Authentic and flavorful Turkish food, great service. The ambience is just ok- kind of basic and clean, not particularly cozy.

George's is rarity these days; an old school luncheonette. So if you like infused water, ancient…read moregrains, avocado whatever and the like, stop reading and head down the street to the endless myriad of other places. But, if you like delicious simple American food at reasonable prices. This is the place for you. Really. Ambiance is simple old school luncheonette. Like out of Life Magazine. And it's spotless and perfect. Service is spot on with a touch of sarcasm, like it should be when everyone seems to know everyone here. Great diner style coffee and super fresh and tasty juices will come out quick and so will your food. Except the home made corned beef hash. You'll wait a few minutes, and just a few extra minutes for that. Because they basically make from scratch on the spot. At least that's what it tastes like. So good So, corned beef hash and eggs is my go to, and it's my nirvana of meals too, but hey I'm a simple fat guy. And it's off the hook Nothing on Long Island comes close. So if you want a real breakfast, make it a point to come here. Today. Don't be like me. I should have started coming here 10 years ago. I didn't and I regret it. Don't waste a decade of your life on lousy breakfasts. No one needs that tribulation. Go today! Tomorrow is never promised and if it doesn't come, be rest assured you just had the best last meal of your life!

Relaxed seating with open area to the street which can get loud and distracting. Pick a table from the front street and all is good.

Base my reviews off what you pay:…read more *Place was empty on a Thursday evening. Price - ~$45 (2 entrees, tip) Place fine first time, gave it another shot. Food: 2/5 - food was not as good as the last time. Pretzel bun sliders last time were significantly better, also messed up the cook on them (ordered well done, received medium). Had the Tuscan Panini and was 80% bread with a thin chicken cutlet. Very disappointing food this time around. Fries were definitely frozen with some seasoning sprinkled on top. Service: 2/5 - for a place being pretty much empty, you would've expected things to be quick. Not sure if short on staff but took us nearly 40min to get our food. Two couples received their meals before us after seating after us. Honestly did not have great vibes at all. Ambiance: 2/5 - inside itself was fine, cool things hung up and sports bar vibe but just felt lifeless inside. Hard to describe but you can feel it. Overall: 1/5 - despite the 2s, just can't help but give it a 1. Was fine the first time, definitely not returning back after second time. Not to mention tried to get into this place one other time besides the first time but there was nobody to seat us so we just walked in and walked right out. There are plenty of other spots in Patch, skip this one. Best Dish - None Would Return - No
