I had the server Gracie and she was amazing 5 Stars, as well as Emma who she was training. Very professional and polite. Her recommendations were great, I went with a classic margarita made fresh and the grilled buffalo shrimp while sitting outside on their beautiful patio. Pleasantly surprised. Well, I love Jameson Whiskey so this sounded like the place to be. Service:: excellent Prices: Decent Food: I got the skirt steak. It was cooked Medium rare as requested. But, had to add lots of salt just to get some taste. Very bland. Also a bit on the chewy side. Probably doesn't help that I just came from Texas where they can make some mean Skirt Steak. Other: VERY Disappointed that they display the American Flag WITH a red stripe. Typically means they support military. Asked for a military discount and they said they don't do military discounts. Display the flag for sure 100%, but don't show it with a red stripe unless you actually support the military in some fashion. Perhaps they do, but the server didn't understand the meaning of the red stripe. Overall: 3 stars because the server was VERY GOOD!!! Wish they backed up what they display proudly and wish their food was a little more tasty. read more

Second time going. Again greeted at the door with pleasant hostesses! Seated right away with the waitress arriving soon after we were seated. She took our beverage order and asked if we would also like water. After returning with the water we gave her our order. One meal Cajun Chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries the other Ham & Swiss club with tater tots with a starter Tempura Green Beans (since they were so good the first time we visited.) Our adult beverages arrived yet the "mixed" beverage was not very good; it was more ice than anything and not very flavorful. It tasted more like coconut crushed ice water. And it was not cheap missing the mark. The Cajun Chicken was not very Cajun it seemed like it was an afterthought- seasoning sprinkled after it was cooked. The Bacon was delicious and flavorful which when eaten with the bite over powered the flavor of the chicken. The chicken was tender and juicy, however not the Cajun flavor I was seeking. Possibly add a spicy mayo or sauce. The sweet potato fries were good, hot and delicious. The Ham & Swiss Club was good and tots were crispy on the outside yet soft and fluffy in the middle. With all the TV'S on and a pretty big crowd it wasn't really loud until a bar patron started getting loud over a game, but someone (think it was an employee or bar tender) asked him to bring it down. After that it was back to the moderate atmosphere. Not too loud for the number of people in the restaurant. We will be back to try something else on the menu! read more

Another bar for good sports and watching people get blitzed on and off field. It has drinks plus all the typical pub food like burgers and pretzels. Jameson's is a place for an okay time. Has lots of TVs with games and other fun action. The service is kind of slow. It has a cool ass name and it pretty much asks you to get a shot of Ireland's best. Probably the only thing seriously cool here. The place is filled with loudmouths and service is extremely slow at times. Coming here with some buddies we definitely got liquored up and had a few bites to munch on. Jameson was the liquor of choice of course and this ended up being the best part. It's $6.50 for a pour but you won't get a lot. The food is typical. A Hot Soft Pretzel is about the best thing here. It's $8 for a pretty big one. This one tasted kind of stale. Other food options aren't any better. There's meaty stuff for most of this. Good name for a bar. It makes it easy to choose a cocktail. I came here last night trying to find the best possible late night place in the Joliet area. I stumbled upon this place after visiting the bar next door. I never knew there was a bar here. It's really quiet here truthfully and most of the guests prefer to be outside. This place is more popular as a restaurant attraction and their food as well but not really much of the late night scene. The place is really beautiful don't get me wrong. Great and best selection of drinks. Their drinks though are a bit pricey and they lack hard ciders. It's not a bad place either. read more

