Here's what I brought home, 2017 Chevy equinox
    Jose T.

I walked in and walked for about 2 minutes before I started seeing suv I liked. So much to choose from it's wild. Prices are negotiable but make sure and take enough cash because there is a 9.74% (depending on your zip code) for every $1000. I was ready since I went with my friend that has purchased here before. I left with a 2017 Chevy equinox. All that I've had to do to it was change the tire monitoring sensors but it runs great. Would definitely go there again and definitely recommend to anyone looking to buy with cash in hand.

So we came here for a car on a non auction day. They had a pretty dope selection of cars there for good prices. You don't get the price as low as you would at auction, but you also are getting to choose the car you want without others bidding and it's still lower than you'd find anywhere else. The thing I really liked about it though is that the car was smogged and there weren't any hidden problems or check engine lights. The one thing I thought was a little sneaky was they wrote on the windshield "105,000 miles". Then during the paperwork it said "177,000" and when I asked they said it's because there was a new engine with only 105k miles in it. Which on one hand I was annoyed a little and just went with it but on the other hand, now I was looking at a whole car and not just an engine with almost 200k miles on it. I've also realized that this is inevitable no matter where you buy a car and that was the only complaint I had. HOWEVER, the car was immaculate inside and out, it has been completely reliable with no surprises (and we have driven it roundtrip to both Southern Oregon as well as Las Vegas a few times with no issues ever) and it has been a great experience. Especially for the price we got it for. Very easy deal, no hassles, they accepted our offer below what they had it listed for, and we were not there the whole day playing games like you would at a dealership. All in all, I'd completely go buy from them again.

My experience with Cali Auction was extremely frustrating and disappointing. The bidding process…read moredid not feel transparent or fair. It appeared that the same vehicle was being bid up repeatedly until the reserve price was met, creating the impression that bids were being placed by parties other than genuine buyers. Instead of allowing real market demand to determine the final price, it felt like the auction was structured to push bids higher until a specific number was reached. This made it difficult to trust the legitimacy of the auction. On top of that, communication was poor, and questions about bidding activity and reserve pricing were not clearly addressed. For an auction platform where people are spending serious money, transparency and trust are critical. Overall, I would not recommend Cali Auction. Based on my experience, buyers should proceed with caution and be aware that the final price may not reflect true competitive bidding.

They have a few new cars and an Infinity caught my eye, the price on the window was $4,900, I asked a young guy who works there to get it started to check the engine and the inside. Everything sounded well, before he asked me if I wanted to test drive it... one of the owners of Asian descent whispered something in his ear and walked away. After checking for leaks, I noticed they had changed the window price to $6,500 (see the attached pictures up close, minus my buddy being a clown). I felt it was unethical of their part and shady actually. I asked why they had done sone, and he responded that it was price incorrect. Horrible way of conducting business, never buying from them. Attached the before and after pics with proof of their shadiness.

I can't say enough good things about him and his crew. They showed up on time and got the job done. I do have to say that Robert does present well; very charming and full of optimistic visions for the large estate sale to which he was entrusted. None of it was real though, the sale was not advertised to the extent which I was promised and at the sale there were only of handful of people who showed up. It did surprise me that Robert was on a first name basis with the 6 or 7 people who all walked away with what has to amount to the deals of the century! Nothing went for anywhere near it's value even though the quality of the things to be sold was substantial. The only positive thing I can and should note is that Robert was faced with a monumental clean-up in the home prior to the sale and whoever he did use did an amazing job. It hurts me greatly to have to write such a poor review, this sale took place months ago and it still haunts me. I feel a responsibility to alert any potential clients that they really need to go into any agreement with their eyes open. I wish I had had the courage to stop the auction when I realized what things were being sold for, it was just shocking and I would hate to see anyone else have to go through this awful heartbreak.

This was GREAT!! I sold my GMC Acadia to them. I was skeptical that this wasn't a legit company,…read morepartially because I had never heard of this business model of selling your car, and partially because of the name (it just didn't sound serious.) But I researched it and decided to go for it. It turned out to be the perfect happy medium between doing a dealership trade in (most convenient but least amount of money for your car) and selling my car privately (huge hassle but most amount of money for your car). I made an appointment and went to the Woodland Hills location. The whole thing took about an hour. They did an inspection, posted my car on their portal, and ran an online auction for 10 minutes where we watched a TV screen as about 50 dealers looked at my car. I got about 12 offers I think (10 is average) and I accepted the highest one. You don't have to; you could walk away if you wanted. But that offer was considerably higher than if I had sold my car to the dealership as a trade in. Maybe not as high as a private sale would have been because they are a middle man, but WAY less hassle. An hour versus weeks of fielding emails or phone calls, letting people test drive it only to be ghosted ... no thank you. They wrote me a check right there and I left my car. I had a friend pick me up. It was SO easy. I will definitely do this option again next time. I wish I could remember the name of the woman who handled everything; she was great!! Shout out to her and apologies for forgetting her name!

AVOID AVOID AVOID…read more Even by used car standards, these guys are easily the biggest liars and scumbags I've ever dealt with. And they are so stupid it's all in writing. First they lied and told me they could sell the extended warranty for $2,900. Then they tried to sell me the same warranty for *$9,000* on a car where they were offering the identical warranty on their own website (same car) for $5,700. They just inflate the prices and try to screw their customers hoping they don't notice. See screenshots below. Then the finance manager claimed it was a "GM manufacturer's warranty" even though that was a blatant lie. It was for a Corvette and he later admitted it was done by Toyota Financial Services. Then they claimed a third party warranty would offer Used fake Chinese parts. Yet another lie. All in writing. Then they promised to reserve the car with a credit card. I told them to send me the info so I could give them credit card for the deposit and book travel. They didn't send it and I followed up three times today. They kept blaming their email system not working and other excuses. He finally sent it as I was walking into a 4PM meeting, and I told him I would sign it when I walked out and call him. I called him as I walked out and he told me that he had someone else coming to see the car and that "they had been trying to get a hold of me all day" - another COMPLETE LIE . I had literally called them FIVE times that day, and had spoken to him less than 90 minutes before. I have the call history to prove it. He also told me they had "30 salespeople competing to sell that car". When's the last time you saw a small town car dealer with *30* salespeople? These idiots wasted hours of my time, and lied repeatedly at every step. (and in case you're wondering, see attached photos where they claimed they were offering a factory GM warranty as a Toyota dealership, as well as the warranty discrepancy) Trust me... Take your business elsewhere.
