Came for restaurant week to try out something new! They had the $37 option. I had the butternut squash soup which was great and my husband had the tuna tartar which he also liked, as an app. We added on an app of goat cheese balls which were the best thing we had! You get 4, about 1 inch, deep fried balls with arugula, heirloom tomatoes and a fig jam. We ate everything and was scraping the bottom of the bowl for the fig sauce/ jam because it was so good. For entrees, I had teriyaki steak which was great. The portion was huge and I couldn't finish it. My husband had the truffle pasta which was okay. It wasn't bad by any stretch but really didn't wow us and wasn't something I would come back for again. I only gave the restaurant 4 stars instead of 5 because the service was insanely slow. The server was so kind, smiley and helpful, but if you told me he was cooking and serving, it wouldn't surprise me because he was running out. I would add, the decor inside is beautiful and I think I would come back again for a cafe like experience, not a more formal dinner. read more

It's okay but overpriced. We've been there a few times. The tofu asada bowl was way too salty. On another order, the description said we got a fish dish but it had no fish. When we pointed that out, they just argued with me about it saying that it's not "supposed " to have fish. I told them I ordered what was on the menu and tried to show them the menu description to demonstrate we didn't receive what we ordered, but they refused to look at it and just argued about it saying there was nothing they could do. Obviously they could have issued a refund or a credit. We only realized the mistake after we got home so they didn't provide any resolution and just gas lighted about the problem even existing. They said we could go back in time and add fish to the order, but we were already at home. I don't get why this all had to be so argumentative. We had an amazing time! As a vegetarian/gluten free couple, it was so nice to find a restaurant that caters to both of our diets (and with plenty of delicious options). Had a great lunch experience here! The inside is very nicely decorated with florals hanging from the ceiling, nice couches, and lighting. You can order from the counter or sit down and have wait service. I ordered the island vibes bowl with lettuce instead of brown rice and it was delicious! Decided to try this place out with my boyfriend on Saturday morning. We went in around noon and it's decorated very cute and there was no wait for a table, the place was not even half full. They filled our water right away, which was great, but after that everything took a turn. It took a while for anyone to come over and take your order, our water jug was empty rather quickly, we have to flag somebody down to get that. And we waited about 45 minutes for our food to come out, after asking the kid that finally came back with the water "how much longer for the food?" Breakfast we did enjoy, the food was fine. However, we ordered French toast and there was no butter or syrup with it, so we had to wait to ask for that as well. We noticed a couple of other tables having to flag down wait staff, get up and steal place settings from empty tables, etc. While the staff was nice, and the food was decent, we will not be going back. If the place was packed, we could of course understand. But not even half full it was absolutely unacceptable. No one came to ask how our food came out, if we needed anything, etc. Once you're in the door and sitting, you are forgotten Maybe this was an off day, but there were 4-5 employees and an empty dining room so I'm not sure what happened here...Please improve on your staff's attentiveness. Very pretty cafe with an amazing ambiance. The decor is amazing, almost feels like you're not in the middle of patchogue. the food is definitely delicious. Their menu offers anything from an amazing Buffalo cauliflower appetizer to fresh salads, breakfast food and rice bowls. I obviously loved their Buffalo cauliflower, it's not breaded so it really soaks up the Buffalo flavor. It's also sprinkled with some blue cheese crumbles to balance the heat. I had the jardín salad, which was different than any salad I've ever had. It has fried goat cheese which was so crispy and soft at the same time. It definitely elevated the flavors of the salad. Would recommend for anyone to try the salad or at least the fried goat cheese as they offer it as an appetizer. My husband had the chicken quesadilla which was delicious, he ate it in about 5 bites haha. The cafe con leche was amazing. I love my coffee without sugar and it was soooo smooth... 10/10. Our issue was that my wife had her bridal shower there and they did not keep to the time they promised. My in-laws paid well for 12 noon - 4p. When we arrived the sign on the window said 10a - 3p. They started kicking us out at 3:30. Not cool. Owner was very awkward and did not help us in the situation. I'd eat here again, but would never do another event here. read more

This place is adorable! It's so vibrant inside and clean feeling while also being super chic! The food is delicious and filling and doesn't make you feel heavy whatsoever. They have an awesome cocktail list where they have fresh pressed juices that can be spiked. The service was relatively quick and the waiter was super friendly and checked on us often. We truly enjoyed our experience here and would definitely recommend to others as well as come back again. read more

So disappointed. This is my second time coming here, the first time was about a year ago, and the food was pretty good. However, not this time around! I ordered a kale Buffalo cauliflower salad and ended up with wilted kale, it should've been thrown out, it was inedible, there was zero crunch to it, it was chewy when I took my first bite, so I couldn't eat it. It had a few cherry tomatoes thrown in, huge chunks of onion + two cauliflower pieces that were basically mush! $19.99! Unreal.. In all my years, this was the worst dish I've ever received at a restaurant. I know it's just a salad, but I've had amazing salads, at $20 and at $14 - so that's inexcusable. read more

