I called jans towing and the guy who answered was very rude. I was trying to get a price quote to see who has the better deal. I was looking around for prices and I called him a second by accident . He answered saying in a rude tone what are you trying to do and I forgot the rest . After that I hung up. I called triple a. Triple a told me they have someone for dispatch. It just so happened to be the same guy from hand towing. Almost waiting an hr I get contacted by triple a. They tell me that he said there was an exchange of words and wouldn't come tow me. Now there was no one from triple a who could pick me up and 12 at night. Whoever that guy is who answer the phones needs to be fired. read more

About a week ago, my boyfriend lost his only set of car keys on the metro. We had called AAA because the car was at the metro station parking lot. Originally, I was prepared to give Jan's a one star review. The first driver that showed up told my boyfriend that he wouldn't be able to get the car out of the garage. We had been waiting for a pretty long time at the metro station for the first driver to arrive and were cometely dissapointed and stuck on what to do from there. We decided to call AAA again and they sent another driver. Who I believe his name is Eduardo (so sorry if that isnt correct, my short term memory is pretty bad). This tow truck driver went above and beyond to help us get our car out of the parking garage. It was a lot of work that this driver put in and without him, we would have been absolutely stuck. I had battery problems with my 2006 Yamaha FJR 1300A. The bike wouldn't start. My driver, Carlos, arrived quickly. He carefully inspected the bike in an effort to locate the battery. I told him what the service person at a local bike shop told me. The battery wasn't in that location. Not to be deterred, Carlos then checked the other side. Found the battery location. Carefully removed parts of the ferring. Carefully attached the battery charger. The bike started after Carlos patiently waited for it to charge. He then put the ferring back together. Awful last experience using Jan's and it will be my last, this is not the typical service or attitude we usually get from this business. I requested Jan's tow my truck to the body shop on December 8th when someone hit the rear driver side while it was parked. While they were quick to respond and send a truck that is about where the good service ends. Myself and 2 of my coworkers as well as the party that ran into the truck watched as the Jan's worker hooked my truck up from only ONE of the two available d ring shackles and pulled the truck onto the flat bed, once the truck was loaded the worker continued to use the ONE side as an anchor and pulled the bumper down and away from the vehicle resulting in more damage to my bumper. The truck has since been at the body shop and this was the earliest I had time to go see what body work has been performed on the rear and I noticed the damages to the front bumper. When I tried to contact Jan's about the incident we were disrespected and treated poorly. From someone who has worked years in customer service, your customer service is God awful. I did not deserve to be hung up on by Steve Dougan or to be spoken to like I'm ignorant. Your company damaged my bumper, I have witness to prove it and you don't want to fix it, anyone else that is looking for a tow company needs to be warned that this is how you're treated when you point out a mistake made by them. read more

Enrique arrived very promptly, he used logic to know the car was in the alley and was right in front of my garage when I came out. He didn't let me doing any of the dirty work, he insisted on doing everything himself even though it's in my nature to help, he assured me he had the situation under control. He was friendly, knowledgeable and fast. You can tell he had a keen sense of detail and was gentle with my vehicle. He even made me laugh a couple of times before I had my coffee. I managed to pop a 4Runner tire in the middle of Burro Canyon shooting range, which is up a winding dirt road and has NO cellphone reception. It was a new car, and I didn't know squat about changing the tire, so I called AAA from the front office. They dispatched Jorge Arias, who showed up ready to tow the 4Runner out of the canyon if needed. Jorge knew his shit. He was friendly, efficient, and had me on the road in twenty minutes. This dude was a miracle. He showed up in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of a PANDEMIC, and in the middle of a bunch of people who were armed with guns!!
