The plan was to buy two cars from this place. The establishment had many selections but while in line, I couldn't help to see a gentlemen turned away for bringing a portable diagnostic tool. I understand they are not allowed for liability reasons but that made me more curious to really check out the cars. In short, I strongly recommend bringing your own mechanic and be very alert when inspecting the car. If you need a car urgently, this is the place to go. The lifetime of the car is always questionable. Its an auction, what do you expect. My rating is based on selection options and not as a putchaser. Before you ask, we ended up going elsewhere. read more

Extremely disappointing experience. I would NOT recommend this auction based on how they handled my purchase and my $500 deposit. I went to Cali Auto Auction Pomona and actually won/bought a vehicle at the auction. I paid the required $500 deposit and was told by the lady there that I could come back the following Wednesday to complete the purchase and pick up the vehicle. I came back Wednesday, as I was instructed. When I arrived, I was then told that I needed to come back the following day, but I was assured that would be okay and that I could still get the vehicle. I had the money in hand and was completely ready to pay for the car. That's when I was told they didn't have the title and that I couldn't take the vehicle without it. I was visiting from out of town and had a flight to catch. They told me I would have to wait hours for the situation to be handled, which I simply could not do because I needed to leave. At that point, I explained that I was given incorrect information by their employees and asked them to refund my $500 deposit. I was told they would look into it and get back to me. After that, they were texting back and forth with me and even asked me to provide my deposit receipt, which I did because I genuinely thought they were working on getting my money back. Then they completely stopped responding. I've followed up multiple times, asked for management to contact me, and have received no resolution. I have the receipt, the messages, and documentation showing my attempts to resolve this. I understand that deposits can have terms and conditions, but when your own employees give a customer conflicting information, the customer shows up with the money ready to complete the purchase, and then the vehicle can't be released because the title isn't available, I expect someone in management to at least communicate with me and explain the situation. Instead, I've been ignored after they requested my documentation. The $500 is one thing, but the lack of communication and customer service is what is most disappointing. I would strongly recommend asking very specific questions about the title, pickup process, and deposit terms before bidding on a vehicle here. read more

This was the first time at this place. I was excited to see how the car auctions are. At the moment, to arrive, they get to check on you for security. Also, you need to sign your name on the guest list. After that you can check all the cars, miles and yr. Starting looking what gets your attention to make an offer. They told us that if you follow the place and the DJ, you will participate in a raffle, they gave us tickets, stated at the end the raffle will become. They let you in an hour before the auction starts. There's a little booth selling tacos inside, also outside it was a hot dog car when you can also get water, sodas, monsters, etc. Everything was good. 2 hours of showing the cars. Portable toilets available, one for men and one for women. The reason I give 4 starts is because at the end, they decided not to do the raffle, mentioned they didn't have enough people, and will be done the next auction day. But another person mentioned the same thing happened on the last auction, and she was there from the other one. And happened again, for me was shady telling that to people so they can stay or go another day. Also, they didn't say what the raffle price. I live far away, so there's no option for me to go. And that kind of tricky marketing is unacceptable. Is a public auction, with 500 dollars cash on hand to buy the car, the rest at the next day, and they charge you 200 dollars for admin fee. Hopefully, that information helps you if you're deciding to go. read more

SCAM!!! I bought a 2015 Nissan Sentra with 101 k miles and drove off fine. When I was driving to work I started to feel the car jerk over and over. Went to a friend to see what happened and the car has a problem with the transmission. RPM does not match mph and fighting itself. Don't buy or go here unless you want a car you could do more work than it's actually worth. Do as you will with this info!!! read more

These people are scammers. They don't disclose all information on the car. I bought a car and it was behind two years on tags but that's not what the license plate showed. I went back to them once I found out and they didn't want to help me with anything. The car technically belonged to someone else so it wasn't even theirs to sale so when I went to registration the car at the DMV under my name it was ridiculously annoying and difficult. They had recommended me to go to a place called Gomez, but I did a quick research on them and found out that they were scammers as well. Don't listen to anything they say or trust them. read more

The worst place to buy a car. I bought 2008 Honda Accord in 8/2024 As of yet , I have not got it smog. I had Everything done to it Spark plus, tune up, Fan belt, oil change , Power Steering, serpent belt with damper and coil all six. When first bought the car they put on the machine it Give any reason that something was wrong with the engine. Only when they. Start working on the car. I took it to the second mechanic they realized engine not good But you can't Realize that until you start On the car You can't detect that with the machine. They won't give me my money back.Or just give me another car . They sold me a car Noing that the engine was no good. They're not trying to help me at all. I would never buy a car from this auction. They're a piece of junk read more

If I can give this place zero stars I would this place needs to be shut down!!!!!selling cars to people that don't work. I bought a ford explorer for $8500 with motor and turbos that don't work that was $7,000 to fix do I have that money no! Don't buy any cars from this auction read more

This place is a complete joke and I will make a complain to BBB. Cars don't start at 500$ as advertised If the car doesn't sell at a certain amount, they will act like someone bought it but it's someone internal They have ppl working internally to keep you bidding. Total fraud and they know it. I even see some staff from other auctions with them negotiating behind the booth. You will see some cars the following weekend and act like someone didn't pick it up lol Oh and the best part is that they pick and choose what is true and what is false. Starting with mileage. I hope they're reading this because I will continue to attend to document all of their BS See u soon. read more

