    Spicy Teriyaki Chicken
    Haneen O.

I was craving a hot dish and had heard of this spot so I decided to try them out. It was easy ordering off of their website and they provide updates via text or email which is convenient. My food was ready earlier than quoted which is a nice surprise. I parked and went inside to grab my food and noticed several other takeout bags at the counter as well as several people dining in. They have a sauce station which is neat so I took soy sauce and sweet & sour packets, as well as sesame seeds and red pepper flakes. I ordered the large spicy teriyaki chicken and it was tasty. Lots of chicken and I liked the sauce. I would like to try their yakisoba noodles as well as dishes with veggies next time. Hope to be back!

    19 minutes on hold

First thing first, these are by far the best teriyaki chicken bowls. The service however, is terrible. After calling in for a pick up order, I was immediately placed on hold. No big deal, right? So I wait, and wait, and wait some more. 19 minutes... Still no answer. Don't call in your order but beware if you show up and order, it takes about 20/30 minutes to receive the food. So disappointed. Looks like I'll be finding a new place.

I was craving sushi and I didn't want to go anywhere so had it delivered through DoorDash. I won't be able to comment on the service and the ambiance. My partner got Katsu curry. My sushi was okay, not bad for the price. I am from Japan so I try not to have a high bar when it comes to sushi in the US. Just when I crave them, I get them. My partner's curry was just not good. I definitely make a better curry myself. Heavily pickled taste. I wouldn't mind getting the sushi again when I crave sushi, but not getting the curry for sure.

    Sunshine Roll

This was my first time eating here. I ordered online for take out. The images and descriptions of each item were very good. So many delicious choices but I ended up getting the Sunshine Roll. The Salmon was very fresh and it tasted great all the way through. I will be ordering from here again!!

Doesn't that look good? It also tastes great as well. Been going here for years, quality and food have been very consistent.

Best teriyaki chicken bowl there is anywhere. Love their sauce. I drive about an hour each way to get it and buy an extra for the next day.

Their happy hour is a good price, cocktail is well made and their service is always friendly at their numerous outlets. There is also a small disadvantage of chain energy; although it is polished, it may not be as intimate as a smaller and chef-driven place. The first thing that stood out was the beautiful interior design. The space feels modern, stylish, and inviting, making it perfect for a date night or even a solo dining experience. The aesthetic bar area creates a great atmosphere, and while we chose to sit inside, they also have a lovely covered patio for those who prefer outdoor seating. The food and customer service were both excellent. Portions were generous, flavors were on point, and every dish we ordered was enjoyable. We started with the Heart Attack, garlic edamame, and shrimp tempura appetizers. The garlic edamame was especially memorable--I loved the addition of sesame oil, which added so much flavor and made it stand out from the typical version. To drink, we ordered green tea and a Sapporo on draft. The Sapporo was light, crisp, and airy--definitely something I would order again. For our main dishes, we enjoyed the Sensei Roll, the Screaming "O" Roll, and a nigiri plate from the happy hour menu. Everything was delicious, but the Screaming "O" Roll was the clear highlight of the meal and a must-order in my opinion. Between the beautiful ambiance, attentive service, generous portions, and flavorful food, Haru Sushi delivered a fantastic dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

Some of their specialty rolls are $50/roll!!! I repeat- FiIFTY American dollars per roll. I don't know that I've seen prices that high even in Scottsdale or Las Vegas. There's no reason that this casual sushi spot should be charging like they're off the coast of Japan in an elite cliffside restaurant. The food is very good, but it's not "I need to finance this meal", $50/roll good. Also.. I asked for the WiFi password (literally titled "Haru Sushi Guest") so I could work on my laptop if needed, just to be told they were not allowed to give out their WiFi password out to anyone (even the staff aren't allowed to use it). Kind of silly to be gatekeeping something as simple as WiFi in the year 2026. I would have loved to make this my new working lunch spot, but between the egregiously high prices and the WiFi witness protection program, I'll be skipping it next time.

I opted to forego the "show" ... being seated at a community table for the chef show. But clearly this is the primary focus of this restaurant. The 5-10 smaller individual 2 and 4-tops are adjacent to the bar. The place was packed, and so noisy I couldn't even hear the other person at my table. But on the flip side, it looked and sounded like the people at the community "show" tables were having a ball. Lots of birthdays and celebrations. Anyway, great menu. Started with a couple inspired cocktails, and moved on to the fish taco's and lamb chop appetizers. Outstanding. Only nit, our server disappeared, and the app plates were left on table when our main courses showed up. We were also never serviced for another round of drinks. For our mains I ordered the Wagyu filet with asparagas and fried rice sides cooked medium. My dining guest ordered the salmon roll and a side of fried rice. My steak came out gray and rare, no sear crust at all. Very disappointing. On the flip side my dining partners portion of fried rice was astoundingly large, and good. Never did see our server again until the check was brought over. We were not even offered the dessert menu other than the small pineapple sherbet that came with my meal. Parking is brutal here. The highlight of the night was when Chef David surprised us with one of his specials: seared yellowtail. It was absolutely incredible--lightly seared, buttery, and packed with flavor. If it's available, don't hesitate to order it! For our signature roll, we tried the Harumi Roll.
