Okay this is a very inconspicuous corndog stand, but it's got such a nostalgic, beachy vibe, and it doesn't hurt that the food is great! I've only been here once, and I have been hoping to go back for a great corndog and fries. I ordered a regular corndog and some fries. I asked for a water also and they provided a cup of ice-cold water for free. It's self serve condiments and a nice short walk to the beach-all you gotta do is cross the street!

A super cute fast corn dog stand that serves both turkey and beef corn dogs as well as cheese corn dogs, funnel cake, and churros. I highly recommend the lemonade! It's tangy and zesty without being too bitter. Super cold and refreshing and goes great with their corn dogs. The corn dogs are fresh, fluffy, crispy on the inside, and piping hot. Definitely the best corn dogs in my opinion and regular spot for me when I'm in the area for a quick bite or snack. There is no seating but it's close to the pier and there are some benches on the outside. Service is usually fast considering they make everything fresh and people are usually friendly.

They accept card!! Initially avoided this place because I assumed they only accepted cash... but they do accept card! Super friendly employee- got my order out fast and kept me updated on when they needed to get me a new churro. Loved being able to just order my food and enjoy it while listening to the open mic next door and then while walking on the pier. Easy street parking nearby. Will be back!

Located across from the entrance to the Seal Beach pier, the exterior of this place looks exactly like a food stand at a beach should. They sell items that one expects at a pier or fairgrounds; corn dogs, churros, fries, cotton candy, funnel cakes... You order and pick up at a window. There is no designated seating but a few benches can be found along the street. Or go for a walk on the pier or sit in the sand. I ordered a beef corn dog and a lemonade. They cook to order so it took a few minutes. Once ready, I pumped some mustard on my corndog from the dispenser on a corner counter. I sat on a nearby bench and enjoyed a piping hot, perfectly made corn dog. Honestly, it was amazing. The freshly squeezed lemonade was excellent too; tart and not sweet, but obviously sweetened a bit to take the edge off the tartness. Refreshing! This is the corn dog that all other corn dogs should be judged by. (note: there is a surcharge for credit card use)

Overall: A cute little spot I hope never goes away from this pretty beach. I got a hotdog and lemonade for just under $10, which is pretty reasonable for beachside food! Hotdog was solid (a bit small for the price, but again, factoring beachside) - and I really like their lemonade! Sweeter but hit the spot just right for me. Service: Nice staff and my food and drink came out very quick! Ambiance: Unmatched. Doesn't really get much better than getting to walk right across and eat your fresh hotdog/corn dog right on the beach.

I love Jane's corndogs--freshly dipped, crispy outer layer. I try to get one whenever I'm in the area. It's a perfect little place to grab a snack. The lemonade is refreshing. Friendly and fast service. Can't go wrong with Jane's.

Beef corn dog and chili cheese dog - tasty!!

Jane's Corndogs has been selling some tasty comfort food to the visitors and locals of Seal Beach for years. It has become a part of the city's nostalgic landscape, along with many other establishments in the area. The menu is simple with tasty options. My favorite items are the beef corn dogs, chili cheese dogs, and lemonade. The churros and funnel cake are great for satisfying a sweet tooth. The staff is friendly and gets orders out promptly. You order at the walk-up window, and pick up is in the next window. There are no tables or seats, but the area offers a beach, a pier, and benches for relaxation and enjoying a meal. My only recommendation is that the staff or owner update their menu board with clear prices. There's a board behind the window that's difficult to see. Other than that, keep up the great work!

Love love love this place! Worker was super patient with us and so kind to let us try the fresh lemonade. Cheddar Cheese (10/5 stars) - this was so amazing! the batter is perfect and the cheddar was melted and strong in taste Lemoade (5/5) - the first time I ever had lemoade that wasn't super sour! and the sugar level was perfect so it didn't over power the lemon's tartness Overall, amazing food and service!

Stumbled upon Jane's Hotdogs while looking for something to eat in Seal Beach. They seem to be known for their corn dogs and lemonade, but we went with what we were craving- funnel cake, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The funnel cake was perfectly cooked- crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and super flavorful. It came loaded with powdered sugar, just the way it should be, and we added a side of chocolate sauce that paired perfectly. So good! The customer service was great too. The gentleman at the counter was super thoughtful. He asked if we wanted it bagged since we were headed back across the street to the beach, and he made sure we had everything we'd need to enjoy it on the go. A simple spot with solid treats and friendly service. Will definitely come back to try the corn dogs next time! Highly recommend.

Random little neighborhood joint with a funky flair. Menu is extensive and the food matches the…read moremood! All of our food was amazing. We came all the way from Santa Clarita and we're not disappointed. Past all the namebrand places by the aquarium and came here and we're not disappointed. I had the work burger, which has fried portobello mushrooms. Others in our group had grilled cheese and poutine burger, and Italian burger and the hotdog and the breakfast burritos. No one was disappointed actually, we were surprisingly pleased with our selections. Sleeper items are the fried cheese curds by themselves. Make sure you get these. Also the onion rings are batter dipped. And beyond delicious! Only bummer is the drinks are cans, so if you need more than one drink, be prepared to pay for each can. The food was super delicious!!

We stopped by here because it was late and they were still open. Another reason I wanted to try it…read morewas because they served poutine, and I'm always on the lookout for places that offer it. It was really loud during our visit. I'm not sure if it's always that lively on Friday nights, but it was the weekend of Warped Tour, so there was a lot of music and energy. If you're looking for a quieter meal, this may not be the best night to visit. The food itself was good, but the wait was much longer than expected. We waited almost 40 minutes for our order. Unfortunately, my burger was also made incorrectly. I ordered the Bacon Bleu Burger but was served a different burger instead. Not quite sure what it was, but it had mushrooms and American cheese. Since we had already waited so long, I decided to just eat it rather than send it back. The burgers were flavorful, but they were smaller than I expected for the price, and they don't come with fries. To round out my meal, I ordered the poutine fries. They were decent. The fries were nice and crispy, which I appreciated. My husband ordered the Burger Don Chendo, and that ended up being the standout of the night. I usually don't like spicy food, but this burger had just the right amount of heat without being overwhelming. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but between the long wait, the incorrect order, and the portion size for the price, the experience was a bit hit-or-miss. I'd be willing to give them another try, especially for the Don Chendo burger, but I'm hoping for a smoother experience next time.