Great place to buy cheap cars good food and goodmusic with a variety of cars to choose from overall great vibes

I bought an SUV & it only lasted about 30mins when it burned down on me on the freeway. This was my first time & definitely MY LASTTTTT. I was extremely bummed out & pissed off because I don't know if this place knew the type of car they were selling was extremely baddddd or what?! The car was overheating a lot & after that I just heard a big BOOM when the car automatically turned off on me. Luckily I jumped out of the car before going up in flames fast. I called 911 & asked them to arrive fast just so I can also save whatever stuff I had left inside the suv. People kept pulling to the side of the road to help me out. The Cops also asked me to report this auction place for selling me a car that almost killed me. I have been calling them, leaving voicemails & sending private message on IG but they have been ignoring me. Left a comment on a post on IG & of course they erased it so other people wouldn't see it. When you call their number they ignore your calls. The next day I called a junk yard to come pick up the junk car I got from this auction place. NOTTTTTT worth buying from this place. I thank god I'm alive & that nothing happened to me. Obviously for this type of experience I DO NOTTTTTTTTTT recommend coming here. I've seen many bad post reviews about this auction but still decided to go. MANYYYYY 5 star reviews ARE FAKEEEE. They are trying to have people give them a 5 star due to all the BAD are REAL reviews they have. I regret sooo much & only thank god I'm alive. PEOPLE PLEASEEEEEE BE AWAREEEEEE OF THIS PLACE & AVOIDDDDD GOING HERE unless u want to end up like the others with a junk car on your driveway or burned car like what I got. read more

I wasn't going to post but they blocked me because I asked about the mileage. They take advantage of older people so watch out. They sell 15 year old cars and make it seem like they are new and sell them for more than dealers average car has over 150k miles. Unprofessional employees. They won't let you test drive as well and no money back. I wouldn't even let my worst enemy come here. Once you buy a car they cut any communication with you so be careful.. read more

Bad engine. Most likely they used that liquid head gasket sealer so they can sell it. Car seemed fine for about a month or less then started giving me problems. The clogged water pump and thermostat should have been a sign for me when I replaced them since they say those sealer clogs them up. You guys got me but it's all good. I bought a Camry from this place after they said it only had 136k miles and it was a one owner car . I paid $2600 for it and now I need to put $6,000 into it . Now I have to sell this car to a junk yard for $500. Never will I buy from a auction again. read more

DO NOT BUY HERE. They tamper with the odometer's on lots of their cars. Won a bid here, put a deposit down and after checking carfax, I saw they purchased the car 59 days prior from a dealership wholesale at 228k miles and sold it at their auction less than 2 months later with odometer showing 149k miles. they clearly rolled the miles back so they could auction for more. When I confronted them, they told me I was out of luck and would not return my deposit. After talking with fellow buyers, they told me similar stories from this place. one guy said they did the same thing to him and his engine blew the same week as purchase taking a 5k loss. read more

Workers bid up cars. They clear the check engine lights and pass them off as good cars. Don't recommend you go. What the others below are saying is true, if they don't get the price they want they say someone didn't leave the deposit and auction the car the following week. read more

It's unfortunate that there are people/businesses that deceive. The people representing this company highlight the disclaimer to avoid liability: vehicles are sold "as is", they have no knowledge of vehicle history, no check engine lights, no vibration, you can inspect the vehicle, plug in your diagnostic tool, clean title, tags are good until they expire. This isn't their first auction. They have to KNOW what they can get away with. The day you buy a car in CA is the day those tags expire. Once they have ANY of your money, doubtful you could recover any of it for any reason. Buyer beware. Yes, it's possible to get a good vehicle at a good price. But do your research. A lot of research. Then have someone check for you. They can tell you directly to your face "It's a good car. No check engine. Low miles. Registration good for 6 months". The moment you pay & sign, you own it. Most of the reviews say much of the same, they will tell you X, but discovered something else. They sell cars. They wouldn't sell many if they told you everything they do know about that vehicle. read more

What can't you beat about this place. Cheap nice cars. The price is correct for the money you're paying. Doesn't mean you're getting a brand new car with warranty and Doesn't mean you're getting a car that doesn't have a few little issues but hey that's what you're paying for. I have purchased a few cars and so far no major issues. I'm happy going and the people that work there are really professional and friendly. read more

Definitely DO NOT recommend this place. They rip people off yes you take your chances in buying used cars specially if you don't know anything about cars. But the way they are doing it here is weird nobody bids on the cars and the guy keeps raising the price as if people are bidding on it. I came here three times in a row and something seemed off when I saw some of the same cars that were supposedly sold before. I did ended up buying a car and had to come back because the paperwork was not signed but the person who sold it then went to AAA to get it registered and couldn't do it because the previous owner was an LLC and not the person who was listed on the paperwork they gave me so I had to go back. It was ridiculous the amount of time I had to spend going back and forth to get this fixed. Will definitely not come back or recommend this place. I'm giving them one star because I had no choice but they don't deserve any. read more