We had a retirement party last nite for about 40 guests. Stacy was my contact person and she was very helpful. I was worried the small back room would be too crowded but it worked out perfectly. The pizzas we ordered were delicious - served hot and plentiful. We brought our own cake and the Pub provided plates and forks for the cake. It was a cash bar and the waitresses were on the job the entire night. I cannot say enough about the service, the venue and the food. All were well worthy of 5 stars. First please look at the date of the bad reviews. Go with the most recent reviews. This local favorite is good on many levels. Ambiance inside and outside is relaxed and comfortable. My food experiences have been limited to burgers which are on special on Mondays! $7 for a regular cheeseburger and $9 for a specialty burger and that includes fries. I am a big guy and I was absolutely satisfied. The $3 draft beers for a pint was nice as well. I was hungry and forgot to take pictures but they look exactly what they looked like on the menu. A friend had a Rueben which she could only finish half of. It looked and smelled great. Prices were fine but hitting me $1 for a side ranch for the fries was a bit much. Last, the servers are great. They know what they're doing and are efficient. Make sure to tip these gals who do their best to keep you happy and coming back. Substitutions are not a big deal so order what you want to eat and enjoy! read more

My husband and I had spent all day out and about and we were struggling to pick a new place to eat and decided to play a game of restaurant roulette and landed on Jameson's Pub because it was the next place we passed. As we sat down and waited for someone to notice us, I perused the reviews and I was not disappointed. They definitely kept me entertained until our waitress came over. I wouldn't call the place "packed", but there were definitely a few good-sized groups for a weekend so I can kind of understand the delay in service. When our waitress did come over, she was as sweet as ever. JP gave me the feel of a really open spaced Hooters or Twin Peaks without the explicit understanding that "We serve food and boobs." But it was definitely an undertone. I guess we had a late lunch or something because we both only ordered an appetizer. Him, the medium wings; me, the pretzel. Off of those two dishes and the plethora of TVs surrounding us, I'd say this is a good spot for anyone trying to catch a game, a UFC fight, or perhaps even have a drafting party (I didn't check on the wi-fi situation so don't quote me on that). The pretzel was soft and was pretty much a solid go-to for easy food. But I will say, on the salt spectrum, it was pretty high. I brushed off some and was good to go. The wings were sauce of the wings was delicious and they were pretty big for bar wings. JP is really just a local watering-hole. It's very low-key so ideal if you want a bar environment and some good bar food. I don't know how often we'll be back, but I'd imagine we'd come again for some of the major UFC fights if they're showing them. read more

I really liked this place! The setting was nice. It looked like a typical bar, and it was very clean on the inside. Our waitress was great. She had really good customer service. She even split our checks, and I was in a group of 8 people. The food was really good! I got the buffalo shrimp. The shrimp were HUGE, and the order came with 10 shrimp. They weren't too spicy for me. I also ordered the onion rings. The serving was also very large. It came with ranch dressing, but the ranch was a little bland for my liking. A group of 9 friends went to Jameson's for lunch on a Monday at noon. We were greeted and seated immediately. We had a nice table in the middle of the restaurant. Tables have good spacing. Our server was Chloe G. She offered us beverages and gave us extra time to look over the menu. Monday was Hamburger special day. Burgers were $7 and Specialty Burgers were $9. I did have the burger, but started with the French Onion Soup $6. Boy was that worth it. Really good. The burger was excellent. Large, tasty. Our server was great. She was knowledgeable with the menu...she was very patient with us, answering all our questions. Most of the other members did have either the burger or specialty burger. Food came out quickly and plates were removed in a timely manner. Beverages were refilled without us having to ask. All were happy with our meals. We will return. read more

Today, I ordered at our office lunch (we order from this facility multiple times a week, per my boss who likes to support local facilities) a Turkey sandwich with NO meat, cheese or Mayo. I basically wanted a veggie sandwich with a fruit cup on the side. I got the fruit cup, and a Turkey sandwich with EVERYTHING I REQUESTED TO BE OMITTED on it. Sadly, this is the a patter with this restaurant I am appalled at the repetitive mistakes. In the past, I have ordered via door dash from Jamenson's and have gotten the wrong order multiple times. I am vegetarian and have other diet restrictions, per my very specific/clear request in door dash. Not to be rude, but they shouldn't allow door dash orders or "comments" on door dash if they're not going to read and follow them. What if I had a severe food allergy? For example, should I have requested a salad with no nuts and the salas had nuts, I could be in the ER right now. Food allergies/diets of paying customers are serious. I wish they would respect them as such. Again, I'm not trying to be rude or disrespectful. Because of this, I have gone without lunch time and time again. I love supporting local businesses and hope one day I can confidently order from this restaurant/pub. read more

