I love Jane's corndogs--freshly dipped, crispy outer layer. I try to get one whenever I'm in the area. It's a perfect little place to grab a snack. The lemonade is refreshing. Friendly and fast service. Can't go wrong with Jane's.

Beef corn dog and chili cheese dog - tasty!!

Jane's Corndogs has been selling some tasty comfort food to the visitors and locals of Seal Beach for years. It has become a part of the city's nostalgic landscape, along with many other establishments in the area. The menu is simple with tasty options. My favorite items are the beef corn dogs, chili cheese dogs, and lemonade. The churros and funnel cake are great for satisfying a sweet tooth. The staff is friendly and gets orders out promptly. You order at the walk-up window, and pick up is in the next window. There are no tables or seats, but the area offers a beach, a pier, and benches for relaxation and enjoying a meal. My only recommendation is that the staff or owner update their menu board with clear prices. There's a board behind the window that's difficult to see. Other than that, keep up the great work!

Love love love this place! Worker was super patient with us and so kind to let us try the fresh lemonade. Cheddar Cheese (10/5 stars) - this was so amazing! the batter is perfect and the cheddar was melted and strong in taste Lemoade (5/5) - the first time I ever had lemoade that wasn't super sour! and the sugar level was perfect so it didn't over power the lemon's tartness Overall, amazing food and service!

Stumbled upon Jane's Hotdogs while looking for something to eat in Seal Beach. They seem to be known for their corn dogs and lemonade, but we went with what we were craving- funnel cake, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The funnel cake was perfectly cooked- crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and super flavorful. It came loaded with powdered sugar, just the way it should be, and we added a side of chocolate sauce that paired perfectly. So good! The customer service was great too. The gentleman at the counter was super thoughtful. He asked if we wanted it bagged since we were headed back across the street to the beach, and he made sure we had everything we'd need to enjoy it on the go. A simple spot with solid treats and friendly service. Will definitely come back to try the corn dogs next time! Highly recommend.

I absolutely love this place. Every time we come out to this area this is where we have our dinner. Everyone is always perfectly delicious. Service is always fast and friendly

What a great little find. Located right across Seal Beach I didnt have any expectations from this little shack. Just wanted a quick bite while walking the pier. We tried the turkey corndogs, churro, and lemonade. Prices were reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality of everything. The corndog batter was soft and not too thick and the turkey was fresh - prob the best corndog I've had anywhere better than hotdog on a stick. The churro had a nice crunchy exterior with lots of sweet cinnamon sugar but was super moist inside. So good. The fresh lemonade was perfectly sweet sour balanced. The lady was super nice. Overall this is a must visit when coming to Seal Beach. 5 stars easy.

Everything is so good! Go to place after a run and wanting something tasty. Got the chili cheese fries for the first time this trip and they did not disappoint. Crispy fries and delicious chili and cheese. The employee also added some fresh onions and jalapeños, the perfect addition. The turkey corn dogs are the go-to. Crispy light batter and a juicy dog inside. Also not pictured is the lemonade. I always have to get a large, it's the perfect amount of sweetness and sour. The service is quick and everything is always hot and fresh. This place is the best.

Good food, great lemonade! :) If we come to the pier we almost always stop for some lemonade here, it's a great price, and it's even greater quality! Their corners, hotdogs, fries, etc. are also quite good on a sunny beach day! The service is always quick and friendly, and with the beach right behind you there's endless seating and natural ambiance. ;)

Everything about Jane's corn dogs is on point. The chili cheese dog, the corn dog, the American cheese dog, and the lemonade. But the best part is the service. The employees are so nice and welcoming. Lots of parking near by and the view of the beach makes your meal even more enjoyable. Can't wait to be back.

I love a good corndog, and these are some of the best! This is a walk up window on Ocean Avenue across the street from Seal Beach. You can order corn dogs, hotdogs, fried cheese, French fries, cotton candy, churros, and funnel cake. We got two corndogs, a hotdog and a funnel cake. The breading on the corndogs is so crispy and light, and the hot dog is a great quality. You can get beef or turkey dog. The funnel cake was less cake-y than I'm used to, and more crispy, but it was yummy. The best part of this place is that you can cross the street and be at the beach--a great place to eat your corndogs and funnel cake!

Cute little spot by seal beach! I came here for the first time to check out the area since I'm Trying to explore more on my own and get out of my comfort zone. I took my food and enjoyed it across the way at the beach/park area! Totally worth it. The owner is super cute too and sweet. Asian lady cooking up corn dogs hahah love it

This little corn dog shack with the colorful storefront is the cutest thing ever, it really gives you a wonderful summer vibe at the beach. My girlfriend got the Pepperjack cheese on a stick and said it was delicious. I got the turkey corn dog which I can confirm was scrumptious. This really is the perfect snack for a beach day, and the best part is that the actual beach is walking distance from it, 3 minute walk to the pier!! The service was also amazing, the lady that took my order was super nice with a big smile on her face. The wait was not long even though there were a few people. They take cash or card, except that with card they do charge a 50 cent fee.

