The plan was to buy two cars from this place. The establishment had many selections but while in line, I couldn't help to see a gentlemen turned away for bringing a portable diagnostic tool. I understand they are not allowed for liability reasons but that made me more curious to really check out the cars. In short, I strongly recommend bringing your own mechanic and be very alert when inspecting the car. If you need a car urgently, this is the place to go. SCAM!!! I bought a 2015 Nissan Sentra with 101 k miles and drove off fine. When I was driving to work I started to feel the car jerk over and over. Went to a friend to see what happened and the car has a problem with the transmission. RPM does not match mph and fighting itself. This was the first time at this place. I was excited to see how the car auctions are. At the moment, to arrive, they get to check on you for security. Also, you need to sign your name on the guest list. After that you can check all the cars, miles and yr. Starting looking what gets your attention to make an offer. They told us that if you follow the place and the DJ, you will participate in a raffle, they gave us tickets, stated at the end the raffle will become. They let you in an hour before the auction starts. There's a little booth selling tacos inside, also outside it was a hot dog car when you can also get water, sodas, monsters, etc. Everything was good. 2 hours of showing the cars. Portable toilets available, one for men and one for women. The reason I give 4 starts is because at the end, they decided not to do the raffle, mentioned they didn't have enough people, and will be done the next auction day. But another person mentioned the same thing happened on the last auction, and she was there from the other one. And happened again, for me was shady telling that to people so they can stay or go another day. Also, they didn't say what the raffle price. I live far away, so there's no option for me to go. And that kind of tricky marketing is unacceptable. Is a public auction, with 500 dollars cash on hand to buy the car, the rest at the next day, and they charge you 200 dollars for admin fee. I went back to them once I found out and they didn't want to help me with anything. The car technically belonged to someone else so it wasn't even theirs to sale so when I went to registration the car at the DMV under my name it was ridiculously annoying and difficult. I bought an SUV & it only lasted about 30mins when it burned down on me on the freeway. This was my first time & definitely MY LASTTTTT. I was extremely bummed out & pissed off because I don't know if this place knew the type of car they were selling was extremely baddddd or what?! The car was overheating a lot & after that I just heard a big BOOM when the car automatically turned off on me. Luckily I jumped out of the car before going up in flames fast. I called 911 & asked them to arrive fast just so I can also save whatever stuff I had left inside the suv. People kept pulling to the side of the road to help me out. The Cops also asked me to report this auction place for selling me a car that almost killed me. I have been calling them, leaving voicemails & sending private message on IG but they have been ignoring me. Left a comment on a post on IG & of course they erased it so other people wouldn't see it. When you call their number they ignore your calls. The next day I called a junk yard to come pick up the junk car I got from this auction place. NOTTTTTT worth buying from this place. I thank god I'm alive & that nothing happened to me. Obviously for this type of experience I DO NOTTTTTTTTTT recommend coming here. I've seen many bad post reviews about this auction but still decided to go. MANYYYYY 5 star reviews ARE FAKEEEE. Bad engine. Most likely they used that liquid head gasket sealer so they can sell it. Car seemed fine for about a month or less then started giving me problems. The clogged water pump and thermostat should have been a sign for me when I replaced them since they say those sealer clogs them up. You guys got me but it's all good. The people representing this company highlight the disclaimer to avoid liability: vehicles are sold "as is", they have no knowledge of vehicle history, no check engine lights, no vibration, you can inspect the vehicle, plug in your diagnostic tool, clean title, tags are good until they expire. This isn't their first auction. They have to KNOW what they can get away with. The day you buy a car in CA is the day those tags expire. Once they have ANY of your money, doubtful you could recover any of it for any reason. Buyer beware. Yes, it's possible to get a good vehicle at a good price. But do your research. A lot of research. Then have someone check for you. They can tell you directly to your face "It's a good car. No check engine. Low miles. Registration good for 6 months". The moment you pay & sign, you own it. Won a bid here, put a deposit down and after checking carfax, I saw they purchased the car 59 days prior from a dealership wholesale at 228k miles and sold it at their auction less than 2 months later with odometer showing 149k miles. they clearly rolled the miles back so they could auction for more. When I confronted them, they told me I was out of luck and would not return my deposit. After talking with fellow buyers, they told me similar stories from this place. one guy said they did the same thing to him and his engine blew the same week as purchase taking a 5k loss. read more

But the way they are doing it here is weird nobody bids on the cars and the guy keeps raising the price as if people are bidding on it. I came here three times in a row and something seemed off when I saw some of the same cars that were supposedly sold before. I did ended up buying a car and had to come back because the paperwork was not signed but the person who sold it then went to AAA to get it registered and couldn't do it because the previous owner was an LLC and not the person who was listed on the paperwork they gave me so I had to go back. It was ridiculous the amount of time I had to spend going back and forth to get this fixed. Will definitely not come back or recommend this place.