Stopped in for a light lunch in between appointments. Casey the bartender was attentive and efficient. Lots of choices on the menu and I went with the Cobb Salad. It was traditional and filled me up. They used fresh grilled chicken breast which earned them the full stars. Par cooked chicken is nasty and I'm glad I chose that salad. Will definitely repeat visit. Not much else to say. When asked about why they charge for ranch, server said, "Well, we make it ourselves." Do you grow your own celery too? Yes they charge for both individually. Overall, had good food here. Good size menu. . Your standard bar food. Burgers , wraps, wings, sandwiches etc ! Bloody Mary's were one of the Sunday specials(4.50), we decided to try one. The mason jar is a great touch. They were not spicy, (I guess you can ask for extra hot sauce) they were pretty tasty! Very busy when we went (get there early for Bears games) . Started off with grilled shrimp w//buffalo sauce 10 shrimp for 11.95, sauce, tasted great, large size shrimp! Worth the price! We l tried the Parmesan fries,4.00 large bowl. Tried the pizza. I guess I'll keep coming and keep complaining! They need to be changed to something thinner, tastier, slightly salty, and served warm for a 5-star from me. I won't order them again. I am doing an evaluation on Jameson's Pub restaurant. When it comes to eating at restaurants it's hard to figure out what the food is because they always have different names so I would say I'm kind of a picky eater. The reason why I went to try it was because we have been to many restaurants around our house and we wanted to try something new and we saw it was like 3 minutes from our house. The type of review that I would give from the experience that I got would be positive. Service: The service that we had was good. When we walked in we told the host how many people we have and she looked at what tables were available and she was able to sit us right down. She gave us as much time as we needed since that was our first time eating from there. Décor: The decorations were there but it was more like sports stuff like that but the decorations were there and they were cool. Menu: Jameson's Pub's menu was amazing; they didn't have 4 different pages like most places have it. Even though they only had one large menu they had so many different options for you to choose from. They had Burgers, Wraps, Salads, Ribs, Wings, Soups, Sandwiches, Steak, and some sea stuff. But they have so much more for you. Food: The food was amazing. We didn't get any appetizers. But It did take a little bit to get it but that's wherever you go. I think that once I got the food though it tasted amazing. I did get a cheeseburger when I went there but when I got it it was packed with so many things on it. It wasn't too dry nor was it too greasy. I get my cheeseburger well done too and they give you those options which are great. Cleanliness: When we walked in it didn't smell weird or dirty and when we went to our table there was some little stuff on the chairs and the floor but it wasn't anything major because they don't always pick up every little thing. Also when I went into the ladies room, I was able to tell that it has been a few hours since they last cleaned this bathroom because there was toilet paper on the ground and by the sinks it was wet from the water. But overall the place was clean. Price: personally for 6 people to go out and eat so much food the price wasn't bad. Normally we pay over $100 but it was about $100 for the amount of people that we had that night. I would give this restaurant a 7/10 because it wasn't amazing but it wasn't the worst. The reason it got this review was because they have amazing food, the area is great and the experience was well done. It's just that the points were simple. I would say I am kind of a picky eater so it's just a restaurant I would wanna go to every week if that makes sense. If I could give a recommendation I would say if you or anyone in your family or even friend group is picky I would look on the menu and see what they have just in case someone doesn't like anything you guys can go somewhere else. I would also say that if you plan on going I would call ahead and make sure there are tables open and not too busy. Because they can get really busy sometimes. read more

The cream of chicken soup is a can of Campbell for jewel, the turkey club sandwich has no flavor and the so called Cuban panini is grilled cheese with ham and pickles for 21 dollars,, the whole order was 95 dollars, what a waste, never again.
