I took my kids to get Jamba juice today. Ordered 3 drinks, 2 mega mango and 1 mango a gogo. Threw away in the trash after few sips. Its disgusting. Why do you let new employees make drinks when they're just newly hire and doesnt know what to put in it??? Manager is teaching the new employee all yelling but theyre just laughing! My son used to love mango a gogo but this time it doesnt even taste like mango. It taste like 5% peach and all water ! Mega mango taste like crap. Used to love jamba juice but this time its Awful! They always get my drink right. I mean its an easy drink nothing but a fresh OJ with two scoops of ICE. The service is great and they were friendly. The minus one star however is the bathroom handle is hard to unlock, you have to really mess with it to open the bathroom door. read more

Staff was very attentive but I came in today and ordered freshly squeezed juice that had a terrible consistency. The juices are at a premium price and this place did not deliver a premium product. Either the ingredients should have been put through a juicer or blended more properly. Worst customer service EVER experienced with Jamba Juice I would HIGHLY suggest going to a different Jamba than this one on Hesperian. It was my first time coming to this specific location but I am a loyal customer to Jamba. Being a loyal customer of course I purchased a Jamba cup. If you bring in your cup with you each time you purchase you get a discount. So I order my normal drink which I know the pricing to the T because that's all I order. Peach pleasure no ice & extra peaches. I'm normally not charged for the extra peaches because I am requesting NO ice which is a key ingredient in most Jamba's smoothies. (You will be surprised how hard it is sometimes for my drink to be made correctly with no ice) I order and notice the cashier Phillip B, according to my receipt, tried charging me for extra peaches and not giving me my discounted price for bringing in my Jamba cup. I thought this would be a relief for myself and my little 1yr who I was holding the entire transaction. I was WRONG! The cashier fixes the extra charges as I remind him of my cup that I brought as well as letting him know I'm normally not charged for the extra peaches since I normally ask for no ice. He makes the adjustment. Please keep in mind I still am holding my child in one arm. I try to hand him my cup and he rejects it saying I need to take the top off. (1. Sign of poor customer service) I set the cup on the counter WITH the top because I do believe that is his job and I was holding my child in my arms when he has two free hands. Plus at all my experiences at other locations I've never had them reject taking my cup because the top isn't off they normally do that themselves and sometimes will even ask if my cup needs to be washed or rinsed before use. The entire time I'm watching my drink be made to ensure no ice is added. I notice one smoothie maker with long blonde hair take someone's smoothie out of view behind a wall and return moments later. I still am watching my drink being made and what appears the lady with long blonde hair accidentally add ice so dishes it out and adds more peaches. Upon completion of my smoothie she places it on the counter with the top not correctly screwed on. I let her know my top isn't on and ask if she can screw it on completely so I don't spill any. Her response was the WORSE! She told me I will need to do that myself...again keep in mind I still am holding my baby in one arm. At this point I'm beyond irritated and voiced my opinion how I purchased this cup with Jamba and the least you can do is put my top on correctly as you would any customer who comes in with or without a Jamba cup. That is when Phillip the cashier chimes in saying it's a sanitation policy which is a complete LIE as I watched him go from handling money to making the person behind me smoothie without washing hi hands. (Wrong person to try mentioning to me any sanitation) Out of all the Jamba locations I have been to I have never had them 1. Try denying my cup if the top wasn't off which was bogus but somehow me putting my cup on the counter with the lid they figured out how to take it off and proceed 2. Being told they can't screw on my lid completely for sanitation reasons. The customer service was HORRIBLE and I expressed that especially if you see I am holding a child in one arm and making all these requests that are part of their job was beyond me. What was even more interesting was the lady behind me was complaining to her son why she didn't like this particular location and then I very well experience myself why she made that statement. I will never step foot back in this location and wouldn't recommend anyone who appreciates good customer service and to be treated fairly to go here! I'm not sure if my race played a part but I do know I witnessed the other customers treated with better customer service and didn't have to ask for their lids to be properly on their drinks when they were given their drink. Definitely need some customer service training and apparently proper sanitation policies enforced...you can touch money and touch food without washing your hands but screwing my lid on my cup is a sanitary policy?! Employees at this Jamba Juice could stand to take a course in customer service including the manager Bailey who was there at the time. They're slow and lack proficient customer service skills. My wrap was cold halfway through so they took my half eaten wrap (used the tongs use to put all food in the oven without cleaning them after) and rewarmed the wrap. Which was unsanitary as I had already eaten off of the wrap. It made me wonder what other persons germs were on the tongs I won't be back to this location. read more

Jamba Juice Smoothies are the best! I cannot remember ever having a bad experience at any of their stores no matter the location. This one in Hayward is the closest to my home. I love their enlightened smoothies as I can enjoy all the flavor and healh benefits without the added calories, but my family still enjoys the other smoothie flavors. Hard to believe that I was once taken to that location to watch Snow White soooo many years ago when I was just a tot & the new shopping center was still Festival Cinema....well back to the present. I love Acai Superchargers - which is now the Acai Antioxidant thingy... Before I hit the gym, I bought a small one at this newer location near Target. The layout is small and was a bit different than normal Jamba Juice locations I've been to. You order on the right side and pick up on the left. Not a big deal to anyone else but for us loyal customers, you'll be a bit thrown off. I really wanted a smoothie, my husband and I drove to this location after heaving dinner nearby and as we parked I realized they were closing. My husband went to check the time and signed to me that they were closing (it was like 3 minutes until close). The young woman, Courtney (I hope I'm spelling it right) was about to clear a trash bin and opened the door and told him to "come on in" with a smile. My husband singed me to go in and I quickly went inside. She was smiling and asked us what we would like to order. She did not make a bad face or give any attitude. She did not even rush us (my husband was unsure of what he wanted) She was really nice and made our drinks (which came out perfect). I expect all Jamba Juice's to provide the same experience and product no matter what location I'm at but this one was pretty disappointing.. On the day that I visited there were 3 high school aged females working and they were goofing around the entire time, jumping on each others' backs, looking at things on the internet on their phone, and having conversations that the customer probably doesn't need to hear.. My drink was overflowing after they poured it out and the young lady proceeded to place a cap on it which meant it would spill all over, and it did! She didn't bother to fix that and instead stood there while she watched me wipe my own cup and get a new top for it.. When I told another associate that they filled it way too much her response was "oh wow, I've never had a customer complain that we gave them too much".. I thought her response was highly inappropriate and she should have tried to resolve the issue rather than throw in her personal comments about it..
