This is a big facility with a lot of options on the menu. There are standard deli sandwiches offered like the club or rueben or you can branch out and make your own creation. I went with the reuben. The woman rang me up and then went to work making the sandwich. The restaurant is huge. You could easily come here with a group and spread out to eat. I elected to take my sandwich to go despite the spacious seating arrangements. The reuben was stacked high with layers upon layers of meat. Some people might love this, but I thought the ratio was off. I would have preferred a little less meat and a little more sauerkraut and mustard. Even after pulling some of the rubbery meat off the sandwich it still didn't seem quite right without sauerkraut and mustard. If your meat can't stand on your own without getting dressed up, then the sandwich as a whole will not rate highly either. In a pinch, Jason's Deli can satisfy your midday hunger, but I would suggest hitting a more authentic deli instead of this chain. read more

Nice solid deli with good selection and nice people. We've gone several times with my very senior mom. She loves the soup and grilled cheese on really good wheat bread. I had southwest chicken sandwich this time - fresh tomatoes, nice avocado spread, melted cheese with generous chicken. Nice! I've eaten there many times in the past. Today I had a Rueben which has always been one of my favorite sandwiches. I was there to celebrate with my son on his achievements. We saved the sandwiches for dinner. We did have an interesting experience at the counter ordering our meal. The employee was scattered brained and literally answered the phone while taking our order. Ok, this is Jason's deli so the food is going to taste like every other Jasons deli! It's all the same dining in, the same when they cater our lunches at work, etc. You're pretty much know what you're going to get. This location is usually always clean, the staff is friendly, salad bars are always looking good, no real complaints. I go in occasionally, usually eat from the salad bar, stuff myself, then stuff myself a little more. I especially like when they have the little muffins. When I go in I usually get the salad bar because you don't get that at work when lunch is catered in, so I have had their sandwiches plenty of times catered and they are always good, fresh tasting and very well put together. read more

You never fail me! I order delivery & to-go very frequently for my work group lunches. Jason's always delivers our large orders promptly, correctly and exactly as ordered. I have never been disappointed. Delivery fee is only $7 and they are very affordably priced. My CFO loves seeing the cost for 7 or 8 people under $75. They have a variety of food options that I can order from them several times in a week and someone can order something different every time. We also get catering from them for breakfast and lunch. They offer a breakfast platter of coffee cakes, fruit and pastries for under $50. Their box lunches are the safest bet for groups of 15+. It's been a while since I stopped in to a Jason's Deli but came with my co-worker for lunch. Although this location was bustling with a lunch crowd, I have to say I was pretty impressed with the staff and the service. The cashiers seemed to have the lines moving pretty quickly and they were extremely courteous! Managers were very "present" throughout the whole experience, walking through the restaurant, greeting diners, and even jumping right in the line to make sandwiches, bring food to the tables etc. I could feel the vibe of the team working together and was impressed - they did not seem to miss a beat. When I could not decide on my soup choice, my cashier brought me a sample to try! BTW - on a rainy day in Dallas, a bowl of the Southwest Chicken Chili really hit the spot! Great seasonings - I did not think it was too spicy but I love a LOT of spice. My coworker got the regular chili and her mouth was feeling it after a while - again she DOES NOT like any spice, so keep that in mind. All the sandwiches I saw going past me looked DE-LIC-IOUS!!!! The salad bar is a make-your-own - Lots of fresh ingredients to choose from - and also comes with the soft-serve ice cream deal! Why does every Jason's Deli smell weird (not horrible but just odd) to me when walking in. I think it has to be whatever cleaning products they are using. This location gets kudos for being clean but lost a star thanks to molding tomatoes in the salad bar. While I know you can't check EVERY grape sized tomato --- the big one with the mold on it is obvious. I don't frequent this restaurant chain often but that salad bar could be great--- if only I could trust the quality and freshness of the products. I've been to other locations and had great experiences, so I decided to bring my hunny for lunch. The service was good, people were friendly and the food was ok. The only thing that really bothered me was the cleanliness of the restaurant. The bins behind the counter looked as if we walked into a bad buffet. The ruffle refill bag was out and the area just seemed so unclean. The employees were eating behind the counter in plain view and the table area was full of crumbs. The food presentation wasn't as expected and very much "thrown together". He saved room for dessert only to have the soft serve machine spew out inedible ice cream. I felt bad choosing this place to bring my bf before he flew out of town, wanting him to have a wonderful Texas lunch experience. His comment was, "it was okay" which is NOT ok to me. I'm a big fan of Jason's Deli and it kind of hurts me to write this review, but I experienced an issue at this location and I'm not really impressed with the resolution. I stopped by on Saturday afternoon and ordered my favorite sandwich, the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich. About two bites into my sandwich, I bit into something hard and unusual felling. I figured it was probably a rare bone from the chicken and I spat that bite out. Towards the end of my sandwich, I noticed something hard again, but also sharp. I had to spit it out to see what the heck was going on with my meal. I found at least two tan, semi-hard pieces of something that appeared to me to be wood. When I tried to bend them, they didn't bend easily or break. It was not the texture of chicken, it was not the texture of burnt chicken, it was not edible. I took the two pieces up to the counter to ask about it and I was told that maybe it was from the cutting board, but it may have just been chicken that was sitting out for too long or cooked for too long. I was offered something else, but I had already eaten my meal. I really was not impressed with the analysis of this situation. I mean, I don't expect them to take the half chewed whatever it was and examine it by hand right there at the counter, but having something sharp and inedible in your food is kind of a serious situation and I don't feel like they made any plans to solve the problem. I have worked in food manufacturing before so I know that these types of things can happen. Metal, woodchips, plastic, etc. can end up in your food, but most companies take the complaint and do a little more investigation to see if it's a vendor issue or an issue in house. All I know is, there was something in my sandwich that didn't belong, but they didn't seem to care enough to look into it to prevent future problems. I'm still a fan of Jason's, I'll still probably go back, but not to this one. read more

I've never been a huge Jason's deli fan and after this last visit I remember why. This place is huge and has plenty of tables when it gets busy. The floors were a bit dirty and there was trash under many of them. Tables seemed to be cleared pretty quick but they weren't exactly cleaned. For lunch I ordered the chicken club salad with no bacon and no cheese. What came out to me was a salad with just chicken and cheese. There were no tomatoes, no avocado and there wasn't a dressing. Normally I would just pick out some of the cheese but they melted the cheese INTO my salad. The entire plate was warm so I assume they put it under a heat lamp or too close to a warmer. I don't know how else cheese melts into lettuce. I managed to dump half of the cheesy chicken and lettuce off onto a napkin and went to the salad bar in search of dressing. The salad bar was a hot mess. So many items were mixed together or flung all over the place. I notified one of them employees and she went over, looked at the salad bar and walked away as if it was perfectly fine. I decided to pass on the mixed together dressing options and just eat cheesy chicken lettuce. My boyfriends meal was decent. His turkey wrap came out beautifully minus the browned avocados they put on it. He managed to just scrape them off and go on with his meal. Overall I was very unimpressed with this place. Extremely unfriendly employees. Guy who took my order on the phone sounded more like a prison inmate, no enthusiasm and didn't know anything about where the location was or anything nearby. I wanted to ask him is someone holding you hostage or something. Inside wasn't any better. A huge amount of staff behind the counter but no one said hello or was remotely friendly. Pretty quick for take out. I didn't even phone in my order and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Their baked potatoes are ginormous and you may have to split it or save half for later. Also on their salad/dessert bar, the banana pudding with vanilla wafers is so delicious I'm still salivating for it. read more