"we're pretty busy" was the response after waiting over 40 minutes and still hadn't been served a veggie burger and a regular burger. We entered the restaurant and were in awe of a welcoming environment surrounded by bright, colorful flowers. My group decided to dine outside to enjoy the Thursday evening (don't worry, the bees weren't attacking, they were enjoying their flower food!) There were many drinks to choose from but I started my dinner visit with a light and refreshing strawberry-watermelon sangria that features fresh-cut fruit. It was so addicting, I had to have more than one! We then tried the ceviche and honey-chipotle wings (so flipping delicious) for an appetizer. The seafood was fresh and full of flavor. It was as if they caught it that same morning, lol. It was accompanied by yucca chips, and they complemented each other very well. The wings were crisp on the outside, and tender and juicy on the inside. While I do love spicy food, the sauce was not too overpowering as the honey balanced the flavors out very well. There is a great variety of food - from sandwiches, to bowls, to pizzas, to tacos, and many others. It was hard to choose an option, it all looked so appealing. For my main course, after days of my indecisiveness, I chose the Flaming Rooster sandwich. The crunch of the chicken was absolutely the best part of the sandwich (& it's gluten-free!) It was very close to Japanese Katsu style. It was topped with tangy with a kick chipotle slaw and pickled onions on a brioche bun and accompanied by the crispest fries I've ever had. Overall, this was a great experience. From being located on Main Street, having healthy, organic, and flavorful foods, vegetarian/vegan options, a beautiful ambiance, and great staff, you can't go wrong with Jardin Café. read more

My new favorite spot in Patchogue! Food was delicious and healthy! We started with guacamole that came with healthy sides such as celery, carrots, red pepper slices and yuca chips. Then we had a Buffalo chicken flatbread on a cauliflower crust- it was so good! I also had shrimp lettuce wraps which also were very good. Everything was so fresh, delicious and filling! My husband also had the purple haze drink with is made with butterfly pea flower tea which has so many benefits! The ambiance was very cute with all the flowers. Just went here with my wife for lunch. The menu looks fantastic, however they miss the mark by far. Tomato soup was basically dark red salt water. We switched it out for the creamy onion soup, which was also just...odd. It tasted more of mushrooms than onion. They then sent us the wrong sandwich. Her pesto chicken sandwich turned into a tuna sandwich upon leaving the kitchen. The chicken sandwich that finally did come out was very greasy. My chicken bowl was mediocre at best. Definitely not worth the price and never coming back here. As a chef I feel very sad for this food. read more

This place is excellent and so much more than just a cafe! They have a full, elaborate menu ranging from appetizers, flatbreads, salads, tacos and breakfast (which is served all day). The decor is stunning and it's such a relaxing and comforting environment. My friend and I grabbed dinner here and we stayed for hours because of how nice the atmosphere was. The outdoor patio also looked really nice! The staff was really helpful and all our food was excellent. I highly recommend the watermelon sangria; it's great for summer! read more

Sad to say that we are super disappointed in Jardin Cafe. Unfortunately their online photos/instagram posts look nothing like what you actually get. (compare my tuna bowl to theirs in the pics) For a $7 up-charge for Ahi Tuna, I got three torn up thin pieces that had a terrible fishy aftertaste. Everything else in the bowl seemed old as well. Canned mushrooms, canned mango - everything was probably meal prepped Monday to last the entire week. The juices are also terrible. The Immunity Juice was basically a $11 sugary orange juice. Not a single bit of ginger or cayenne. Unfortunately we will never return. read more

Last night my husband and I went to Patchogue for dinner. We ended up parking at the east end of Patchogue. We were planning on going to Ruta Oaxaca Mexican but we ended up at Jardin Café. It looks so beautiful inside we decided to give it a try. We were greeted at the front door and said we can pick anywhere to sit. We decided to sit at the bar which was empty. The bartender Andres greeted us and asked us what we would like to drink. I had a dirty martini and hubby had spicy apricot margarita, both were fantastic. We shared the ceviche which was served with yucca chips. We will be back even if it's just for that. :D it was so fresh and flavorful. I had the blackened mahi mahi tacos and my husband had the carne asada ones. Both were served with some of the best black beans I have ever had and brown rice (which I'm usually not a fan of). Both dishes were excellent and the tacos were stuffed. The dinners and appy were enough food for us that we didn't have any dessert. The table behind us had a mariachi band come in to play for someone's birthday. So, dinner turned into dinner and a show. There were only 2 servers and the bartender working the front of the house and they certainly were working their asses off. It didn't seem as if anyone was waiting for food or drinks for an extended period of time. Overall, it was a fabulous experience and we will be back soon. read more

DO NOT GO HERE‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼if i could give 0 stars i would!!!!! the decor is deceiving!!! when i walked in, the first thing i noticed was just how loud the music was and how it did not fit the vibe of the restaurant at all. i ordered the Purple Haze drink, expecting it to be an original fun drink that they made. what i got was basically a watered down country time lemonade with purple food dye in it. it was absolutely disgusting. then i got the guac and it was so bland and the yuca chips were so greasy. for my meal i got the chipotle chicken flatbread and it was covered in large raw grape tomatoes and soggy beans. the chicken tasted like it was microwaved. i had to stop eating it because it was so nasty. i am so disappointed i had to pay the absurd price for such disgusting food. not to mention, everyone in my party that ate there got stomach sick immediately after eating at jardin cafe. would NOT recommend, please improve!!!! read more
