Love the nostalgic look of this place. Totally reminds me of a corndog stand you'd see at a carnival or a state fair. You order and pick up at a window. Takes cash and card but there is a surcharge for using a card. There's no dine-in option but there are some benches along the street. I rarely eat corndogs but the ones here were excellent. You can get either beef or turkey corndogs. It also has other items like cheese on a stick, funnel cakes, churros, hotdogs, fries, lemonade, and cotton candy. Family and I ordered beef corndogs, cheese on a stick, fries, and lemonade. The ratio of sausage to batter was good on the corndog. The batter wasn't overly seasoned with salt, and had excellent flavor. Everything here is made to order so everything tasted fresh. Even the lemonade was excellent. Wasn't too sweet and tasted like freshly squeezed lemonade, not some overly processed ones you get at a store. Cheese on a stick was surprisingly good as well. The batter on the cheese on a stick tasted different than the ones on regular corndogs. The batter tasted more like sweet cornbread, giving a nice contrast with cheese. They sell items that one expects at a pier or fairgrounds; corn dogs, churros, fries, cotton candy, funnel cakes... You order and pick up at a window. There is no designated seating but a few benches can be found along the street. Or go for a walk on the pier or sit in the sand. I ordered a beef corn dog and a lemonade. They cook to order so it took a few minutes. Once ready, I pumped some mustard on my corndog from the dispenser on a corner counter. I sat on a nearby bench and enjoyed a piping hot, perfectly made corn dog. Honestly, it was amazing. The freshly squeezed lemonade was excellent too; tart and not sweet, but obviously sweetened a bit to take the edge off the tartness. Refreshing! Bottle of water $1.50 We like to come down to Seal Beach and walk up and down Main Street, then out to the end of the pier and back. At some point we stop by Jane's for a corndog. I got the Cheese Stick once and I did not like it as much as the traditional beef corndog. Why mess with perfection! There are a couple benches along the sidewalk and there is usually a nice rotation of customers so you can grab a seat. The summer months though, you may need to go across the street to the grass if you want to sit. Or walk and eat! This is definitely a must try. read more

Stumbled upon Jane's Hotdogs while looking for something to eat in Seal Beach. They seem to be known for their corn dogs and lemonade, but we went with what we were craving- funnel cake, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The funnel cake was perfectly cooked- crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and super flavorful. It came loaded with powdered sugar, just the way it should be, and we added a side of chocolate sauce that paired perfectly. So good! The customer service was great too. The gentleman at the counter was super thoughtful. He asked if we wanted it bagged since we were headed back across the street to the beach, and he made sure we had everything we'd need to enjoy it on the go. The corndog batter was soft and not too thick and the turkey was fresh - prob the best corndog I've had anywhere better than hotdog on a stick. The churro had a nice crunchy exterior with lots of sweet cinnamon sugar but was super moist inside. So good. The fresh lemonade was perfectly sweet sour balanced. The lady was super nice.
