Don't ever call them worst experience ever they refused to take my vehicle to my apartment building because they don't do that anymore.Tow truck driver said new policy drop off on street only to which would be ticketed by the city. I explained to them the building has Amazon & semi's delivering there, driver says new policy they do not longer go into parking structures so had him reroute delivered to a friends home again. Driver said he cannot go up the driveway he had to leave it in the street. Owner gave permission for driver for use of their property drop off again tow truck driver refused! We had to push that heavy vehicle up the driveway. JANS TOWING only does street delivery . So why pay for a service that doesn't do what it's meant for. NEVER AGAIN! So my hubby goes on Sunday to get our belongings out of our car at Jan's towing in Glendora on Valencia. After the Saturday experience we thought it couldn't get any worse than them only being open for two hours on Saturday and Sunday. But no it got worse. My hubby determined to get our stuff out came at 7 am and the guy would t let him in without proper paperwork such as registration even though it was in the car and he just had to retrieve it. The guy told him he couldn't get it out of the car. So my hubby had to go home and get a copy of it to prove that the car is ours.. then the guy sat and watched my hubby as he got our stuff. He was rude and wouldn't let my hubby drive into the lot to put the stuff in but offered him a cart to put the belongings on so he could rub it to the car. This place sucks do not have your car towed here. They make you feel like you are doing something wrong or it's an inconvenience to be there for them.. we have traumatized by the accident already we didn't need further trauma getting what rightfully belonged to us. So I had one of the worst experiences with one of the drivers who was a Caucasian male in a van was blocking a handicap parking and also an employee parking I tried to tell him that I need to park there I waited over 5 minutes he was rolling his eyes in the vehicle as I was standing there asking him if he can move he finally moves after 7 minutes. I then called and spoke with the dispatch. She was even worse, she stuck up for him, she said how was he supposed to know he had the right to parK in two parking spaces, to block a handicap space and also an employee PARKING. She was yelling and screaming at me said she was going to give me a bad review because I told THEM I was going to give them a bad review. She was doing retaliation and I can't believe a company like this is even allowed to have people like this work for them. I'm sure the call was recorded and that clearly shows that that's retaliation as well this company is ridiculous. I've never met let alone have to speak with a dispatcher that was the worst person I've ever talked to in a company. She was the most unprofessional literally was threatening me and trying to say she was going to get me in trouble with my job since I was doing the right thing and reporting this to them. I am so very happy and extremely grateful to my Tow driver, Jorge A. It was 12:37 am and I was stranded at the Grocery Store in the parking lot. I was there for about 2 hours before I decided to get a tow. I called and immediately he showed up. Like a night In Shining armor. I returned home after a long thanksgiving weekend to find my car battery completely dead. Got on the AAA app and requested service, and they quickly dispatched Jan's Towing to my location. Rick Ray was the driver assigned to the call. Rick was very professional as he assessed the situation. Within a few minutes he determined that my battery was not dead but it was an emergency shutoff switch connected to my alarm. Zero Rating. A Janns tow truck showed up to the right address but had the wrong name. 2nd tow attempt of the day. The driver called dispatch to clarify name and address with Daniel the dispatcher. Daniel said "Get the F#%* out there. Mentioned Prado's towing from Baldwin Park to him was out there. I called dispatch and got through to Daniel " remembering his voice" from before. I introduced myself. He claimed AAA screwed up. Previously Prado towing show up and the driver JR said no problem I know how to release the brakes. I was willing to show jR but he insisted he knew how to release the brakes. The brakes were release when I left. JR called after I left a said he couldn't release the brake. I tried to explained to Jr how too release the brakes but JR said management to him to leave. I called two numbers with Pardo towing no answer. So I sent a scathing email asking why did you send inexperience person JR out and no flat bed. And why did Upper management abandoned my truck. Still email response. I returned and the brakes were on. I went to released the brake and it almost rolled over me. Lucky I placed a block/ wheel chuck to prevent an accident before releasing the brakes. I would never use Jan's towing or Prado's towing or recommend them to anyone. I think they work together. I'm going contact AAA and report how bad the service was with Jan's and Prado's towing. Today, 11/25/24, thought I had a dead battery - of course AAA sent Jan's Towing to the rescue, car in my garage. Donovan was tech who arrived in a speedy manner, less then 45 minutes! While we weren't sure if it was the battery (battery tested fine) Donovan came up with a few other possibilities wrong with "start" button on dash, lights I'd never even noticed on my Cadillac XTS and he was able to clear start!!! We also discussed a couple of other possibilities. Donovan was so kind and patient listening to my concerns which I will of course address with my car dealer. So my fuel guage stopped working about a week ago. I ran a little bit low on fuel and has a little bit of a incline so I ran out a fuel diesel truck and they call AAA well they sent out Jim's towing and the technician was probably 2122 years old and when I spoke with Aaa and reassured them that they knew that it was a truck with diesel. I told them so they can get out a gas can on gasoline in it that he called his dispatch on after I told him I need to diesel fuel and dispatch said tell him we don't dude like we don't deal with diesel fuel at all be a total ass, so then the kid looked music man he's like they don't even reimburse me for this gasoline I just got for you I want to pay for it out of my own pocket so that I had to go to the radio said just put the gasoline away and leave it so he left.
