I purchased a car from here almost two years ago, 2000 Toyota Corolla. And its still going strong. The only big thing I've had to replace is the starter. Everything else is small like a bulb or fuse here and there. And regular maintenance tuneups, but nothing big. My engine is still strong. I definitely recommend this place. read more

I purchased a truck from this place on 3/11/2022 (a toyota tundra). I found the ad on auto trader and decided to go and take a look (I called ahead). I was met with a seemingly nice man and woman who showed me the truck and off on a VERY brief test drive I went. I went in with all figures pre-negotiated and pre-approved for my lovely new tundra(as-is, they wont offer any sort of warranty). I purchased my truck and being told its in great condition "if it doesnt work we wont sell it". I get home and the next day loud noises from the engine....oh and the headlights arent working....and the interior lights either....oh and the stereo either. I asked about these items and they convinced me it wasnt an issue. Nonetheless, I bought a truck and within 2 weeks and a bunch on money later I have what I HOPE is not a lemon. This place does not take care of what they sell and good luck getting them to help......Oh and during the whole buying process there will be a sketchy woman who stands behind you and watches everything you do on your phone. read more

I purchased a 2005 4x4 Silverado here on 3/16/2019. On the drive home, I started hearing a loud rattling coming from under the cab. I showed a Chevrolet technician friend of mine who said that the rattling under the truck is indicative of a failing NP246 transfer case (4x4 part of transmission). On 3/17/2019 I took it to a shop who confirmed the sound was in fact the transfer case failing ($1200 for a rebuilt unit + labor). Knowing full well that there is no warranty (I signed an "AS-IS NO WARRANTY" disclosure), I was a little bummed out (to say the least). I texted Richard of Ochoa Auto Sales of what was happening just so they're aware and maybe they could talk to their mechanic to keep a sharper eye out . To my surprise, he contacted me and apologized about the issue and offered some help. I wont go into specifics on how, but I have to say I was impressed with the show of good faith and integrity. Any used car can have issues, that's a gamble we all take buying used. That being said, Ochoa Auto Sales is good in my book. Thanks for a good experience Richard. read more

Bought a used 2004 Acura TL over a year ago. It's still running great today. I did my homework on the car and figured out what it was worth and what I wanted to pay for it. I negotiated a lower price than listed without much hassle. They allow a test drive with one of the brothers and full inspection of the vehicle before purchase. They were upfront when asked that they buy their cars from auction and sell them so they don't know all the details or maintenance history. They do provide a Carfax. Another review mentioned registration fee overcharge. There is a website to look up the registration fees that DMV will charge and they do overcharge for this service but they are in it for profit. I negotiated a big chunk off so the overcharge didn't really bother me. It was overall a good car buying experience and I would buy from them again. read more

They were pretty friendly and straightforward. Small place run by 2 brothers. The problem came after the sale. They never sent in my registration which should have been $117. But they charged me $180 on my invoice. They claimed they did not know exactly what the dmv charges would be. I don't believe that. So they overcharged me $63 and I never would have caught it if they had not sent in my registration papers anyway. My guess is that a lot of customers never even see this fee and just pay for the fees AGAIN to the DMV. After explaining this he agreed to pay only the registration and not the late fee. After some arguing on the phone he finally agreed to pay the fine which was hefty of $85. Said he would mail a check today. I hope so. The car itself has been running fine. I can't recommend them though due to the sloppy follow through and unwillingness to make good on this. I think they should have pay me back the $180 and the $85 penalty, but instead they would only pay $202. Now I have to waste my time and go to dmv myself and take care of this right away. read more

He called me three days later with the perfect car. I asked for no black or red colors. The vehicle he sold me is silver and it is in near new condition. Gave me a time to go and wasn't there so Richard was the one there to show me the car. Tried trading in my car and they tried to give me nowhere near what Kelly blue book was offering.
