The food tasted inconsistent for chicken with noodles the flavors went from one extreme to another almost as if they weren't cooked separately from seafood (I have a deathly allergic reaction to) I was only able to eat maybe one or two bites before my throat started to close. I was craving a hot dish and had heard of this spot so I decided to try them out. It was easy ordering off of their website and they provide updates via text or email which is convenient. My food was ready earlier than quoted which is a nice surprise. I parked and went inside to grab my food and noticed several other takeout bags at the counter as well as several people dining in. They have a sauce station which is neat so I took soy sauce and sweet & sour packets, as well as sesame seeds and red pepper flakes. I ordered the large spicy teriyaki chicken and it was tasty. Lots of chicken and I liked the sauce. I would like to try their yakisoba noodles as well as dishes with veggies next time. Hope to be back! read more

So I wait, and wait, and wait some more. 19 minutes... Still no answer. Don't call in your order but beware if you show up and order, it takes about 20/30 minutes to receive the food. I was craving sushi and I didn't want to go anywhere so had it delivered through DoorDash. I won't be able to comment on the service and the ambiance. My partner got Katsu curry. My sushi was okay, not bad for the price. I am from Japan so I try not to have a high bar when it comes to sushi in the US. Just when I crave them, I get them. My partner's curry was just not good. I've never seen that in my 23 years of living and loving Pocky. That being said, it goes without saying that this place has great quality food and friendly staff. My family and I have been coming here for years, and are never disappointed! Recently we ordered the steak kabobs and teriyaki chicken. Both were delicious, fresh, and very good quality! The steak was tender, flavorful, and the teriyaki sauce complimented it nicely. The bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms go with the steak very well. The teriyaki chicken (both spicy and regular), was delicious and we also shared some California rolls, which were tasty and great quality. Dismayed to say that there were quite a few bone fragments in the chicken and it didn't really taste that fresh. Potatoes just seemed boiled and thrown in. The carrots were the best part of the curry but that's not really saying much. Neither of us finished our bowls. Gave it two stars since the food was warm when it got to us, and the gyoza we ordered along with the meal was actually delicious! DonKatsu taste like a rubber chicken and teriyaki chicken is like you are chewing on wood chips. Rice is like sand. Also, portions are small to the price they charge. Not sure how I feel about this place, it's understood that it's Japanese fast food but regardless not the best Japanese fast food I've had. Came here for lunch and got the Eel bowl and the Tonkotsu Meal. Eel bowl, lacked just that the eel! Skimpy tiny pieces, unagi sauce a bit too salty. It's a simple meal but with thicker slices and holding back on the salt the bowl would've been perfect. The Tonkotsu Meal came with Tonkotsu, Rice, Miso Soup and a small salad mix. The Tonkotsu was pounded thinly, meat looked a bit too grey for comfort, batter not crisp, nor crunchy from panko breading that I'm accustomed too. Though you do get a big portion for the price you pay ($8) I'd rather head to a Hawaiian Fast Food place to get Tonkotsu. Ideally, I wanted to come here for sushi but the sushi chef wasn't in ... bummer. Service is typical for a fast food joint, order at the register and eat at any of the tables. Interior is clean and water, utensils, napkins and sauces readily available. read more
