We assured him it wasn't. We started with a couple of glasses of their incredible iced tea, a special blend called Apricot Chardonnay. It's delightful. In fact, the restaurant sells it in the bag, and we always take one home with us. Our friend arrived just in time to look over the menu. With so many tempting choices, deciding wasn't easy. My wife, a devoted chicken salad sandwich fan, chose the chicken salad sandwich, and our friend quickly followed suit. I ordered the Friday lunch special: fried cod and fries with a side of jalapeño-infused coleslaw. During our visit, Kim, the manager, stopped by to introduce herself. She was incredibly personable and made us feel right at home. As we enjoyed our iced tea and caught up on all the latest news and gossip, Carlos arrived with our entrees. I'm willing to bet that Renny's cod would give them some serious competition. It was phenomenal. The fries were excellent, and the jalapeño coleslaw added the perfect touch. The Crème Brûlée was incredible, especially paired with a cup of black coffee. They kindly gave me a taste of the apple tart, and all I can say is wow.