They accept cash/card payments. 50 cents applied with card payment.

Story time-My family and I went to an amusement park a couple weekends ago my son who is autistic and is quite a picky eater, tried cheese on a stick for the first time. He seemed to have really enjoyed it bc he ate the whole thing. We were happy. Anyway, so that lead me to search for a place in or nearby HB that sells cheese on a stick and that's how we found Jane's Corndog. Today was a beautiful day.. we decided to take a drive to Seal Beach. Street parking only 1 hour limit and there's a lot of spots for paid parking. We parked a block down. It wasn't too busy. They are literally across the street from the beach. We approached the counter and received excellent service. Ordered two cheese on a stick (forgot to take a photo of them lol) and a couple of sodas. We waited about 10-15 mins for our order. When my name was called, I went up to the window and I believe the lady back there might be the owner was so nice and said to hi to my son. She gave him a small lemonade. My son was so happy to have tried their fresh squeezed lemonade (I drank most of it lol!). It was pretty good. We definitely are returning because my son loves the cheese on a stick.

Corndogs, cheese on sticks, crisp fries, oh my.

They have a restroom luckily but I didn't need to use it. There's only a few staff and they were busy. They asked to order from the touchscreen kiosk and many customers complied. I ordered via the app, but like usual, when ordering right then and there, you get your food quicker. We got a few breakfast combos, we were missing some sauces and so I did have to ask for them and had to wait since the staff was not near the front. They do not have a refillable drink fountain machine so we had to ask for refills. The food was good! Warm and packed neatly. Their drive thru was quite busy but plenty of customers came within the 20 minutes we were there.

Literally took 15 minutes to get my order - nobody else in the store, no one in line. 15 minutes for items already pre-made. And. On top of that, I didn't see any employees the entire time until I said 'hello' over the counter (you have to order everything on a tablet - with no employee assistance). Got my order, went back to my 'spot' in my trailer parked in the beach parking lot. Lunch time, against my better judgement, went back with my wife. Had to use the tablet again, but wanted to make some changes to my order. No assistance from the staff and was told 'everything was available through the system'. Well, it wasn't, so I completed my order (with about 10 minutes of fumbling) and paid. I then called an employee over to explain what I wanted. Was greeted, but then told I should have done it through the menu system. I told them I couldn't modify a 'combo' and, when I mentioned I couldn't, was told 'it's all available on the system' - so now you have to help me because it wasn't. I also ordered drinks, but my options were small, medium and large - no option for the type of drink. In the end, it was about 10 minutes of ordering followed by 3-4 minutes of verifying what I wanted - followed by a final question (from the employee) as to what drink I wanted. All that - why not just have an employee take my order as I want it - 2-3 minutes tops. And then (yes, a bit more), I got a little bit of attitude when I asked for ranch and hot sauce. I've been to some establishments that are going more to DIY order systems, but this is one of the worst. Two stars is being nice - they did get the order right so I had to give them that. But, won't be back to this one again. Just an awful experience.

I usually order a Double-Double with cheese and no onions, and a chocolate shake. The prices are reasonable and actually cheaper than McDonald's. Imagine that! The service is fast and friendly, even though they can get very busy, especially during lunch hour. Most of the time, I order take out, and wait no longer than 10 minutes, if that. Just one time they didn't get my order exactly right, but I just let it go and attributed it to a fluke. Mistakes happen. The restaurant facility itself is very clean. I never saw any litter or mess anywhere each time I've gone there. I've never used the restroom but I have no doubt that it's immaculate. If there's a downside to this location, it's how they direct the queue of cars going through the drive-thru. If the line is long, it can affect the row of parking spaces immediately adjacent, and anyone trying to leave may not be able to, unless a courteous driver in the drive-thru line allows it. Overall, even though this particular location can get really busy, the service and food quality remain consistently high.

Parking was easy to find; there's a large parking lot around the restaurant. However, I suggest not parking in any of the spaces near the lanes that lead to the drive thru area. In peak times, you'll have a difficult time leaving the parking space unless a courteous driver gives you room to get out. I had a difficult time leaving my parking space as I was trying to leave because a group of about 7 cars queued themselves up to the drive thru speaker and wouldn't let me get out. I decided I was going to eat inside, so I stood in a short line for what I thought was going to take a short time time for me to place my order. Apparently, the ten teens in line ahead of me were all friends of the one employee taking their orders. The employee wanted to know all about the party that his friends in line had attended while casually taking their orders. It seemed that the other three employees that I saw at the time working in the kitchen were also not in any hurry. I do have to note that the employee was friendly and efficient as he took my order. The restaurant was clean and the lighting was bright. Ordered a #1: Double-Double with onions, French fries and a medium drink. Got my empty cup and went to the self serve fountain drink dispensers to fill it up. It took about 10 minutes for me to get my order, picking it up at the counter after my number was called. The food was as I expected. Hot in temperature, fresh tasting, hamburger was delicious, and fries were partly crispy and partly soggy in textures. Good and filling!
