Our experience with VMS was fantastic! The people that I worked with during the time they had my truck were all excellent, very professional and kind (Rick, Kevin, Liz and Vicky). My 2024 GMC 3500 was damaged by hail while on a trip (in Nebraska), I don't have the names of the people that actually did the repair work, but they did an excellent job, they restored the truck to showroom new condition; the truck had a lot of damage, real craftsmen. I did not have experience working with VMS, so I was a bit nervous; they kept me informed as they progressed through the process, and they took care of working with my insurance company. Where do I start? From start to finish my experience with VMS auto body was immaculate. I have an Audi Etron that I've kept in pristine condition and I take care of all my vehicles and only trust certified shops. My first initial interaction would be when I called to get a repair quote with Vicky, i was down the street when I called and I expressed how frustrated I was with the vandalism on my vehicle. (My car was keyed in multiple places and I had chipping of paint from door dings and objects all over) -- I decided to come in shortly and have her take a better look for understanding and explanation of what had to be done. During my visit, I also met Rick who specializes in European and German vehicles and he assured me that the repairs will be done precisely and I felt very confident after my interaction with him so I was happy with my decision on going forward with my repairs with VMS because of the detailed consultation that they had during my estimate visit.. a few weeks later.... Swirls can be seen in the ceramic coating, but since this is an auto body shop, I'm assuming they don't specialize in ceramic coatings like the place that did the original ceramic coating on the vehicle. read more

First of all, they had my car for three weeks, which is not unusual. But in that three week period they managed to use a half tank of gas (I had just filled it up the day before leaving it with them). My hybrid plug-in battery was also depleted. The battery itself has a 30 mile range. The car gets about 55 mpg (Hyundai Hybrid plug in). I get about 538 miles per tank. When I got the car back there was only 301 miles left in the tank. Why did they drive my car 200+ miles? I asked them about it and they side stepped the question a few times. They billed the insurance company for an alignment, but they didn't do one. It was out of alignment when I took it in, and had the same alignment problem when I got it back. They tried to say it was from a "fresh" impact to the rim. He said he new it was fresh because it was red. FYI: The color can only prove that something red scraped it. He said he would do the alignment for free but couldn't guarantee that it didn't need some alignment parts! That I WOULD THAVE TO PAY FOR! I did an itemizatuon of parts and work. And found a few descrepencies. In their defense, they did install a new spoiler I provided for free. That is the only good thing they did. Horrible experience, and I would highly advise someone else. read more

Don't come here if your car isn't new. They wanted 12k to repair sideswipe which led to my insurance totaling out my car for just a sideswipe that was fixable. Rick was horrible and refused to budge on his overcharged estimate or waive the storage fees even though no actual work was done, they held my car hostage so I couldn't go get a second opinion. Now my drivable car is a total loss for no reason. VMS tried to squeeze my insurance company into paying for stuff that wasn't needed with their inflated estimate and now I'm the one left holding the bag with the bank loan on a car I just purchased 5 months ago. To elaborate how nice they were.. after driving off with my car. I had encountered electrical problems with my door handle. Prior to calling them I I had attempted multiple times to make sure there was a malfunction before contacting them. I had called notified the problem.
