed juices. Their breakfast menu is also widely spread to appeal to all eaters. If you're interested in a fresh pressed juice, I recommend going late morning. The juices are pressed overnight, and the "juice mixer" does not start until later in the day. Dairy alternatives = Oat, Almond, and Soy Note: The regular cold brew was stronger compared to other places, so needed a little extra milk. read more

I don't know if I've ever seen a beverage menu with as many options as Java Cafe. They also have a wide variety of organic smoothies and many MANY gluten free/ vegan options. Def recommend trying out the fresh baked goods! I snatched a passion fruit muffin & it was bomb. I also grabbed an iced 'coconut macadamia nut iced latte' made just for me. Just a girl on a mission for great Maui coffee! This place is fantastic! Super cute and quiet lobby, seemed very clean. They have a fridge next to the register full of fresh made juices in mason jars! All sound super delicious and there's a lot of choices. There's even an entire smoothie bar on the other side of the lobby! So many options! The pastry case looks out of this world, so many delicious treats to choose from and it smells like heaven. If you're in the mood for a meal they have that too! From wraps to sandwiches all are delicious and well made. I went several times here just because I was so impressed every time I left. The first time I went I got a large iced latte with honey and coconut, it was to die for! My partner got a café au lait and said the coffee was delicious! The second time my partner and I got the same drinks and it was just as delicious as the day previous. But we added a smoked salmon wrap, it was perfect! The fish tasted really fresh and the greens were cereal commercial crunchy, how amazing! read more

I came back today to give the coffee another try. And I like Blueberry Muffins and was hoping to find some.. They don't have a muffin like that and I chose coffee cake that was cut from a standing cake on a plate. . Prob was a lot more moist early. Now it was one pm. The coffee was better with the coffee cake but it was actually dried out. I ate it anyway, think it was 4.00 plus So it was good enough. But not to do twice. Nice place, people were having some kind of fried egg on bread. That looked good, I may go back and give that A try. read more
