Consumer Warning Statement Regarding Tow Truck Practices This statement is made to warn the public and relevant authorities about alleged predatory and unlawful towing practices involving Ramos Towing LLC. A vehicle belonging to my sister-in-law's son was parked overnight in a parking lot and was towed without proper notice. When my sister-in-law attempted to retrieve the vehicle, representatives of Ramos Towing LLC repeatedly demanded cash payment only and refused to accept other forms of payment. Due to the company's refusal to cooperate and escalating concerns, law enforcement had to be contacted in order for the vehicle to be released. Additionally, the vehicle was not stored at a licensed tow yard, as required by California law, but instead was located at a private residential address. This raised serious concerns regarding the legality and safety of the tow, as well as the condition in which the vehicle was being held. At the time of release, the tow truck involved did not display a required California tow truck identification number, which is mandated under California Vehicle Code regulations. After finally recovering the vehicle, it was discovered that the car was no longer operable and had to be towed again to the owner's home, resulting in further financial and emotional hardship. Based on this experience, I am issuing a public warning to consumers to exercise extreme caution and to not trust Ramos Towing LLC. The conduct described above appears predatory, deceptive, and inconsistent with California towing laws intended to protect consumers. Driver was awesome and was there in under 20 minutes. Absolutely epic service highly recommend very professional and he was able to put the car that was not running in my driveway. It's very narrow and skinny and I didn't think it would be possible and we would have to push it up the driveway, but he was able to make it all work in just a few minutes, absolutely five stars. I've had service from them before and their drivers have been courteous. Unfortunately the driver today literally refused to do his job which was to test my battery and replace it under its warranty. He jump started the car and when I asked him to test it he said that if he had to jump it again to run the test I would get marked for a second call with aaa. He left and I called triple A to have another driver come out because unfortunately my battery will not hold a charge and suddenly no one was available with the battery to service my car. It's funny if I needed a new battery I'm sure plenty of services would have been available but to replace under warranty no one was available. read more

Hi I was driving on the freeway today. 710 south. Your flatbed was speeding and came real close to me from behind. Tailgating. I guess that he got mad that I was going slower, he passed me on my left and then cut me off with no turn signal and went through 3 lanes and exited before the 105w. I have it all on my dash cam. I could send it to you. You have a driver representing your company in that manner, wow. When ever your driver is in your company vehicle it's a moving billboard. They should be on your best behavior. I am DOT verified and manage a fleet of trucks. I would it tolerate this kind of behavior in my company. I asked the guy (who's name I failed to get) to see if the tire would take the air in so I wouldn't put him through the hassle of towing me when I could drive the 1 mile to the tire shop. On Saturday afternoon, someone hit my car while it was parked. After dealing with the police report and calling my insurance they contacted a different towing company that had me waiting for 4 hours and never showed up. Eventually I called AAA rather than go through my insurances services but AAA also had issues getting me a tow truck since it was 8pm by that point. We decided to schedule a pick up with AAA for the next morning and we're told that Ramos Towing would be there at 10:15am. Victor called us to let us know he was on the way and he was even early. Late last year we called AAA to have someone open my 95 year old moms car as she had mis-located her keys. Ramos Towing met my brother at my moms house. In trying to open my moms door, they broke the windshield in two places. I contacted the folks at Ramos and they denied being responsible for this damage. It's sad they would take advantage of an old lady. Sadly honesty doesn't seem to be trait this company adheres to.
