Walked in today and no one was in there working. Both of the guys on duty were sitting in their cars. When one finally came in I ordered a veggie little John and he asked if I wanted cheese on it (it comes with cheese) and then he charged me for adding cheese. He says to wait and the other guy will make it. The next guy comes in, puts gloves on and cuts the bread (gets confused by the extra cheese charge because I just wanted normal cheese), and the other guy walks out. The man making my sandwich then goes outside to look for the guy and touches the door with his hands and proceeds to continue making my sandwich with his dirty gloves. Never again. I walked in and this poorly dressed, ungroomed man says, "hold on a minute". As I'm standing there, he's having a personal conversation and NEVER ended his personal conversation. I walked out of the store and decided that I should get his name so that I could report the incident. I walked back in and he walked back to the register, still on the phone and STILL never got off the phone. I began taking pictures of him and he proceeded with his personal conversation as if I wasn't standing there. Unbelievable ‍‍. This location has the worst customer service I have ever experienced! Many times, items are left out of my order or not given what I ordered. My coworkers and I have been ordering from this location for YEARS! Orders have been slacking and at times do not include paid for extras. The Manager Larry Pool could not care enough to come to the phone and address my issues. The female worker was less than accommodating. This will be the LAST time I order a $25 sub sandwich (paying for delivery also) from this place. The food is good but the customer service is not. I ordered a meal for delivery and it took over an hour for it to arrive. They did not follow the instructions on the order and my drink was missing. When I tried to call them, I was either put on an endless hold or it rang unanswered ... finally answered after being on hold for 10 minutes. I was told they could send the runner out and it would take an hour. I asked for a refund and was told that I could get a credit, but the credit would not be on the app... it would be for this location only, I would have to call the order in, and it would only be good for a limited time. I ordered a #6 Slim Combo and when I went online there wasn't a good description on what was on the sandwich so I went to the menu and verified what the #6 slim included and choose that one based on the description. When I got my sandwich delivered It only had cheese???? I called the location to let them know that the sandwich I was expecting was not what I actually got. The manager was really rude and was arguing with me saying that their vegetarian option was #6 and consists of only bread and cheese which has been that way for years! He was not listening to me and kept talking over me which made me not want to reorder and just request he void my order. Not really sure if I should be posting a review about this on here. I had a sandwich delivered to my office. The girl came in, asked for me to confirm I was the right person who ordered the sandwich. Music was playing from my computer (You Make my Dreams by Daryl Hall & John Oates). I said thank you, smiled, tipped her, and started going back to work as she walked out of my office. About 30 seconds later, she came back and mumbled something, I asked her what she said, she mumbled again. I love Jimmy Johns, I stop by this location about 2 times a week. This time I was coming home after an 11 hour shift in Coppell and just wanted to pick up a couple good sandwiches for myself and another. As I walked into the store there were no other customers, I proceeded to the counter and looked up to the menu trying to decide what to get. I made eye contact with the young lady behind the counter trying too be friendly without any reciprocation from her at all, no greeting, no smile except what seems to be frustration because I was trying too decide and I didn't already know what I wanted. Her facial expressions were as if I had took her away from her doing her favorite tasks. She didn't have a name tag on either. As I ordered she tossed around the sandwich bread and toppings like a pouting child, I asked for provolone cheese on the turkey sandwich and she acted as if it was the end of the world, I asked for vinegar and oil and in her frustration she quickly grabbed the bottle and squirted it on like she wanted to squirt it on me. Then I asked for a second sandwich an 8" Cuban, her eyes got so big as if she heard an offensive joke. I could tell she was fighting herself from going nuts on me, but I had one more request. I asked if I could get onions on my Cuban, she stopped making the sandwich and her professionalism completely flew out the door by huffing and dropping her shoulders as if I was a parent asking a 10 yr old child to clean their room. I then asked her if I was putting her out. She acted as if nothing was wrong, she shook her head and said "you ok". I replied, "you're certainly acting like it". She just shook her head again. Just before this a customer walked in and was right behind me. She finIshed up, rang the transaction, handed me the bag with the Cuban in it and receipt, I had to grab the turkey sandwich and place in the bag with my Cuban myself. I smiled at her and said have a great night! She said nothing. Her name on the receipt says Timishia. Luckily the sandwiches are good, experience is also a factor customers use to decide whether to frequent a business. I usually order ahead and see my sandwich ready and waiting on the rack in the back when I walk in but end up waiting several minutes as the new hires are being trained on the process. This is third time this location has been over 30 minutes late, which matters when you only have 30 minutes to eat lunch. When I called, I was placed on hold without an apology, to get the manager. I was on hold for awhile, so I hung up and called again. Larry, the manager, said an employee had a family emergency and the next driver didn't get there until 11 (my order was to be delivered at 10:30), which was almost the same excuse used on previous occasions when my order was very late. This location should not even exist due to just so many factors. This location is right next to a Starbucks across from Medical City Dallas next to HWY 75 on Forest Ln. With that information alone. This should be a hot spot for business! But sadly, they aren't that busy. Every Jimmy John's I go to is always busy at lunch and dinner and staff is always at par. I get customers suck now a days because COVID has altered the way we socially interact now but Jesus Christ. Walking into this Jimmy Johns is literally the text book definition of a "bad experience". Workers look at you like you just ruined their whole day, they talk to you like they wish you would just leave the store and make you're own sandwich at home plus they make your food like you're an inconvenience. Not to mention, but what are with these weird hours? If you're only going to be open on weekends for 4.5 hours, why be open at all? I get you're open during lunch but your staff and business is literally loosing money to the other Jimmy John franchises in the area for any hungry people after 3:00pm. And again not to mention the random early closings on Monday-Friday??? The extremely poor attitude and skills to communicate to another human drives all reoccurring customers AWAY!
